Cleogin great that your parents have noticed a difference, methinks you will need to get some figure hugging casual clothes so everyone will notice :) Hope your headaches better and good for you having a go even though you werent feeling too well. The balance ones can be a bit awkward lol but fun :)

Donzy hope your aches go down a bit, your doing really well doing both bells and c25k on one day and not cursing at cardio :)

Numnum wow fitting in a size 14 really happy for you. Hope you have fun with week 2 cardio, I am sure he gives you what you deserve lol

Gettingfit you have been pushing yourself with the bells, so not surprising its caught up with you lol, altho the 3rd set always got me :)

Rissole - a 7.5 wow you go girl :) hope you have a great time trying it out, I really like having a few weights to choose from depending on exercise or number of reps I want to get in, good luck!

Chick I have seen kettlebells in my tesco, its a superstore, they never have many normally 5kg, altho i noticed a 7.5 last week. Get those windmills in, and once you have the hang of it will give you some modified moves as well :)

Sue your doing great not getting some bruises, my legs were covered when I first started with all the knocks, so yuve got some good technique going

Just off the shelf. It was £20, a metal one dipped in vinyl, but I had £8.50 in tesco vouchers so I used them so that made it a bargain! Used it tonight on quite a few exercises, it was really nice being able to push myself and use a heavier weight but if it was too much I just swapped down!! Love it!
 
Rissole :) fantastic! What kind of moves do you like using the 7.5 for, I find swings and windmills is where I appreciate a heavier bell. Wow your doing so well

I got a bit carried away and did the week 3, resistance and then the core!! Mad I know! With the heavier I liked the swings, the squat presses, lawn mowers and alot of the core. Couldn't do the pass under your legs scissor kick things, or the hold it out front, pass to the left, right, centre and shoot thingy.. Lol can't believe I love it so much!! I've lost 7lbs in the last two weeks, but that was after a 9lb gain after 1 weeks all inclusive Spanish holiday!!
 
Rissole even bigger wow! Congrats on your weight loss :) 2 workouts with your 7.5, holding it away from your body for scissors, passes will be tough, but you will build up to it. Your kicking butt!

Wow I miss a day & it takes me a good hour to catch up with how fab you are all doing!!! I had a great day yesterday but hoping someone else has some pics of me as I spent most of it running after my 3 kids. I'm going to get my eldest to take a pic of me tomorrow though so I can post it here to show you ladies the difference a year has made for me :)

No swinging for me today but I did go for a 45 minute run (to hopefully run off the lovely completely off plan meal I had yesterday :eek:) which I enjoyed despite dripping in sweat by the end. Next week I'm starting B210k :eek: so will do it twice a week between my swinging ;) Week 2 resistance for me tomorrow which I think I enjoyed first time round
 
Morning morning wk 3 cardio done!!!

Confession time... Does anyone else do a silly dance when the start up music comes on? Or is it just me :)

Lol... I'm normally rushing to do my trainers up in time for it to start..... But will think of you now every time :)

Lol I do mine bare foot in my jimmy jams, there a scary thought!!!

Hi - just found I can log on from work!! Hopefully the liberal mention of swinging won't activate the porn filter!! :D

I look a complete sight when I do my swinging. Cut off clinging nylon shorts, a baggy top, purple ankle socks (I found my feet were sweating too much and sticking to my mat!!) and extra long bright orange wrist bands to stop the bell hurting my wrist. Just gorgeous!!!

Been waxing lyrical about the bells today at work and have lent the Intro DVD with wk1 cardio workout and the 5lb Baby Bell to my boss for her to have a go with. I love the Bells! It's mad. :eek:

Donzy, my scales moved today too but only by 0.5lb :(

Week 2 resistance done followed by fast abs & I was dripping by the end of it!!!! I'm really starting to enjoy the hip hop & crunch & actually if I do say so myself I'm getting quite good at it (I was rubbish in the beginning!!!) Also I have sold my York set to a friend who is going to give swinging a go. I never use them now so I'm going to save up & get a one of those heart rate monitor watches which I think would be good for both my swinging & my running so if any of you have any recommendations let me know.

P.S I should add that I loved week 2 resistance just as much 2nd time round even though I was swining 2.5 times the weight ;)

UGH!!! My darling daughter managed to lock us out of the house for the best part of 2 days ... needless to say my back on the wagon failed miserably as my mother doens't "do" healthy food! I also didn't have Mr.Cheesey to punish me like the norty swinger I am. :cry: These past 3-4 days have been a complete and utter wash out. BUT this is life and we have to deal with it ... I have 6 days to rectify it ... bring on the superfree!!

Glad you enjoyed your run and resistance, do you do the abs after all of them now? Hope your friend enjoys them :) I just started using my hrm again, its a good way to track progress - just dont bash it with your bell lol

Donzy lol i love doing my bells in my pjs at the weekend :) I always work out bare foot, even at class and have been known to have a bit of a boogie lol. Fantastic news on the weight loss

Gettingfit did you find any good sites or moves? booo scales! one legged moves are tricky, try gripping the floor with your toes. The key is core, once you are able to absorb the movement within your core the balance will come. I have some off days doing balancing, some days perfect, others its like i am drunk lol

Sue we want pics :) lol its a good job we can do this in the privacy of our homes! Hope your boss enjoys, you did warn her about cardio 1, or is this payback lol
