Shrimp's journey!...and this time it's going to be a success

I have had a great day...Liv stayed over at a friends last night, so I rode out on my own this morning. Got back and mucked the horses out...then picked her up and we went skiing for part of the afternoon. I did have a kids happy meal of fish fingers at lunch time but thought it not too bad with all the exercise.

we have tried our Santa suits on ready for tomorrow....will take some photos for you to laugh at!

start of December tomorrow and this time last year I was nearly 2 stone heavier and with full sight, it's amazing what we can do in a year. Even though I have wobbled over the last few months and not got into the 9's at least I have maintained in the bottom 10's since August.

i really need to go for that final push to cross the line of the 9's.....

Yes it is good to look back and see where we came from I was 56 lbs heavier in May and as unfit as I could be. Today lighter and ran another 5k yesterday and knocked 3 minutes off my time. I am also 3 dress sizes down at least. We can't loose sight of the journey as a whole it's easy to get knocked down when it gets to be a struggle. Hope you have another great day today too x

Fiona and Shrimp - you 2 are an inspiration! I'm 26lb lighter than I was at the end of April but have messed around since August and have gained 5lb (on and off) since then. I'm going to try to make an effort up to Christmas and lose more but am definitely going to have a period of 100% TS in January. Am also going to start running again in the new year as I expect my leg will be fully healed by then!
Can't wait to see you in your Santa suit Shrimp. Good luck with the race! It's a lovely sunny day in Derbyshire. Hope it is up North too.

Back on the scales today...and the weight is creeping back on. So I need to sort it out...eating too many calories I.e. Chocolate and not running enough..

back on the treadmill tonight for 2.1 mile run.

Hi Shrimp. How are you doing? I hope you've put a halt to your weight gain! I haven't - I got a really nast shock when I got weighed this morning. I can't face doing TS at the moment so have gone back to My Fitness Pal and calorie counting today. January 1st will be the start of TS again for me. How's the running - are you getting your money's worth from your treadmill?
