:wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow:

well done lily your absolutly bloody fantastic:D

just a random thought if that didn't include poogate does that mean it could potentially have been a 20lber:bolt::8855::8855::8855::8855::8855::8855:

Thanks hun, I was trying to work that one out and it's a no I wouldn't have cos I got on the scales and had put on 10.5lb on wednesday I didn't go to class on Tuesday so therefore don't know what the scales at group would have said, had I gone to class I think it might have been, but I'm confused myself so not totally sure that's right lol
Actually the more I think about it the more I am thinking yeah it probably was....let's see if I can work this out....I usually weight Tuesday but weighed wednesday and was showing 10.5lb gain, had poohgate Thursday/Friday and weighed Friday and was 12.5lb down, so if I was 10.5lb up wednesday and 10lb down yesterday, I spose that could be true ....holy crap :giggle:
But then again that would be a false weight wouldn't it, so therefore I would still say no cos if it weren't for poohgate if that never happened I would almost definitely have lost 10lb over the last 2 weeks but cos I was ill and didn't go then had poohgate it's all confused and I am just making it a whole lot more confusing for me and everyone else ....let's just say it's like what came first the chicken or the egg, if you can work that out we might be able to work out poohgate too :8855: :8855: :8855: xxxxxx

So Positives for Wednesday 15th February 2012

1) Got up, feeling happy and raring to go.
2) Still excited about my massive loss and am right back in this game, going for 4lb this week to get me into the 18's :fingerscrossed:
3)Met my gorgeous little great niece today (who isn't well bless her), the pictures didn't do her any justice at all she is so adorable, the cutest little sweetheart ever, going back to see her again next week...won't keep me away now lol
4) Had a really good day, unbelieveably, with my sister, who was in top form and managed to actually get through the whole afternoon without putting me down once :woohoo: , and the new man in her life, who is not at all the type of man I saw her with but is nice and very funny...so good luck to her xx

:wow: my lovely twin 10Lb :wee: :wee: :wee: fantastic :D xxxxxxxxxx

Thank you sweetie, I can't even begin to fathom out how I managed that ..although technically it is over 2 weeks as I didn't go to class last week cos I was ill...but I don't care how it camer about, it did and that's what counts, now need that 4lb to put me in the 18's next week and lose a stone in 2 weeks :fingerscrossed: xxxxx:hug99:xxxxxx

Lily, I just have to say you are doing so well. I never think of things in pounds but just worked out your starting weight in stones and WOW! I'm sorry but I'm going to have to swear but that is just fekking amazing the work you've done so far and clearly you are full steam ahead to do a lot more. I don't know if you ever considered gastric band but it's so refreshing to read that you didn't. I have a couple of friends that have and they were miserable after the op even though they lots oodles of weight, they missed proper dinners.

Each to their own on however a person chooses to lose weight, be it an op, replacement etc. I was frowned upon for doing Atkins for two years but hey, I lost 3.5st and I was healthy with it and followed it to the letter ( bar wine ;-)) However, it is just fabulous seeing you do it a sensible healthy way and apologies if you have gone a medical route or anyone else who is reading this, I'm just going on watching my friends being miserable with it.

Anyway, I'll stop waffling now and I'll say it again as I didn't quite comprehend the amazing work you've done.

AWSOME!

Hey everyone, am so busy right now just haven't had a second to get on here and am just popping in now ...just on my way out the door, but just had to let you all know, excluding the 10.5lb gain through poohgate :giggle: I went to group last night and nearly feinted now don't forget poohgate won't be included in this as I didn't go to group last week but I only lost 10lb....10 frigging lb I nearly died I am so over the moon I am back on it big time :woohoo:...catch you all later guys :hug99: xxxx

OMG Lily, that's mind blowing!!! Fantastic loss :D

That settles it!!! I'm deffo moving in with you! :8855:

Aww thanks hun, no never had a gastric band or any other kind of op for my weight loss and would never ever even consider it....My best friend had a gastric band fitted and had tried for years to persuade me to do likewise..admittedly she lost 6.5st fairly easily, but 8 years on and she still struggles to eat foods and as you said can't eat properly, she has told me many times what she wouldn't give for a nice steak but the band won't let it....I just always knew this was the way for me, I just had to wait until my head and heart were totally in the game and to be honest having your 10 year old granddaughter standing in front of you crying and telling you she doesn't want you to die and all she wants is for you to take her to the park, is by far the biggest incentive anyone can ever have. Although my granddaughter is now 13 and wouldn't want me going anywhere within a mile of her and her friends it still keeps me going as I now realise I should have found the strength to do it a long time a go...but hey ho
, no crying over spilt milk eh xxx:hug99:xxx
OMG Lily, that's mind blowing!!! Fantastic loss :D

That settles it!!! I'm deffo moving in with you!

Lol thanks Corkey, cool I'll get you're room ready then :hug99: xxxxx

Pick me up on the way please

Lol gonna be a squeeze but as long as you and Corkey don't mind sharing, I am happy to have ya :hug99: xxxx

Love your positives Lily. So glad you finally got to see Lyla. :)

Do you still have the weans staying or have they gone back home?

Thanks hun, Lyla is just so adorable, but it did pee me off to see she had a stinking cold and that others weren't so thoughtful about staying away, her own grandad was sitting there with the flu...:argh: believe me you don't know how much I wanted to say I had missed out on a few things with my grandkids cos I won't go near them if I'm ill like that ...so selfish....but I digress, she was so worth the wait, so much more adorable in the flesh and so tiny awww.
The weans have mostly gone home, but Kia just won't leave I guess we'll have to kick her out Sunday Evening ready for school Monday morning, although I know she'll be gutted to go as it's her beloved granddad's birthday Monday.
Kia is a very loving little girl/tomboy but she is definitely 1000% a grandad's girl, she absolutely adores him, can't bare to be away from him and I have told her so many times....she can take him home with her :giggle: xxxxxxxx

So good morning lovelies, I can't believe how organised I am today...housework 90% done, dinner in the slow cooker, and even done an hours exercise with Kia this morning...we have laughed our socks off doing Just dance 3 this morning, there are definitely some impossible moves in there :8855:
Everything is just peachy in Lilyland :hug99: so have a good day lovelies xxxxxxxxxxxx

Loving the positives loving the food
And luvs you too Lily
Merry Thursday xx

WOW WOW WOW Lilly!!!

It's lovely hearing you being soooo positive!! Its very infectious!! :)

I agree with you on the tummy bands, it's not even crossed my mind!

Have a lovely weekend sweetie xxxx

Hi, congrats on your weightloss so far!

I've been on SW for 4 weeks (weigh in tonight eeek!), and enjoying it for the most part but I think i've hit that lazyness hump, where I've lost inspiration for yummy foods. I know that there are LOADS of foods I've just been struggling to think of an entire meal of complimantary foods you know?

Mind If I stick around for inspiration/motivation? Em xx

Great positives Lily, and fab looking menu's too. What a lot of water you drink! I only notice because I'm trying to drink more (I've never been good at it)

Yep -you put me to shame with all the water Lily! I must get my head around it!

So sorry little Lyla's poorly. Makes me mad too that people will go and visit when they are poorly and overwhelm her tiny little newborn immune system. Bless her - hope she's better soon and looking forward to see pics!

Kia sounds gorgeous. Re your sister - I am sooo glad I am an only child. Hope you don't let her ever put you down again.

It's mainly because of you and Mumma K I've decided not to go ahead with the gastric band process. My first consultation appointment is on Tuesday 21st and I am going to cancel it when I come off the internet. You 2 (and sorry if I've missed anyone else from your diary who's also had massive losses!) have shown that it is perfectly possible to lose the weight with sw in a natural, healthy way. Applekath's comments have also helped so big hugs to you all. Can't hug Mumma K in her diary as haven't got enough posts yet :giggle: so hope you don't mind me hugging her here!! :bighug: :bighug::bighug: Have a fab day! xxx

Loved the Poogate post Lily re: the 20lber made me proper chuckle...

Merry Thursday xx

:giggle:, poohgate ...thank god that ones over and done with, but I still can't work out whether I would have lost 20lb...too much for my old brain lol
Luv you too Kally, so glad we became friends your a lovely special person :hug99: xxxxx

Hi, congrats on your weightloss so far!

Hi HPP and :welcome2: to my diary, firstly hun, you are most welcome to stick around, come chat, give advice, ask for advice, moan, tell me off, do whatever takes your fancy, I am on a journey and I am taking it all on board so I am more than happy to be able to help with motivation or anything else you may need help with.
Do you stay to group or just weigh and go? As a big part of my motivation comes from my group, the support and ideas I get from them as well as what I get from my minimins friends really helps to keep me motivated, they are wonderful.
Another motivation for me is to set mini goals and join the many challenges on this site, I may not always reach my targets but I always give them a good try and that alone keeps me focused and motivated, along with the thought that I will and I keep telling myself everyday even on bad days, that I will reach my goal and soon :hug99: xxxx

Great positives Lily, and fab looking menu's too. What a lot of water you drink! I only notice because I'm trying to drink more (I've never been good at it)

I was the worlds worst for drinking water and even now I can stumble, but I have aty least 1 pint of water with every meal, it's the 1st thing I do when setting the table, mind you I can only drink water with tons of ice that really helps it to go down better and I always have at least 1 pint of water with every hours exercise done, plus I take water to bed, other than my 1 coffee in the morning and the off milky coffee ot options drink at night, I drink only water and nothing else...I suppose on average I drink 6-8 pints a day ....it makes me go loo so much more than any other fluid which helps with me not retaining water, so do try and find a way hun :hug99: xxxx
Yep -you put me to shame with all the water Lily! I must get my head around it!

You will hun xxx
So sorry little Lyla's poorly. Makes me mad too that people will go and visit when they are poorly and overwhelm her tiny little newborn immune system. Bless her - hope she's better soon and looking forward to see pics!

It so annoyed me last night, I stayed away for over 2 weeks, I almost felt like saying why did I bother, but I did because I actually care ...very annoying though :argh:

Kia sounds gorgeous. Re your sister - I am sooo glad I am an only child. Hope you don't let her ever put you down again.

Kia is adorable as are all my grandkids lol...my sister will always put me down, what I have done is to stop letting it affect me...she is a good person, just very jealous and competitive, mind you I thought with me losing so much weight it would spur her on to do the same ...not so far though, she's actually for the 1st time in my life, bigger than me lol shouldn't laugh but oh well xxxx

It's mainly because of you and Mumma K I've decided not to go ahead with the gastric band process. My first consultation appointment is on Tuesday 21st and I am going to cancel it when I come off the internet. Hunny I am so happy you have decided to ditch the gastric band, they have their place I suppose, but I would never ever go that route, especially now I've found SW and minimins, I am not perfect and I still have my good and bad days, but the biggest difference is definitely planning my meals, eating the right foods, varying my foods a lot and eating at regular set times and oh drinking lots more water and doing lots more exercise, all of which I once hated and now absolutely adore....I know lots of people have said it before, but if I can do it, so can you .....and finally the biggest thing to remember is it's not a race, it's a journey, a learning journey, so becky love, I am here for you every step of the way as are all the lovely people on mini's, ...oh one other thing I nearly forgot and it's actually the biggest change in me .....I forgive myself when I oversyn....in the old days I would blow one day and then think s0d it and blow the whole "diet", but now I blow 1 day and I am back on it 100%+ the next day :hug99: so keep on going sweetie, you can do it :bighug: xxxxxxxx

WOW WOW WOW Lilly!!!

It's lovely hearing you being soooo positive!! Its very infectious!! :)

I agree with you on the tummy bands, it's not even crossed my mind!

Have a lovely weekend sweetie xxxx

Hey Sugar, thank you so much hunni, it's you guys that really keep me motivated with your positiveness too.
Tummy bands are the devils work, I so wish my friend didn't have it done, silly thing is she has put weight back on...she may not be able to eat such things as steak etc, but she can always manage chocolate and mini rolls which are a big downfall...so it's been a waste of time really, she has told me on many occasions she regrets it.
You have a lovely weekend too hun, will pop into your dairy shortly :hug99: xxxx

Thanks so much Lily. Amen to everything you say! I'm getting there slowly - had a blow out Monday and Tuesday but back on plan since Wednesday and feeling good. I ,too, for so many years gave up whenever I went 'off my diet' - but I don't really think of sw as a 'diet' now - more a way of life that I'm going to do for the rest of my life to keep me healthy. Thank you for being there and thanks for the future when the hard times come and I'll need you even more!! :bighug: xxx
