Pulled pork is awesome. I ended up eating that bad boy for days as mum made loads. It was still great days later. So spicy yummyful. How were your bns chips?

It was nice, seemed a bit dry though, not sure why as it had loads of liquid to cook in? Still tasty though!
The wedges were good, I saw a tip on here the other day about slashing the skin and microwaving the bns for a few mins to make it easier to slice and get the skin off. Worked really well so will do it next time, did them nice and spicy! Yummy!
Good red day again, l had 2 ryvita with my lunch also so that's 4 syns, half a roll was 3syns. Might have an options with the rest of my hexa milk,to make it 9 for the day.

Yes you can get them in the fresh meat aisle in the supermarket. I just got a sainsburys basics pork shoulder. Was about £4 and has done one big meal tonight and will do at least another for the two of us. You def could also get if from butchers it will be more pricy, although you could ask them to remove the fat for you and then you would only be paying for the meat in the weight. Could also try the meat counter in the supermarket. I might do that next time!
I haven't really thought about it any more to be honest. It will be a bit hit and miss to get temp stuff and although it's a nice idea I couldn't guarantee what money I'd be getting each week so prob have to forget it.
It's only really another 3 weeks to work before giving my notice anyway as after this week I'm off for 2. Will grin and bear it I think!

I have one in the freezer which I got from asda on 3 for £10, it has some flavour on it, but thats all on a layer of fat which i'll be cutting off

No real idea about food for today!
Breakfast was porridge and a banana but felt sick ever since.

Ok ended up with cheese on toast so that's all my hex's gone but my last bit of milk. Didn't want anything else had an apple and banana today but superfree seriously lacking. Might do a veg stir fry tonight with some pulled pork over the veg, making it a red day. Had 2 pink wafers for 4 syns and a mini choc chip cookie for 2.5. So wasn't worth it.

Ffs, one thing after another today. Now just had a phone call from mum ***** saying despite them telling me next week and the following are 2 weeks holiday, as I haven't accrued the second week yet, rather than pay me then recoup any costs when I leave as usually happens they will now "lay me off" for the second week with statutory pay only so I'll now be £200 down for the week. Why could they not have told me this before?! They clearly don't realise I have bills to pay too. Honestly so angry I've been in tears 3 times so far today cos of her

what? surely they can't do that? you have resigned they cant lay you off! If I gave my notice in at work but had 2 weeks holiday booked at the end I would still be deserved that. I would fight that my dear. please dont let that horrible woman upset you (I know easier said than done) The only thing you can think is at least you are getting out of this and away from her. Keep smiling and def don't let that decision go without a fight xx
I have just read your post through again, so you haven't accrued that holiday yet? then maybe unfortunately you cant fight it, however they are being really really out of order with this. Can you not explain, I would say appeal to her softer side but it doesnt sound like she has one if I'm honest. Oh hun try not to cry however I do completely understand where you are coming from. Remember i'm here if you ever need to rant x

Its not laid off as in being made redundant, its laid off for a week because they can't provide me with work. The issue is that they've already told me I will be using two of my weeks holiday for it so I've worked out all my bill payments around this, now I'm going to be left £200 short at the end of the month when I need the most money!
I haven't yet handed in my notice, they don't know I'm leaving as I have to give 2weeks notice which will start on June 14th (if I last that long!)
She is seriously taking the piss
Just read your update, yes exactly, as I said though the issue is more that we agreed I would have it as holiday which would be fully paid. Just typical of them to wait till now to tell me rather then when I first started. If I'd known back then I could have made arrangements for it. Suppose the silver lining is that I won't now lose most of my final pay but will have to re work my whole payments to allow for the week after next..

What a dick! I'd call her the female version of a dick but a lot of people don't like the c word. she is one though! It's her holiday she's booked, and you are having to put up with all her decisions. urgh! I dunno how you put up with it!

Spent the last hour and a half since I got in re juggling all my finances for the next couple of months to make sure everything is covered. Just as well I keep it all in spreadsheets or it would be a nightmare to work out what to do.
Still very annoyed although the dad has stepped in and at least made it so I get paid for the bank holiday and earn enough to cover the week so I don't owe them anything. He was talking about their August holiday with me and how by then I will have enough accrued to cover it, couldn't help smiling inwardly.
They've fecked me around so much I will feel much less badly about leaving them in the lurch.

Now got mikes brother coming for dinner.. He is coming straight to ours from work as its the last leg of the play offs between crystal palace (mikes team) and their massive rivals Brighton. Whoever wins tonight goes to the final at wembley, whoever wins that match at wembley gets promoted to the premier league so there's loads riding on it. Its going to be a tense game with a lot of swearing taking place on my sofa! Anyway dinner, as he is coming mike wants a curry... I'm going to do a chicken curry and have lots of veg with it while the smelly boys eat naan bread and lots of rice I'd expect!

We're going to wembley!! Very exciting match! Palace won 2-0 so straight to the final at wembley on bank holiday Monday! Handy that's my second week off too mike is buying my ticket due to the money issue today, so excited been to loads of gigs at wembley stadium but never a football match, great to be a palace one! Need to get straight on the case in the morning! X
