Serial dieter strikes again...

Thanks, ooh don't you worry, you have more than enough on your plate. How is your daughter?

Going to phone in today, she has moved ward and I don't know if that's good or bad. No scan as yet which I am annoyed at. They have had 2 different types of antibiotics and neither have made a blind bit of difference!
Fingers crossed for the weekend x

Hope it is good news for you. Enjoy the weekend with your additional member! X

Just about to have hairy dieters fruity rice salad for lunch, and have chilli salmon for tea with stir fry veg and noodles... Yummy! Feel so positive, and even more so now the scales are moving. Taken 10 days after VLCD but, worth it! Def new way of life for me :)

Lovely food filled day.... Dread the scales tomorrow :\ but roll on DD

Well, an expected gain after UD yesterday, this morning, back up to 11st4.5lb. Hopefully I can lose at least 2lb today. Half thinking about doing DDD's, anyone reading this do them? Do they find they lose more weight doing DDDs?

Right, I only just made it through today without caving in. Lesson learnt that an egg for breakfast, and another for lunch isn't enough, so after my we meal tonight I nibbled bit,but I did have 100cals left to eat. I just hope I haven't done too much damage as its difficult to tell when nibbling... Bit annoyed with myself tonight.

Try not to beat yourself up hun. It's all a bit of trial and error till you find what fits best for you

I'm gonna try and fit low carbs in with juddd and see how I go

Xxx

That's a good plan re low carb, I was thinking the same thing. Let me know how you do! I'm just praying for a loss tomorrow..

Definitely don't beat yourself up and, it seems, you didn't go over ...

I've found it easier not to eat on DDs until I really can't wait (BUT I have lots of tea and coffee and I don't count my milk).

Hope this helps

Milk is a funny thing... I seem to allow for 100ml skimmed on a DD, so 1 cup first thing and the other last thing. Interesting that you don't count, do you think it affects anything?

Guessing if I went over, it wouldn't be by much. I hope! Just annoying, as I go to pot when I'm at home, (day off today) when I'm at work, I can control things so much better.

Mrs

I work at home on a Friday and, by far, it's the hardest day of the week for me.

I say, do what you need to do. I usually 'eat' about 300 cals on a DD (being a big bowl of soup) and I'm more than happy with that.

I don't count my (skimmed) milk because a) life's too short and b) life's too short ;) ;)

Hey MrsG sounds like the weight is finally going back down, well done. 10 days is pretty good after a VLCD to turn it around so I'm sure you will see results pretty soon!

Snap!! I never count my milk in tea/coffee either - it's minimal and fat free so... Life is too short P /-D

Aww thanks everyone for your lovely replies. Have to say I'm not feeling too happy this morning as my weight didn't really go down after my DD yesterday.... I know, I know, I hear you shouting at me from here! It'll happen... I was just expecting my scales to be slightly less by now as I'm now 2 weeks in and haven't even lost a whole lb... In fact I'm a lb and a quarter heavier! Inspire me people, I need positivity today!

Just give the body a chance to adjust? It's just done a vlcd and is now doing an up day down day thing and is testing your resolve?
Don't look at others results, as that just makes life more difficult, just look to your own goals and successes to keep you going.
I believe it takes at least a month to 6 weeks before you can safely say you have tried this diet.
I am happy with this as I am near to my goals, I would like to lose some more before Christmas but there is no rush as I just want all my success so far to stay put!
I am bumping around the scales at the moment, I was happy when I saw the. Go down, they have gone back up and down like a yoyo and have never gone over the starting weight!
Hormones have a lot to answer for, NSV's will keep you going, measure those inches, drink your water and wait for the losses to come your way. They will!

Thank you :) I will give it another 2 weeks at least. I'm enjoying it and I'm not piling the weight on, so that's good.

I have planned tomorrows down day to a T. forward planning is the way forward!

Breakfast... Slim and save shake
Lunch....... WW soup
Tea....... Roast dinner without the meat, and mint sauce! Yum!

Pleased to report a good day today. I've survived so far on a slim and save bar, and am about to have veggies, gravy and mint sauce for tea (a personal favourite!). Strangely, I weighed in less again this morning, I seem to be weighing less after UDs... Does anyone else find this?

That's ace hun well done :) I'm gonna give fasting down days a go see how I go

Yea I'm normally less after a good high up day its weird LOL

Glad you had a better day x

Theres no rhyme or reason to the way weight goes up & down on this plan ,but it will go down eventually. Glad the DD went well, enjoy your UD tomorrow
