Sick of carrying 2 hitch hikers about, so this is my diary

Good morning hun, I am exhausted lol, finally got to sleep at just gone 5 this morning and got woken by Chester barking at the postman at just gone 8, will definitely have to have a nap later my eyes are burning, but other than that I am good, hope you're doing ok x
I love chutney and I love making my own, don't really like the shop bought ones, like to create my own flavours and they are pretty easy to make, if you were closer to me i'd drop you a jar round to try lol xx

I wish :( I could then swap you reiki for chutney :D

I am having another tired day. Really must work. I've been into town to get medicine and got soaked. I got a taxi there and back as its heavy rain and charlie wanted her mummy. Taxi driver was fab he dropped me right outside the chemist and the lady in taxi office arranged a taxi to get me home asap as soon as I'd finished :) I don't do taxis but when I do I always use them as so lovely

I still have no meal planned whoops.

mind you I have just realised its just for me as they should be having mcdonalds tonight as I promised them. so easy enough to throw something together later.

Have a lovely day Lily xxxxx

Thanks muchly for the recipe Lily - I'm going to be a busy-but-well-fed bee this weekend making the chutney and your chicken dhansak - I'll let you know how it turns out :)

Hope you manage a nap after the late night, hate that when it happens to me. Were you buzzing from all the cooking activity or just one of those things? x

You're welcome hun, I hope you love them both as much as I do ....and that chutney would be wonderful with the curry on a popadom 2.5 syns + 1 syn for chutney, yummy. A normal night hun, I used to work nights 7-7 and It mucked my sleep patterns up (mind you I was always a bit of a night owl as a kid), then when I had my accident couldn't sleep cos of the pain which is now under control, but I think I have gotten in the habit of not sleeping more than 4 hours or so a night anyway xx

I know Northamptonshire is quite a big place, my brother lived in a gorgeous village called Hartwell for about 10 years....was right opposite a farm, used to love waking up to the fresh air and openess, so beats being stuck in London lol
If I remember rightly there was a huge market in Northampton and a massive shoe factory, he left there when I was 21 ..long time ago lol....that was a very random thing for me to say but I only just noticed it said the area where you live lol
I wish you did live close by cos you could have loads of it lol....go 6 big jars left (given 2 away this morning) and got loads more stewed apples in the freezer and I prefer making chutney to pies or crumbles.
I always made my own chutneys and pickles but after my accident that all went out the window, as I lose the weight I can stand longer and get about more so can do more and I am going to start making them all again...love it xx

Phew.. finally caught up on your diary.:D

So then, must remember fishcakes (drool) beef cobbler and chutney. Love chutney making.

You doing okay Lily? So pleased things are looking positive for DD1. ;)

And those pics of you at the award giving are so lovely. :D Look at your cheekbones. So lucky!

'C' has such a lovely kindly face. I can see why you like him. :) He looks as proud as punch watching you.

Eyes drooping and totally shattered tonight so will have to get some shut eye.
Catcha tomorrow. ;)

Hiya hun, nice to have you back, missed ya popping in...I love doing my pickle and chutney making too, really think I am going to go get the ingredients this week and do some serious pickling in time for xmas.
Aww schucks you say the sweetest things, I didn't even notice I had cheekbones till you pointed it out lol. I have a huge mirror built into the tiles at the bottom of the bath (previous owner must have been a poser lol), and I noticed the other day that I have a collar bone....didn't think I'd ever see the day when one of them jutted out on me lol
I told ya my C is God :angel09:, he is the loveliest sweetest man I know, very kind, very caring and says the sweetest things, really knows how to make a woman feel good about herself, his wife is a very very lucky lady (and if you heard him talk about her and he often does, you can hear how much he adores her and his kids too) ...even more so than my Malcy. 2 weeks after starting SW I was all for giving up, to me it wasn't working, and he stood out in the freezing cold November winds and ice in his shirt sleeves freezing his butt off and told me that he would support me and always be there if and when I needed him, and he always has..He has had some real tough times including losing a child last year, but he never lets anyone down (and it would be understandable if he did), unless he really has to, and for that I will always be grateful to him.
Those fishcakes are to die for hun, very very yum yum...I could eat them now, I fully understand why the kids were fighting over them lol if I hadn't been such a lady, I would have grabbed the little smashers and ran with them :8855:
Have a good sleep hun, hope all is well in your neck of the woods, sweet dreams xx

hola :)

can i hide in here?

Hola....hmmmm yes ok sit in the dusty corner no one ever goes there xx

Wow your consultant sounds fab :)

Blimey you've been busy - how many apples did you have?

You know the beef cobbler recipe. Do you cook the cheese scones then put them on the beef dish to cook again or do you put them on the dish raw and cook once. Hope that makes sense. Thought I'd get a reply quicker from you than Michelle cos she's got a lot going on at the moment.

its comfy in here :D

Good morning Lily and how are you today?

Your consultant sounds fantastic. How they should be :D

Hi Hun, sorry didn't get back to you earlier, have had a major headache all day and shut myself in the bedroom with curtains drawn, feel a bit better now, but it really has drained me so I don't think I'll stay long.
My consultant Clive is the best, I have through the years met a lot of them due to trying different diets and classes and I can honestly say he is the first one that actually made me feel I could do this and never failed to praise me, every single week (not just me either) and it makes me feel amazing, so now you know why he is God to me lol xx

Hi Tilly, Omg we had 3 massive buckets full lol, and would you believe that all I have left to show for my hard work is 3 jars of chutney and half an apple pie...and I have been good too only had a small amount of 1 of the crumbles, but gave one to my ultra skinny neighbour, the one who's apples they were and she said it was the best she had ever tasted (I made it exactly the way the recipe says on SW online forum lol ).
No hun, just roll the scones up and then flatten them as you would if you were making them to eat as actual scones and stick them on top. When they are golden and crispy, then they are done, hope you enjoy them as much as my lot did xx

*getting out her rent book...hmmm much longer and I'll have to start charging you :giggle:

lily when you decide to become a counseller i think you should move here so i can come to your group !!!!!

Aww that's very sweet Mandy. As it happens hubby and I are thinking of moving but not sure we want to go that far North, but if you fancy joining us half way say in Norfolk, you're on lol xx

Awww Lilly so sorry to hear you've had such a bad headache (((hugs))) hope you are feeling much better now. Think it will be a long night here. Charlie's throat is so sore she keeps sobbing  I am having to sit through a spongebob squarepants movie ....... shes glued to it, I hate it lol. xxxxx

Thanks hun, I feel a lot better ...tiredness I think, just feel really exhausted the last few days, I don't think it's been helped by Kelsi and Kia arguing constantly day in day out, I did an awful thing today but it had the desired effect as telling them off and making them sit on the naughty step and taking their treats away weren't working....I am embarrassed to say I gave them a knife each and said there you go get on with it...but they were so shocked it shut them up and they have been getting along beautifully ever since (after we had a little chat about why they argue so much and cleared the air).

Oh Jackie, poor little mite, hate when they are sick like that, don't you just feel so helpless.
Oh no not Spongebob...I hate it too and a few others as well...thankfully my grandkids like programmes I am ok with lol...like Scooby Doo...Kia the middle one is mad on him and has been for years, but then I don't really have the TV on when they are here as they spend so much time outside, as I said before we have a massive green where I live and there are lots of kids their age to play with, so they go out first thing, pop in for lunch, and then dinner and come in time for a shower and bed lol
Hope Charlie feels better soon and you can get some well earned rest xx

Evening Lily - just popping in to say I was a very happy bunny at teatime today, the dhansak and chutney turned out lovely.

Though I'm surprised at the amount of curry I ended up with - I halved the recipe as I'm the only one who'll eat it in the house and I still ended up with four huge portions - dunno if I did something wrong or if I'd bought mutant lentils that swelled up an unnatural amount lol

I'm knackered from the cooking though, the standing while chopping and stirring for hours really does take it out of you. The great food was worth it though :)

Bought more apples than I needed so I'll try out the SW crumble as a sunday treat tom'ow - thank you once again for the lovely grub help x

nooo-don't charge me rent :( i iz poor student :(

Hi hun, Glad you enjoyed the curry and chutney, which is really weird as this is the first time I have been on here since last night and that's exactly what we had for dinner today...very yummy...I forgot how big the portions were, so I doubled it cos I had 9 people here and I still have a massive bowl full left, same with the bombay potatoes, guess what's for lunch tomorrow lol xx

nooo-don't charge me rent :( i iz poor student :(

*Jeez the things I do for you, ok rent free for the student then :8855:
