Thanks Gill but there's no getting over the fact that this weekend was a disaster and I'm only putting a line under it from today, when I feel slightly queesy!! I did have my dinner out on Saturday as, sort of, planned. Mussels, bread, chargrilled tuna steak with triple cooked chips and some sort of posh deconstructed lemon meringue thingy. V nice. Washed down with loads and loads of sweet, calorific boozy drinks like mulled ginger cider (?). Yesterday, hungover, wasted all the lovely sunny day lying around with dog then somehow managed to eat a pack of Scampi Fries (who even eats those?) whilst I was forced to watch football at the pub and then, the really bad one, a KFC when I got back to Essex as it was late and I was tired and lazy and should have just gone home but then Boo said "oh let's get a KFC". They have the calories content on the menu now - Christ Almighty. Over 1000 calories for a Fillet Tower meal. Still ordered it though.
So from today it's water all the way and Exante packs only. I feel really ill. I don't think KFCs are particularly good for you and if I'm going to eat they are really not the best choice as I have had very little nutrition over the weekend added to the consumption of alcohol. I couldn't get up this morning.
Now instead of being worried I won't be 9 and a half on Thursday I need to be more concerned about having put weight ON. Oh scales, please be a nice birthday weight - even a STS will do!!!! I did still get into the jeans this morning so that's something.
One solution to the baking problem is that I have started to cook dog cakes instead. No chance of licking the bowl out after making beef, carrot and parsley muffins!! xx
