you are going to be my conso guru when this 13lbs shifts!!
ERG! Another lovely weekend... another disappointment on the scales... 10st 4.2
Again I slip with the alcohol over the weekend. Beers, wine and rum. Food was perfect, if a little salty (lots of seafood), but in general perfect. The alcohol is doing me in! In addition, I really didn't do too much exercise last week. I REALLY want to shake these last 4lbs.
Here's the plan:
1. Perfect eating
2. Daily exercise
3. No blooming alcohol!
The Boyfriend is coming next Friday, and I wanted to be in Consol for that weekend. It's unlikely that I will make it now, but let's cross out fingers for 10st 2lbs. I can do this, I know I can!!
I don't want to sound too negative, I really did have a lovely weekend of sunbathing and swimming, and we went to a great restaurant on Saturday night, where I wore my Favourite Dress It's by Stella Atal, a Ugandan Fashion Designer, and it hasn't fit for so long. One of my friends had a leaving party back in April and I urged her to wear it because, I just wanted to be able to look at it all night even if I couldn't squeeze my body into it! hehe! and now I can wear it!
Also, I ordered this Dukantastic Masterpiece, which I thought you might enjoy!
Squid, stuffed with Seafood. Yes. Delicious.

Okay, here comes another week!
Good Morning!! Erg! work is mega stressful, and everytime I get stressed, I just think about reaching for something to eat - it's really highlighting to me how I put on weight in the first place. But I'm identifying these cravings, and understanding that they are just cravings and not actual hunger, and so I've been able to keep things well under control. Today is also all about this tea: <img src="http://www.minimins.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=153767"/> I love being the office tea princess. Whenever anyone comes back from a business trip they always bring me weird and wonderful teas! this one is brilliant, strawberry cupcake flavour It's from France (Get on it Jo!) Otherwise, every outfit salvaged from my wardrobe from the "skinny" pile brings back memories. Today I'm wearing my "Star Trek" dress. It's just a 60's style dress from Tescos which I adore, with a strip across the middle like a Star Trek dress. I remember planning to wear it to the South African Freedom Day party at the embassy at the end of April last year, getting home and realising that it didn't even come close to doing up. Today it fits and I feel lovely. Still no scales, but I went to the gym yesterday and ran 10km this morning Will try to stay of the scales until Monday. I'm planning to be a bit of a hermit this weekend, but I have lots to sort out and many of my friends are away, so it will probably be good to not run around too much. My house guest leaves today too - I will really miss her, but I will certainly feel freer eating when not in company. I saw her eyeing up my plate of roast chicken, omelette and mustard last night with a puzzled look! Have a good day
