I've fluffed it....d'oh :( still here but sucking at dukan since 2 day attack....house in uproar and my routine totally disrupted, I'm a creature of habit and not liking it one bit! xx
 
re start is always a bugger ...im a bit sceptical at dukan keepoing it off as we all keep coming back thats why im body trimming too as it seems more long term managable
 
The trouble is with lots of us returning oldies is that we've never managed to stick to Conso properly for the length of time required. I do know people who've gone through the entire programme to the end and have stabilised (ok not many because, alas, for people to get desperate enough to try a diet like Dukan, there are probably food behavioural issues going on too!!).

I didn't get to see Mouse at Christmas Tan. It's the first time in years I've been to my home town without sharing a (pious) black coffee with Mouse but she headed off to warmer climes for the holidays!

glad ( well not for the obvious reasons ) that were all back here , need to have the ones that kick you when you are struggling around .

It's easier for me to mess up Tan's diary rather than rake through looking for the other one, so will continue. Sorry!

Everyone's back, it seems - great stuff! All healthy, happy and motivated, I hope!

Glad the weekend is out of the way (daughter's birthday weekend with friends, galette des rois for 3 days running - don't even like pastry that much plus the gala dinner++ that I made). So, plumbers in yesterday, limited cooking - has been the story of my life for the past year! - but they are coming this afternoon for the last time to start up the heating system (hope the house won't blow up:p and that it works) and by the end of the week (please!) the whole house will be rearranged and I can focus on me again! Started the day with oatbran, fromage blanc and brambles. Tomato soup (no starch) for lunch with parmesan and bread and an egg or two then steak and green beans tonight.

Off to prepare for the school bingo, it's that time of the year again :sigh:.

my lad lost 3lb last week bless him and im not depriving him honest


weve all started a walk round the block at night takes around 30 mins one lot go one way and the others the other turning in to a race lol which cant be bad for the diet ...dogs getting a good run too



other half back working nights tomorrow so going to get my bed routine back to normal and the kids i go back to work on 10 day the kids in two and a bit weeks so go to get sorted !!
 
not a brilliant day to day been too lazy and have no food planning what so ever

making muffins tonight as i need to have some thing ready to grab not just boilked eggs and ive made some jelly so much for pp day that will be tuesday now for sure
 
made the maintainers famous yogurt cake tonight and go me i didnt eat the lot for a change lol
 
oooh I must have a go at that again myself (perhaps not first weekend on Dukan though - I'll keep that one up my sleeve for future desperation!) I keep telling myself how much sugar and cr*p I downed over the two week holiday period and that I'm now weaning myself off sweet things again!

You know that planning and more planning is the key to this darned diet! Even if you have a crazy morning in the kitchen and freeze loads of stuff in packages for you both. I'm so glad he's doing well too. It's not easy and hopefully he'll get lots of encouraging comments when school restarts.

Hang in there Tan... you know you want to!
 
its on here very far back in the dark corners of the dukan recipies !!! its got tolerated items in it and should be eaten over a few days ...Jo used to dispair of me as I would have a whole one for tea last time round :p



Jo .I do want to and im fighting every urge to binge , not because im hungry , its all in my head ...i didnt fancy anything "foodwise " tonight but made myself eat bolognaise or disaster would have loamed large round the corner !!!

yeah we are above Brisbane so well away from it ....we have to worry more about cyclones here lol


bodytrim seems ok im not brave enough to to the have a day of ect the girl at work who showed it to me does it and shes lost ok , but as an avid overeater im not sure if it will work !!!

PP day for me today, because yesterday I was too busy (ie not organised)! Got the basement just about done, bits and pieces to finish and get the rest of the toys/games down today. Am not doing strictly Dukan though - 0% hasn't been bought for ages, so I'm sticking to ss milk and 20% fromage blanc as that's what everyone else has.

Anyway food today

B - fromage blanc
L - chicken livers, steak
S - galette
D - chicken, fromage blanc

Weighed myself this morning and will again tomorrow morning (to see what the PP day does!) then it will be weigh-in on the first of each month as usual. Slowly but surely!

so end of week two and 3lb off ....not bad and im sure now it will slow to a crawl but im at least burning fat I would now say

I had a non dukanish meal friday night that a friend cooked Well it was dukan to her :/ just she just a curry sauce I did check the carbs which were not awful .....

so this week I am going to try and put in a good dukaan week ...will try to pp for 2 days and not go outside the dukan lists

must remember water , water , water
 
Good to read you, Laura, and you're so right not to return to Dukan 100% with such a small gain in Stabilisation. I too would love to be able to weigh myself each month only but I am down to three times a week which is a great improvement for me!

I'll have to see if I can dig out that yoghurt cake recipe... Obviously using the word "cake" lightly here!

so had a bad day yesterday ...tired cranky and not prepared ... been shopping today ..
On a good not DYls still losing and enjoying his leaflet round exercise for 50 $ a week cant be bad ......
im back to work next week and dreading it Im cutting one of my shifts after the first two weeks so that should help I hope ...

I actually enjoy full PP days... I really like that feeling of being overfull that I get! Can you get hold of salmon and prawns and things like that to liven up your PP days somewhat? I do remember your penchant for whole chickens though, so hope you still have plenty of that.

I haven't really been cooking recipes as such since I restarted, so I need to rectify that before I get bored with grilled this and dry fried that... not that I ever do get bored as I'm pretty ok with eating pretty much the same old stuff week in week out!

Hang in there... the thought of returning work is always worse than actually doing it!
