Hello lovelies, well I had a really bad nights sleep, awake till 6 and up at just gone 8...while my hands and feet look better they are itching like mad and antihistamines don't seem to be working today....I am itching everywhere and it's driving me insane...I am trying not to scratch, not always successfully, but instead have a cold damp flannel that I hold over the area that's itching, which at the moment doesn't seem to be much help, I also feel very hot ...if you saw how I am dressed you'd think it was middle of the summer and close on 30 degrees lol
I am gutted that my skin hasn't improved as I was supposed to be going to the Baby Show at Earls Court this weekend with my girls, Mal and Mark and now Kelsi is going in my place...I really thought that I would be able to do it this year, which is why we bought the tickets in advance, but alas even if my feet improve immensely by Saturday, I don't think they will be good enough to get around the show all day even if I bandaged them, so instead I am babysitting Jack my youngest grandson..oh well maybe next year, but would have been so nice to go with both girls being pregnant, that's not likely to happen again
Still enough about my bad times .....I seem to be the bearer of bad news all the time so time to lighten up me thinks !!!!
Yesterday's wi and loss of 3.5lbs has given me a good kick up the backside...I thought I'd had an awful week, (feeling sorry for myself) and had eaten chocolate and cake and lots more bread than norm, but when I look back it wasn't that bad and the rest of the time I had eaten really well and loads and I mean loads of veg and a lot less meat...so maybe that's the way forwards.....we aren't a huge meat eating family anyways....yes we eat meat almost everyday but in small quantities....between 4 of us, depending on what we are cooking we will have for instance, 2 or 3 breasts of chicken and 1 chop each, a biggish meat joint will do 2 to 3 meals and even sandwiches on top lol, so we have decided to start with just once a week have a meat free day and see how we get on, it's not because we don't like the taste or have any reasons for not eating meat other than it's more exciting trying out new vegs rather than eating the same meats over and over...so Sunday is our meat free day, Kirsty is cooking a Leek Lasagne and we have decided that every 4 weeks we will all take a turn at devising and making a meat free meal ...no meat substitutes like quorn or the likes either ...going to be interesting this lol
I am going to pop off now as I have a major amount of Baby Shower Planning to do, have just made the invites and am now ready to print and have started to order decorations and Kelly has sorted cupcakes, so now to planning the food...SW friendly of course...have a great day all...I will try and catch up as soon as I can TTFN xxx:hug99:xxx
