Scarlett to target one day at a time

Hello!

I've recently started SW so been snooping round peoples diaries, lol. Aww, that pic of you snuggling with little baba is soooo cute. Sounds as if you're with a much nicer family now, I'm very happy for you! :)

Well done for the running - it's always so hard to start something like that from scratch, so you should defo be proud of your progress so far.

Here to subscribe & look forward to reading about your sucess!

Thanks fran :) was nice to see that number, was expecting it to be higher! Quite looking forward to running in the rain, must be mad lol!

H emmster thanks so much for dropping by and welcome, and thank you for your very kind words! How long have you been on sw for? My journey has been very stop start and have gone the most scenic route of all! Hopefully this is the one though, feeling positive and I think being happy at work has a lot to do with that :) Have you got a diary? X

Morning all, last night was a bit naughty food wise. Was so hungry and we ended up grabbing a pizza from tescos. Oops! Didn't drink though so somehow compensated. Still not good though!
Will write it off and carry on the week as normal. Today's plan
Breakfast - berries. Bacon, egg and tomato sandwiches hexb
Lunch pasta n sauce with pepper, onion courgette and salad
Dinner chicken peanut curry with 1/2 small naan and rice (need to check syns)

I've also taken a very scenic route. My first attempt at SW was about 4 years, & have tried a wide variety of diets since then... So am now back to SW, but kinda combining with 5:2 (which is where you try & stick to about 500 kcal for 2 days a week & eat normally the rest - so I'm doing SW for the 5 days but usually go over 105 syns a week).

I started a diary to try & keep me motivated & stick to plan, as I don't have a great track record for lasting very long on diets, lol.

I've dabbled in 5:2 very briefly before, just couldn't do the 500cal days I really struggled with hunger. As I'm a nanny I am on the go all day, plus eating with the children I don't want to be sat there eating very little or nothing at all on a fast day while they have their meals. The time i attempted it they kept asking why i only had a drink for lunch or a small salad so I soon gave up. I don't want to show any kind of negativity towards food in front of them. Sw is fab and I know it works for me if I stick to the rules, which is where I sometimes come unstuck!
Sounds like you've got a good balance and its great that it works for you. :)

I'll go and look for your diary now xx

Found you and subscribed emmster :)

Just back from weekly shop, had a quick flip through the clothes sale rack while I was in sainsburys, found a gorgeous pair of navy linen (but thick enough for autumn) trousers, plus 2 chunky (lucky i read this back, my ipad autocorrected this word into something quite racist! :/) knit jumpers and a bright red/pink soft knit jumper all for £30! Very smug with my purchases :)

Haven't had lunch, breakfast was late as had another lovely lazy lie in :) should be running today...totally lost my motivation with it after Tuesday. Know I need to just go and do it but easier said than done. I want to go but I don't if that makes sense? Prob not, I will try and go this afternoon.
Looking forward to dinner, not had peanut curry in a long time and it's one of my faves!

Think I will go running now to try and pull back some pizza damage and justify a few martinis tonight :) x

Well done on your run. It's always satisfying to see progress :)

Yeah, 5:2 is not a great diet for people looking after children. I think a little bit of my food / weight issue is that for as long as I can remember my mum was always doing some kind of diet when I was a child (obviously I can't blame it all on that or anything, & she wasn't obsessive or anything , it's just I can't remember ever not being concerned with my weight).

I just do an office job, & try & go for a little lunchtime walk when I can so hopefully most people don't notice when I skip lunch.

The traffic was awful tonight wasn't it! Poor you :( hope you're having a lovely chilled out evening now xx

Absolutely shattered! Quick recap of days food then off to shower and go to bed! Zzzzzzz

Breakfast hexb overnight oats made with fromage frais and berries
Lunch, totally off plan..mum boss had been shopping so as a "nice treat" got us crusty bread and buttered it with real butter! Had a piece (as there was no other option) with some ham and chicken slices and some veg sticks but tried to be good, quite a few syns right there though!
Dinner was my veg chilli that's couldn't be bothered to make last night, yummy! Used a can of green lentils, can of aduki beans, can of baked beans, can of tomatos, mushrooms, onion, pepper and courgettes with chilli powder and cumin. Really tasty and loads left to freeze. Glad we've both eaten it as I can imagine we will have enough wind to lift a kite soon enough! Sorry tmi haha!
I know I've had high syns today but massively craving chocolate so going to have an options to take to bed.

Wow what a morning! Mum boss went back to bed as either one or the other pickle was awake all night. Tag team continued with me! Settle one, other starts fussing settle them other one wakes and screams. All good fun! Plus just got a super cute pic of baby boy smiling at me so makes it all worth it!
Food today - weetabix hexb and banana breakfast with part hexa milk
Lunch chicken salad sandwich 6 syns for wholemeal bread, 3 for butter.
Dinner will be stir fry with chicken veg and noodles.
Running tonight then another early night as last night did wonders! X

Hey lovely! Life sounds exhausting but good fun at the moment! Food sounds good too - well done for staying on track as much as you have when things are so hectic. Major kudos for running tonight too xx

Duplicate post.

Thanks sarah hun, really feel focused this time. Hope it lasts! As for well done for running - I've not done it yet lol!
Think I may have a black eye tomorrow, 3 year old was pretending to tighten my arms and legs with his tools (they were loose..) and if that didn't work sawing them off and he smacked me square in the eye with a big plastic saw! Ouch! Bless him he looked so sorry and it was a complete accident he just got over excited but my god it hurt!
Planned another trip to Portsmouth with dad on Sunday to do a few of their guided tours and the bits we missed last time should be nice :)
