Scarlett to target one day at a time

Sounds like a lovely break! Even with that being a morning weigh it sounds like you've been doing brilliantly so far!

We'll get those lbs back off! Slinkers-back-in unite..! :D

Day 3 run under my belt. Did struggle with this one and didn't quite complete it all. Only did 7 run intervals rather than the 8 I should have done.
Went out with friends on Friday (not drinking) and went back to a friends place, where after a while they got lazy and were smoking in the house rather than going outside. I was fine for a bit but it started to affect my asthma after a while (they immediately stopped the smoking inside though) and had to do my inhalers quite a few times and think that is still affecting me as def struggled more with the breathing whilst running today. In hindsight I should have increased my steroid inhalers after that but didn't think to. Will do it from today till next run and hope it makes the difference. Next one is Tuesday and will be increasing the length of the run intervals (only by 30secs though).

Today's plan-
breakfast- banana, apple and a coffee. (Milk from 1/2 hexa)
Lunch - scrambled egg with 1/2 hexa cheese and tomatoes on toast hexb
Dinner - campfire stew and mixed mashed potatoes (normal and sweet mixed) 2 syns for sausages.

Yay for the good day hun. I'm having campfire stew tomorrow :) yum yum.

I hope your asthma feels better today. Blurg smoking. I would n't worry about doing 7, maybe do one more session of the current week before moving on to the next one? Just so you know you can do it. I found week 2 easier thsn week one. But I did it pretty early in my weightloss and it made me gain and I freaked out. To be honest though, running on an 18 stone frame wasn't going to be good for my joints anyway. I'm hoping to start up again next spring.

Thank you :) feeling so much better being back on plan. I love campfire stew, feels so naughty but its not :)

Yes feeling fine now thanks, I was up until I ran, just had to do a few puffs on my inhaler Friday night and felt a bit tight chested. That's a good idea think I will do day 3 again. It is a fab plan, amazing how quickly it builds your fitness.
Well done for giving it a go, I did that with the 30day shred first time, gained and stopped even though I knew why, silly really. Hoping starting the exercise and sw again on the same week means any gain will be canceled out by the water loss! Maybe wishful thinking though! You should def do it again, such a good feeling being able to actually run for more than 30 secs without feeling like I need to collapse!

Feels good to be back xx

Hello lovely, how are things? I'm getting back on plan as of today too after a very naughty birthday month! I'm super impressed with your C25K dedication - I really should start doing that again...xx

Good work with the C25K! My mum's just started it. Her partner is in Afghanistan at the moment and she wants to surprise him when he's next home by joining him for a run. It's really sweet! I tried doing it - and loved running - but it does my back in as I'm not supposed to do anything high impact. It's a shame because I love exercising outside (and if I'm running then people don't have long to stare at my bright red half-dead face) and it made me feel so free.

Fran's idea about redoing that day is a good one! I struggled to do all the repeats one week so I just stayed at that stage until I could do it without feeling like I was going to drop dead! It probably didn't help that I was doing it in that mini heatwave in the middle of the countryside surrounded by pollen... It was worth sticking at that stage though so I felt I'd actually achieved it otherwise I think I might have given up because I felt like a bit of a failure.

Hey sarah, I'm good thanks hun how are you? Need a big catch up on your diary! Just about having time to post here but not managed to catch up with everyone yet since being back. C25k is brill, just need to stick to it! Hope you get round to it again, have some running buddies to chat to!

Aww Emily that is cute! Bless her! How is she finding it? Shame you can't do it, when I did it first time I doubt I ever went quicker than a walking pace, just gently jogging at that place. Would that be any good to you or would that be too much on your back? Is exercise like swimming better for you? Aqua fit is great, supported by the water but jeez it can be hard work!

Not fully decided on my day yet..
Accidently had 2 hex bs but need to sit and think if I will syn the second one or count a red or green day. Only thing is I had a ham sandwich and a spoonful of pasta so ruggered up either one lol! I had less pasta than ham so I'm thinking maybe syn the pasta for a red day as it was only a dessert spoonful and keep on as a red day. Possibly a chicken omelette tonight. Sounds Bizzare but I'll make it nice! X

I would have been tempted if it wasn't the last one in the pack hehe ;)

I'm good today thanks, running again tomorrow so will find out then if my extra inhalers have done the trick. Seem fine doing normal stuff though so fingers crossed.
So excited for out little holiday, it's 6 and a bit weeks so hopefully that will go as quickly as the summer holidays have done. Can't believe it's back to school tomorrow, crazy!
How are you Hun? Dx

Ooh, so exciting though. The holiday not the wait. I've had a backwards summer as I only went back to work July 1st. I'm looking forward to Easter at the moment so nate will be at preschool. Then I will know term times again. It will make it quieter at your job, get a nice routine embedded though.

I like how it was the last one that stopped you. Ha. I'm ok, had a not great day at work but I did realize something that makes me feel better about what I did.

I have a wedding and the bride's friend is a sound engineer and he is operating the PA system. Given none of our PA operators will reply to me after 2 months of emails. But the church team said I should still charge them as they are using our stuff. They have already paid and I'm not making them pay. The money goes to the PA person, not to the church so equipment isnt the issue. But the main thing is that the last wedding didn't pay, the PA people did it for free, using church equipment. And it cant be one rule for one and another for others. It isnt fair. The situation would n't have arised if the bride's friend wasn't going to be doing it before I took on the job, and if the PA people actually responded to me. We have no one to do the PA. So screw 'em. I did the best I could. Stupid church people.

About to go for a run so weighed myself as I did before last Tuesdays run. 12st4.5! I was 12st12 last Tuesday night! 7.5lbs off! No way! Certainly don't feel or look like I've lost half a stone to reckon I must have been a right pig last Tuesday and been full of food when I weighed.
Goes to show the water loss and how much it can change from morn to eve! Back to my Thursday morning again now!
