Scarlett to target one day at a time

Ugh! I hate perfume headaches...lucky you're going out! xx

Mum was being a right snarky b*tch too when I said it was very strong. She was saying well when you don't use perfume each day, especially good quality decent ones you probably aren't used to it! This was before dropping in another comment about me getting cross with the girls yesterday. Well yes I did when one of them totally ignored my instructions pulled away from me and ran out into the car park! I know for a fact they are even worse for her and she does nothing so they need telling if what they are doing is dangerous.
Actually can't stand the woman. Roll on 14th June so I can hand in my notice!

I honestly don't blame you. You saw all the ranting on my diary when I was in a job I hated...it just eats away at you! This mum-boss sounds terrible and the last thing you need! Maybe make some enquiries about temping and see if it's an option? Never hurts to find out xx

Yeah I might do, I have an agency that contacts me pretty much every day looking for people to do shifts all over Sussex, usually nursery work but some nannying. Will look into it tonight as need to know what I'll be earning on average and as long as it covers the bills it's def worth considering I think.
When do you start your new job? X

It's always good to have a back-up plan in case it gets too much!

I start on Monday and I'm so excited! It feels like I've been off for ages, which has been fab, but I'm ready to get cracking now! xx

Sounds like you'll be better off doing temp to fill the gap if its worth it money wise. My boyfriend isn't happy where he works at the minute and its awful, it really does effect your whole life, luckily he has a new job in September, but I'm a firm believer if your not happy then get out if you can.

Lol. I'm the same! I'm going to work for Avios (used to be Air Miles) in their partner marketing team. I'm really excited, not least about the travel perks because they are owned by British Aiways! x

Aww that mum sounds awful :-( at least the end is in site even if u do have to stay till the end xx

Ah I hope the scan bran helps. I get the same toilet thing (except during hormonal bum), it is so frustrating. Now I'm less annoyed by it, it happens less.

A good quality perfume needs one spray. If two 4 year olds have been playing with lots of perfumes it will stink. Did she not worry they might spray themselves in the eye?! I cannot be the only person who thinks of that. That said I said I didn't like those princess drapes over children's beds, especially for babies and toddlers. Not just because of the allergens and respiratory problem potential, but the very real and obvious hanging/strangling possibility. My friend quickly took hers down. So maybe I'm more paranoid than most. Still, children and perfume has to be a nono.

How you restrain yourself from verbally slapping down the snotty cow I don't know. Would she rather her daughter be hit by q car?

She wants me to be a total pushover and rather than explain why she needs to listen and not run into the road she would rather just have a vice like grip on her and not bother teaching them road safety.

The thing that got me the most about the perfume was that she was also spraying them both with multiple sprays of each one! Met up with my friend and she nearly choked from the stink of them both, she just doesn't ever say no to them. I totally agree fran why add something unnecessary that is a potential hazard to them?

Morning was nice, went to library then to the park with my friend and her little boy, then for coffee and a snack for the children. I had a wafer about the size of a kit kat finger with without the choc round it you reckon 2 is a good guesstimate?

Thanks for the support girls, sometimes think I'm being unreasonable getting annoyed at mum boss but at least your comments help me see that it's not my problem it's hers! Xx

Oh my god, the boy (turned 13 yesterday) has just emerged from upstairs! When I asked why he wasn't at school (he left early to walk yesterday so I assumed that's why I didn't see him this morning!) he said he was feeling sick so his mum said he could stay at home. He then proceeded to get a massive slice of chocolate birthday cake and head back upstairs! Since easter he hasn't done a full week at school, I actually hope they get taken to court for his attendance cos it's beyond a joke! I feel like reporting them myself when I leave!

I wouldn't be able to resist reporting them! They're ruining that child's future!! Grr...x

Right sorry for the silence last night, went to Zumba and was exhausted afterwards. Well I was exhausted before but managed to drag myself there! Didn't eat before Zumba so when I got home I had my scrambled egg. Also bought a flapjack for 13 syns but as I hadn't had my second b I took 6 syns off for it (tweak possibly but it's only a one off) so 7 for the flapjack. Also had a spoon of choc cake I'll count 4, and the wafer for 2 so 13 total for yesterday /this week.

Today's plan-
Breakfast - magic porridge with a banana. Lunch- prob some pasta with veg and tinned toms
Dinner I have no idea. Mike is at football so the choice is all mine! Will see what I fancy later x
