Scarlett to target one day at a time

Ooh that sounds good! I've got some creamed coconut, might have to try it! Do you know how much she used? X
The recipe in the book says 175g pudding rice to 15g creamed coconut and that makes it 6 syns for the whole lot x

I hated it first time I tried it, def better with seasoning etc.

On our way back from Brighton, had a lovely walk from the marina to the pier and back so just over 5k. Sun was setting over the pier it was beautiful! Unfortunately though we went as soon as I got in and had dinner and I didn't change my shoes turns out these boots were t made for walking! My feet are now 2 big blisters, ouch!

I'm going to sleep well tonight! So tired it feels like a Thursday or Friday!

I've not planned today very well, was too tired when I went to bed and now no idea what I'm doing!
Edited below as I've finally woken up and worked out my meal plan!

Breakfast porridge with an orange and grapes
Lunch pasta with 1/2hexa low low tomato puree and veg
Dinner sausage x3 (1.5syns) with mash and mixed veg.

I've been very tired this week as well, also think it feels more like a Thursday, I have running training tonight and a 5 mile race tomorrow night as well.... hopefully the rest of the week will go quite quickly.

Pictures look lovely :) hope your feet feel better today

Thanks hun. Your running sounds great! What sort of times do you get, For instance what's your 5k average?
We do a 5k walk at least once a week and want to start building it up gradually to a jog then a run. Need some proper running shoes this time as I roll my feet inwards quite drastically so need high support motion control ones or something. Any tips of good places to buy that are reasonably priced Donna? Don't want to spend a fortune.

It was such a beautiful evening, so still the sea was like glass. Very unusual for Brighton as usually you get blown away! We are hoping to be able to do the seafront walks more over the summer. Living where we are we are 30 mins away from worthing, Brighton, Littlehampton, and all the little seaside towns between them so spoilt for choice. X

If you run funny you're better off going to a shop like he runs she runs and they can tell you which trainers you need, ask them to show you the cheaper range... once you've found which shoes suit you then you can look on ebay and amazon for cheaper ones. I spent a fortune on mine, I went to sweatshop and wish I'd gone somewhere else, but at least now I know which shoes I need so I can get my next lot cheaper when I need new ones.

I'm not sure on what my times are, in training runs I run a lot slower, or do speed intervals and to be honest don't tend to time myself. I ran a 10k race on Sunday and have just got my official time which was 53 minutes 56 seconds (not 54 minutes at all lol)

Sounds amazing, def make the most of it. Will also be good to run along the beach once you start jogging/running as well :) our closest beach is an hour away.... boyfriends family live near the coast but I don't tend to get time to run when I'm visiting them, I also don't know the area so wouldn't feel too comfortable running by myself, so I'm very jealous.

I tend to go to Go Outdoors for walking boots, walking shoes as they are brill they help you fit them & it's no bother for them to keep trying different shoes. I think they do running shoes as well, but obviously not a large selection.

Glad you are enjoying being back on plan.

Re looking and not buying you can always say you need to have a think about it and thank them for their help. I wish I could get nate's feet measured and buy shoes elsewhere but he is such a pain even clark's in the city have 4 choices in their whole range for him. If you can get good shoes for less then go for it.
