Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Well despite my good intentions for this weekend, I fell of the wagon a bit at the end! Dinner out on Monday evening (I ordered scallops with salad but then had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream!) and afternoon tea with the family yesterday were definitely off plan! So I'm writing those days off and starting afresh! I think bank holiday weekends are always going to be tough as they take you out of routine. When I'm at work and pottering at home, it's much easier to be good! That said, I still lost a smidgen this week, and lost some more centimetres this week too.

I've decided to stop shredding for the time being as although it's making me lose inches, I desperately want to get a stone off before I go on my work trip to South Africa so I'm going to focus on sticking 100% to plan, let the loss happen (hopefully!) and then once I'm closer to target, get back on the shred to do the toning I'll definitely need.

So, here goes:

B - Muller Light with fresh pineapple and raspberries
L - Tomato mug shot with cherry tomatoes and Babybel light (2/3 HEXA)
D - Omelette with onions, courgettes, tomatoes and mushrooms topped with 10g Parmesan (1/3 HEXA) and smoked salmon
Snacks - more fresh pineapple, 2 x Alpen Light bars (HEXB)

I think It's healthy to have the occasional day off plan so you can satisfy your cravings otherwise they'll drive you mad! Hence why I consumed half a tub of hagen daaz on Monday.....woops!

It's such a pain with exercise that it tones but slowes your losses down. I have to admit I'm a real slacker for any kind of body magic but I know I can lose without it. Really I see it as more helpful when you're at target and want to maintain :)

Mmm Hagen Daaz! Excellent choice of treat there!

Like you say, exercise is really tricky. I want to be doing it and was enjoying the Shred but I've only lost 1lb in 2 weeks and I really need the scales to keep motivating me so I'm going to park that until I'm in the tens and can see the finish line! Hopefully it won't take me TOO long to get there!

Dinner plans changed last night - I keep intending to have an omelette but then not fancying it! So instead we had SW wedges, spicy baked beans (with chilli, mushrooms and red onion) with mushrooms and tomatoes and a fried egg (fry light, of course!) It was amazing!!

So today:

B - Muller Light and a banana and 13g All Bran Golden Crunch

After that, I'm not sure as the cupboards were bare this mornig! Have to do a mad Tesco mission at lunchtime. Lunch will probably be a Mug Shot with carrot/cucumber sticks.

Mad dash to Lidl at lunchtime! So lunch consists of 3 wheat crackers (4 syns) with extra low fat philly (HEXA), cooked chicken and carrot sticks.

Dinner sorted now too - stir fry with pork and lots of veg. Already looking forward to that and haven't even finished lunch yet!

Dinner was 1 syn for the oyster sauce I put in and I've just had 2 pink wafers (4 syns).

So glad it's Friday tomorrow - this has been a very long short week! Lol xx

It's FRIDAY! Whoop whoop! At least that means only a few more hours of things that can go wrong at work this week (definitely one of those weeks!!).

Breakfast this morning (no surprises here...) - Muller Light with strawberries.

Meeting our design agency at lunchtime so will have to grab a salad of some description from Pret or similar. Hopefully I can find something very low syn.

Dinner - SW lasagne (with tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, onions and mushrooms in the sauce), HEXA parmesan on the top with a side salad - just need to grab some Quark on my way home!

Snacks - Alpen Light x 2, banana

I've just realised I've got skinny jeans on today and there's hardly any muffin top going on! Didn't really register when I got dressed this morning but was just looking at myself in the huge mirror in the ladies at work whilst drying my hands and I realised I didn't have to fight to do them up and once they're on there's nowhere near as much overhang as there was 4 weeks ago! I was starting to get a bit depressed at only losing 8lbs in 4 weeks but it's obviously making a difference! Whoop whoop! Might have to have a small glass of red to celebrate tonight (within syns, of course!!)

ONLY losing 8lb in 4 weeks...try losing only 10lb in 5 months :p

You've done amazingly well to hang on in there, my lovely. I must be really impatient! I've been massively inspired by the lovely Jenna (All_About_The_Climb) - she's gone from my start weight down to the 9s since March and that's what I want to be doing. But I need to accept that it's different for everyone and my body will do it in its own time... xx

Yeah everyones different, your still averaging 2lb a week lose which is the top end of what SW expect, so you aren't losing slow, you are doing rather great :)

Aww thanks lovely. And you're absolutely right. 2lbs a week will hopefully make it sustainable.

Onwards and downwards! :)

xx

Went to Leon for lunch. Went for their steamed salmon superfood salad without dressing which was lettuce, spinach, tomatoes and quinoa. Was really yummy!

Saw people I haven't seen for a few weeks and they said I looked amazing! Hurrah! :)

SW lasagne in the oven. 4 syns for the creme fraiche topping and 6 syns for the glass of wine that's going to go with it! :)

Awesome Saturday so far. South of England show with OH and the 'rents. Resisted bacon rolls first thing and had an amazing fruit salad instead. I was mega proud of myself for resisting the yumminess in the food pavilion - just had 2 small cubes of cheese (1/2 hexa). Had an alpen bar when everyone had tea and danishes! (1/2 hexb). Treated myself to half a cider (4 syns) and am now munching on a small piece of last night's lasagne (2 syns). We brought some amazing steak and some local asparagus so that'll be tonight's dinner - can't wait!

Not feeling great this morning. Made scrambled eggs with spring onions and mushrooms and tomatoes in fry light but only managed a couple of mouthfuls myself. Just has a cuppa with 1/2 hexb alpen bar.

Domestic emergency today so only had 2 pink wafers at lunchtime (4 syns).

Came to mum's for a roast this eve though - yum yum! Roast beef with loads of veggies and roasties done in a smidge of olive oil (1/2 hexb). Raspberries for pudding with 1/2 scoop reduced fat ice cream (3 syns) and a finger of mum's lemon meringue pie (I'll allow 8 syns - even though it was only a couple of mouthfuls!)

Ooh scales this morning are looking good for tomorrow's WI! And I'm wearing a skirt I haven't worn for nearly a year and it does up comfortably again. Whoop whoop!

I was asked yesterday to be a bridesmaid for one of my best friends in March next year so that's another massive bit of motivation to get down to a size 12 dress! Don't think I'll ever be a size 10 but I'll be more than happy as a svelte size 12!
