Thanks lovely ladies! Ooo, I spot new readers, yay! I've had a lovely day with my friend, although it's been marred slightly by finding out that my mum's taken my dad down to the hospital because he's been getting pain down his arm through the night. They're doing tests and a scan but I haven't heard anything back from my mum yet. Fingers crossed it's nothing too serious, and maybe he'll get some answers today about what's going on :( xx

Friday 30th August (EE)


The food plan so far...

Breakfast:

Banana

Lunch:

My friend made egg fried for us (rice, peas, peppers, onions, beansprouts egg, chicken, small amount of hot dog sausage (2 syns), oil (half HexB))

Supper:

Cheese omelette
Baked beans
One slice bread and butter - half HexB + 2 syns
Ketchup - 1 syn

Snacks and drinks:

Apple
Shape yoghurt





Today's syns: 5

Total syns: 5

Syns remaining: 90/105

I've probably had too many eggs today, but I don't care! They're keeping my dad in at the hospital, so I'm going back with my mum now to take his stuff in so I needed something quick. He'd had his CT scan but hadn't had the results when mum left :(

Well they haven't given him the results of his CT scan, and when we got to the ward they'd taken him down for a chest x-ray. So no results yet. He's also in a really bad mood because he hadn't had a cigarette. He can be pretty much insufferable when he's not smoking. Aaarrrggghhh!!!

I know what you mean about the grumpiness... My OH was admitted a couple of years ago and was a bloody nightmare!

Saturday 31st August (Green)


The food plan so far...

Breakfast:

None as I was busy making my ragu for supper and packing my stuff to take back

Lunch:

Cheese, tomato and red onion omelette (another one, oops!) - HexA1
Bread and butter - HexB1 + 2 syns
Ketchup - 1 syn

Supper:

Pork and smoked paprika ragu (HexB2)
Spaghetti with a small amount of butter - 2 syns
Grated parmesan (HexA2)

Snacks and drinks:





Today's syns: 5

Total syns: 10

Syns remaining: 95/105

Afternoon ladies! Thank you all for your posts, it means a lot. We still haven't had any news, so we're hoping to find out what's going on when we go down for visiting at 2.30. Fingers crossed! It's just stressful waiting to hear xx

Ahh it is horrible not knowing and waiting but he should have seen a doc on their rounds this morning and should know more now.. Hope you're ok Sian xxx

Thanks hun. Yeah I'm ok, I just hate not knowing. Even if it's something bad we'd rather know and then you can come to terms with it. Hope you're having a lovely day :) xx

Just got back from the hospital. Still no results from the scans and x-ray, but he said he felt a lot stronger today after taking the steroids. He was definitely walking a lot better and his grip was better. I'm thinking that sometimes no news is good news...surely if it was something major he'd have been told by now? Although it is the weekend I suppose...

Hiya hun. My head's absolutely fine...I just have that feeling I drank too much, lol! I've got to shift myself back to Pembrokeshire today. Luckily I packed everything up yesterday otherwise I probably wouldn't be too impressed! Still no news about my dad...my stomach's in bits! :( xx
