Sick of carrying 2 hitch hikers about, so this is my diary

Kirsty and Mark just got in from a night out and I asked Mark to get something out for dinner tomorrow as they said they would cook, at which Kirsty piped up with, no let's go out to dinner tomorrow our treat cos you and dad have been so supportive the last few months with everything going on...awww kids I knew there was a reason i had them, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when they are happy and appreciative....now got to find a way to limit the damages, Mal and I decided to have a take away tonight as we were alone, I was good and stayed within my syns but tomorrow is 2 days off plan in a row ...oh well you know what s0d it, I always stick to plan and say no to 99% of everything, just for once I am going to go and enjoy it and take whatever comes, it's not like I am going to put the whole 12+st back on after 1 bad weekend ....is it? :giggle: xxxxxxxxx

Have a lovely time today. I think someones brainwashed our kids. It's like a slimpod that's telling them to take their parents out :D

I wish my lad was old enough to treat me once in a while lol Though I suppose he did bring me home 'dinner' that he made at school the other day :)

Enjoy the meal Lily, as you say the weight is not going to come back over 1 bad weekend - you know when to stop and go back to being sensible so you'll be 'reet :D xxxxx

Morning everyone...only just got that one in lol...had a really bad night with the cough, awake most of it, really fed up with it now, wish it would just p*ss off and leave me alone, chest is sore too. Just tried to put off the meal till next week, but Kirsty got all stroppy, so have agreed to go just to keep the peace, really not in the mood to have her stropping about, who knows a nice meal and a few bevvies (which will probably make me p*ssed as a parrot as I don't really drink...once ina blue moon :giggle: ) and I might be fine anyway, did put my foot down when she mentioned a local posh restaurant and said with the cough and all I'd sooner we just went to the local Harvester as it would be a lot more embarrassing if I were to cough my way through 3 courses of their finest lol and I got my own way :giggle: ...so now I have to go and colour my hair cos I'm not going out with Cruella de Vile hair lol, another coughing fit will ensue I have no doubt, due to the smell, but I suppose it'll be worth it....Kirsty had better appreciate a bit more what I do for her, so I am expecting one fabulous Christmas Pressie :8855:
Catch you all later have a fab day and I'll try and put pics up of said meal, tata for now :bighug: xxxxxxxx

well that was an emotional 10mins catching up on your diary and i love the new shiney :D
It doesn't matter how you lost the weight what matters is you did and still are. Its very inspiring Lily and you lot on here inspired me

have a lovely meal out, one weekend off in the grand scheme of things is nothing,
these changes we are making are for life and so we need to cut our selves some slack sometimes.

You have worked hard to take back your life, so have earned the right to enjoy living it xxxx

Hope you had a lovely evening Lily :) xxxx

Hi Mandy, you are so right and funnily enough I said exactly that to my daughter in the restaurant tonight. I had the most delicious meal tonight, I swear I have never tasted steak cooked that way before :wow: oh and we didn't go to the Harvester in the end, we set off for the Harvester and even got there, but it was jam packed as there was a huge party going on. So we ended up at our local Miller and Carter restaurant, now last time I went to this particular restaurant it was still a beefeater. So I have not been there since Miller and Carter bought it out. Let's just say we have agreed tonight to do this once a month from now on. Oh and I didn't hold back as such, I had the Baked Cheddar Mushrooms with Garlic Bread (left the bread) for starters which was to die for. Then my main was a 8oz Sirloin steak, medium rare and cooked to absolute perfection, just melted in my mouth and cos it's flame grilled so tasty too, that was served with Onion cake, which I did try but didn't really like that much, a jacket potato with sour cream which I asked to be put in a separate pot and a half iceberg lettuce with bacon and honey mustard dressing, which me and Kirsty shared, also had a mixed salad, no dressing and ended up only eating 1/2 the potato with about a teaspoon of sour cream. But I decided to have a dessert and had the lemon tart which was to die for with whipped cream (ate about a 1/3 of that) and a mixed fruit compote and then finished with a light hot chocolate. Had 2 jugs of water on the table during the meal, which me and Kirsty drank apart from one glass mark drank and also had a diet coke to start....perfect food, staff were lovely, really attentive and the price wasn't too bad either. Am happily full and very relaxed, and if I put on on Tuesday, so be it, I can get it off. Mind you I did say yesterday I can't possibly put 12st back on in one meal, it really feels like I tried lol xxxxxxxxxx

I just did a rough estimate of the syns in this meal from nutritional values I found on line and I would say it was between 30 and 40 for the entire meal...not as bad as I thought it might be xxxx

Mmn, sounds like a gorgeous meal - a brilliant idea making it a monthly event :)

It'll be a good excuse to get tarted up and show yourself off once in a while, have you been flashing that sexy waist again? lol

Went over my syns too but I'm feeling relaxed about it on the whole... do need to get my OH to hurry up and hide the scales though 'cause hopping will spoil it and bring on guilt

You had a night with Trevor yet? I'm off up to him shortly, poor bloke must be knackered every night with us lot to sort out :D xxxx

I love the idea of going out to eat at least once a month
it gives you something to look forward to as well Lily
as we all know this SW way of life is not a diet its a lifestyle
change and its a great idea to fit things in that you can maintain
to do even though you are losing weight
One day out of a whole month is more likely to enhance your weight loss too x

Hi everyone, just got back from the doctors, this cough has gotten worse and now have pain in the left side of my chest and shoulders. Seems I have pleurisy brought on by the cold and cos it's viral he wouldn't prescribe antibiotics, but has instead advised me to take ibuprofen and cough syrup, so I have my hot water bottle, Ribena, cough syrup and cough sweets and I am back to bed cos I had yet another bad nights sleep....knew I didn't want to go out last night, no more keeping the peace for me, having said that I did enjoy it...will catch you all later.
My sister is coming over to look after me aww bless her xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Aw no :( Hmn you should be wearing wellies, Billy Connolly says they keep pleurisy away ;)

Rest up as best you can Lily xxxxxx
