Sheridan's 100 day challenge!

Brilliant achievement Sheridan, well done x

Well don't know if going to go out to lunch with hubby now.

And if I don't then there isn't any point having an off-plan day really.
Hubby is mad at me because I made a joke as he is indicating he isn't feeling well - basically I just jokingly said 'convenient you always fall ill when we're supposed to go and do something together'.

I didn't mean it maliciously but literally he is always under the weather on the days when we've planned to go something, guess he is feeling sensitive. It has kind of out a downer on the day already but I'm not going any where with him if he is going to be stroppy - certainly not wasting a day and having a gain for an awkward lunch.

Will have to give it a few hours and see if he's cheered up and not feeling sick anymore...

So didn't go out to lunch today but it has been an off plan day.

Only really eaten half of most of what I've made or got for myself so at least I know my belly isn't going to be stretched at Christmas.

I'm just taking this as a relaxed day off and will be back on plan 100% tomorrow until Christmas Eve.

Feeling quite content with my progress at the moment and I'm confident I'll be hitting my goal of 3st lost (albeit by the end of January is more likely)

Hope everyone has had a good day. :)

Day 80/100

I've made good progress so far with my 100 day challenge. At my last weigh in on Tuesday (week 11), I was 6.8lbs away from 3 stone loss, which is my goal for my 100 day challenge. I had Wednesday off plan, and I'm sure I would have had a gain and come out of ketosis, but it's not a big deal, I've been very good this time of year and hopefully, I am about the same at week 12 weigh in on Tuesday. I'm undoubtedly will gain over Christmas, like everyone else lol.

I'm planning to have Christmas Eve, Day and Boxing Day off so that'll give me 18 days to lose the 6.8lbs plus any gain from over Christmas ( I know that this doesn't add up right but I am on pause if you will and I think I had more than a 100 days worth of packs so decided to extend to 13th January to allow for Christmas). If I can keep my gain to no more than 5lbs I think it'll be manageable. Though, there will more than likely be one or two more off plan days when I go to see my family - and I have a weekend planned away in London for a few days with my best friend which lucky is the day after I finish my 100 day challenge.

After which time, I am planning to buy another month's supply of Exante, probably will buy two months worth total atleast to carry on to the end of my journey hopefully. I dont have anything planned until March which is the hen do! By which time I'm hoping to have lost another 2st if it's possible. :)

Sounds like a plan Sheridan! I'm sure you can reach your mini goal 2. Haven't you already reached goal 3? I think your control is super. Do you find it hard after you've come off plan? Your losses have been super. Hope you're having a great day. No more study for a while so I hope you're fitting in some fun.

Thanks Angel, and no, I want to be a comfortable size 14 across a few brands - I know they all vary a lot but I think with another stone lost I will be a very comfortable and certain 14 in most things.

I'm having a stressful day, the gas meter has decided to break - it's a prepayment meter - and the gas supplier won't come out because it is outside and the door to the box is broken! But it has always been broken, so we called our landlord who came straight out and if he fixed the door you wouldn't be able to open it again because the concrete slabs in our front garden are blocking it! So it's ridiculous, it's down on the ground, in gravel, not very secure and not very accessible but they are saying we're not looking after it! Two young kids in the house and my husband suffers with hypothyroidism which makes him suffer very badly with cold weather!

Ugh!

Problems problems problems. :(

Oh Sheridan that's dreadful. It's totally up to the landlord to ensure maintenance isn't it? He can't leave you cold. I hope it gets sorted soon. X

Basically, the landlord is trying to help but physically the door can't be fixed. The gas supplier is just being awkward - even if the door was on again it wouldn't stop the meter being exposed to the elements. It is just poorly placed all together and this is considering they replaced the meter 8 months ago!

Right, well managed to get the gas supplier to come out and they have fixed the meter for now. How long it lasts I don't know.

They have said they will send out a surveyor to see about moving the meter to a better position where it won't break down every time the temperature drops.

Feeling pretty sickly today, can only assume it's the whole getting back into ketosis situation but it's not nice. Granted it seems pointless dieting 100% right now for these few days before I come off on Christmas Eve til Boxing Day but always seems pointless using these days to create potential extra gain.

If I am really struggling I will come off plan a day earlier on Tuesday after I've weighed in but I am hopefully I can stick with it, I want to be looking as slim as possible come Christmas Day. :)

Lets hope they get the meter put in a more suitable place, are there others in the street like that cos if so you can all get together and insist they do something about it.

I think its worth sticking to plan even if its only for a few days. We have much more control over ourselves that way x

Most people have theirs on the ground as well, so may go and ask if they have had problems.

It certainly is worth it, don't want to feel bloated or stretch my belly out (meaning more food can fit in!) - I weighed this morning and I appear to have lost any gain from Wednesday and an additional 0.4lbs :)

Going to be a good Christmas. :D

All still going well on the diet front for now, feeling positive and hoping that it will be beneficial giving myself the wiggle room so that come 31st December I will be no more than 11st 12lbs.

I'm excited for christmas now and just want it to arrive, will be good to celebrate and enjoy myself and then have it nicely tucked out the way for another year :)

You've smashed your Christmas goal Sheridan well done

which dress did you decide on for Christmas Day? What does your hubby say about the slimline you? I think your focus is amazing and very inspirational. I think it's harder to get back into ketosis everytime I try. Well done for persisting.

Have a a lovely Christmas and New Year. X

Thanks Angel! I'm super happy that I've managed to reach it. These few days on plan before Christmas Eve have definitely been beneficial - I have lost another 1.3lbs overnight!
Below is a photo of the dress I've decided to wear.

Hubby is happy that I am feeling happier - though he wishes I didn't talk about diet all day everyday haha.

It definitely feels harder each time to get into ketosis, and breaking it is never as satisfying as you hope it'll be. But I think have to be realistic and accept it will be mighty strange not to eat Christmas dinner and explaining why!

:)

Looking good Sheridan. Very nice cut to the dress.

The first time I did lighter life I stuck to it till boxing day, then had a mince pie & it all went belly up. no mince pies for me this year thats for certain x

Really Susie? That's a bit scary! I don't think I can hold out til Wednesday - seriously craving cheese and crackers - so will most likely weigh tomorrow morning and see how I feel after that.

Luckily I despise mince pies haha how much did you lose on lighter life if you don't mind me asking? :)

Pleased to say, had my week 12 weigh in this morning and I have lost 2.7lbs.

Pleased with that as it puts me very almost at 3lbs below my December target - hopefully I do not gain more than 5lbs over the Christmas eating so I will then have only 2lbs to lose before end of December.

Only 2 days to go! :)

So decided to come off plan from today.

I have had 500ml water and I made four hard boiled eggs just now to eat but got through two slowly and gave the rest to my daughter haha.

Just don't really feel like eating really actually, I did fancy some cheese this morning but it had gone funny, not sure why, was a brand new packet and everything!

So atleast it has been a good day food wise so far haha not wanted chocolate or anything naughty. Let's see where I am by tea time haha. :)
