Secret to shaping up

That is sooooo fantastic Sue!!!! Congratulations, bet you feel on top of the world and deservedly so!!!! *hugs*

Well done sue. Yay for all the moving scales this week :)

Numnum welcome back :) hope you get some kip later!

I'm just on way home to have some lunch then get cardio 4 done and dusted! Need to wait until bf gets home with car as the prospect of carrying a 7.5 bell up the road and 64 stairs does not appeal to me today!!

Sue :) congrats on the weight loss, I am sure you will kick those 4lbs off in no time
Your 7.5 will add a higher calorie burn so try using it as much as you can

Have to agree about the forum, this is my first go at it and it's been fantastic

Kettlebells not such a secret now ;)

No real point to this post but because I have nothing better to do with my time (the basketfull of washing and the dishes dont count) I thought I would add a couple of pics of the offending critter .... it's a good job he's cute!

Hi Claire another week done :) have fun with cardio lol

Hey everyone, I'm really enjoying reading about your progress. I am on Week 3 of kettleworx, totally loving it. I find the 20 minutes goes really fast compared to other exercise (30-DayShred, I'm thinking of you here!) and I already think I would like to move up a few kgs for some of the exercises. At the moment I use a 5kg....money's a bit tight so I think I'll finish the programme on 5kg and then invest in a 7 or 8.

Can' t thank you all enough. Keep up the great work and if anyone has more progress pics, I'd love to see them. I took some at the start of the programme and will take some at the end too. I might put them up here if there's a difference. So far, I haven't noticed one really but then again, I'm hopeless with measuring tapes and so I don't really bother with that. Photos will hopefully tell a tale of transformation! x

Biggysmalls did you do shred! kudos that sounds so hard :)
Chick has some progress pics in her food diary, which you can definitely see inch loss
Really glad your enjoying, I knew Mr Cheesy was nicer than Jillian lol
I am sure there is a difference, hope you can post your before and after when the time comes
Keep swinging

A quick question ... We're off on holiday (woohoo) on the 15th October. I've worked out if I carry on with kettleworx I'll finish the programme 24th September. I've just worked out if I did it every after that I could squeeeeeze in another "6 week" course with one day off the day before we leave. Do you think I'd be daft doing it every day? I hate to leave things half finished and I'd be too scared to take my bells with me incase I break the lodge we're staying in, or flatten one of the pet ducks :giggle:

Can feel yesterday's cardio on me old muscles today. Still using the 5kg so haven't quite got to where a lot of you guys are but If I can feel it, it's working!!

Hey numnum I'm sure an expert will be along in a min, but it was my understanding that you need rest days as that's when ur body repairs/makes muscle. If u where set on completing it again I reckon you'd b better doing 2 a day with a day of rest inbetween (I couldnt do it though!).

In fact I'm about to do wk3 core if I can motivate myself to get out of bed :)

Hi Numnum
lots of fititude today :)
There is nothing stopping you from doing it every day, but it will depend on how your muscles are feeling. It is recommended to have a day off in between strength based exercises to give your muscles a chance to 'repair', but I think that most of us have done the bells daily, even if its a bit of freestyle on the days off :)
Where are you off to?
Good to see your planning ahead, and thinking of H&S for the ducks lol
We all have different fitness levels, so can never compare to how others are progressing, especially with the mini advenures of the Numnum family sometimes getting in the way ;)

Donzy you are so wise, and really funny too :)
Come on up and at 'em, we love core so you know its going to get you feeling good and its one of the easier of the 3 - most times anyway!

Thanks guys, I hadn't thought of doing 2 a day. I could do 1 in the morning and 1 before bed. (mmm smelly, sweaty mess!) That would get me finished in time with a week or 2 leeway so if I did feel puggled I could have another rest day ... I shalll ponder over this. Have another 4 weeks left anyway so I guess I should just see how I feel when I finish the first lot.

Going up to the North of Scotland. Not exactly a bikini beach holiday but I would still like to look my best for the millions of photo's the hubby will no doubt take :) The last time we went up there I had just had Summer so I was carrying a lot of baby weight and look HUGE in the photos! Also we'll no doubt be doing a lot of walking/hill walking so I'll end up wearing Ben in his sling (he's 20lbs+) and if our last walk is anything to go by Ben will be on my front and I'll be carrying one of the other littleys on my back/shoulders. I need to be buff and Arnie-esque for this experience :giggle:

Another numnum family adventure just waiting to happen :)
Carrying Ben is going to be a workout in itself, never mind another little one jumping on board!

Core 3 done! Anyone else find they end up moving down the living room doing the hip thrust and crunch, i'm light a slow train!!! Lol sounds like a breakfast cereal! X
