Skulldilocks Food diary

Dulcolax r really good. That's wot I used initially but seem to be ok now unless I go completely off plan!!!

Thanks my other half picked me up some Senokot. I hate taking these kind of things as I suffer with pretty bad IBS but these are herbal so hopefully they won't be an issue. Took them last night, so awaiting haha! X

Well, 5lbs on was pretty dramatic but I know where I went wrong and like I said, I think a lot of this is due to being bunged up so we'll see what happens. Like Rochelle said, maybe I needed this big gain to get me back onto better losses again. Either way, I could still reach target by the new year and so I'm still going to push for this. I'm up in London both Saturday and Sunday but I've made food plans and Subway salads will be had. No booze will be hardest this week but I won't let it deter me. Anyway, this week's food is a bit repetitive but trying to budget til pay day and keep on track with batches so I have no excuses. I also must confess, I've never measured my milk out unless I'm using it for cereal. I've discovered that the Systema bottle that comes with the lunchbox holds exactly 300ml, so I'm taking this to work now. Think I've actually been having less than I can have so more tea! :D

Popped into sub - sounds like the gain has given you a kick up the backside! I hope your other *ahem* backside issues *ahem* get sorted out quickly ;)

Apparently that can make 2-3lb of a difference!!xx

Haha, so far so good! ;) I know its all rather vulgar but I don't care, I totally blame it for the gain! My Consultant said the Christmas Hifis are stupidly high in fibre, so going to get them out too bahahah! X

Oh god, I've been eating the Christmas hifis every day and noticed not going as much! That's bloody why!

That 5lb gain is huge :( but probably most of it is from the constipation. Huge gain always followed by huge loss if you stick to plan this week! Xx

Yes apparently they can have a similar affect to scan bran, amazing unless you don't drink enough water which I admittedly slacked on last week! Indeed, that's why im not too upset and hoping to get it all off next week :) can still get to target by 2014 if I stick to it x

Good job my groups out of them this week lol to give me a break! I am missing them though :( I don't drink enough water. I'm good in the summer, but then I slack when the weather gets colder. Trying to drink lots of those twinings flavoured teas x

Oh my, I am SO BORED at work. Its dead in here and I still have nearly 2 hours left. I'm also really hungry, should've bought some syns to snack on as I haven't had any or planned any. Going to mums for dinner and I've asked for chilli. Will be hard to resist the rice but hopefully she'll give me a nice portion of the chilli and have some salad lying around. I think on the way home I'll quickly run into Boots to get some low syn treats for this evening, as not going out and just going to stay up at the parents for a bit.
Didn't end up going to Curves yesterday as I had to go pick up a parcel from the post office, however the walking took about 40 mins so balanced out. Won't have a chance to go tonight either, and its not open late so walking to mum's for Body magic. x

How's your weekend been Skulldilocks?

Finally made myself a SF soup and worked out on MFP that it works out 100 cal per portion- bet if I had a meal of that each day for a week it would boost my slow as hell losses from recently! Went on a bit of a bender this weekend so not looking forward to tomorrows WI lol. Hope you're having a good'un x

I have completely lost the plot. I'm absolutely disgusted in myself. I look horrendous in everything again. I bought a gorgeous Halloween dress for this weekend and I'm going to look gross unless I suck myselfin with a corset. I'm so angry as I have no excuse. A few weeks of crap losses and a huge gain and this week is another big gain, I feel like I've lost faith. I've wasted so much money on bad food, SW itself and now Curves which I haven't been to in a week.

This weekend was in London and even though I stuck to my guns and didn't drink, I enjoyed myself with everything else. Burger King, Subway, large bars of Cadburys, a ****ing cheeseburger crust pizza with sides. There is absolutely no need. I don't get it. I've ruined everything and I'm now back in the 14's something I was over 10lbs away from at the start of summer. I wanted to be at target by Xmas (12st) but there is absolutely no chance. I'm planning on going to Tesco tonight, getting some fruit, making some soup and then going to Curves. Making a food plan. Treating myself to a bath, face mask and nail painting session to calm me down. I just don't know what to do :'(

I'm so sorry that you feel so rubbish about it all :( but they do say- what goes on fast, comes off fast!

I had a couple of weeks off plan on holiday over the summer where I managed to lose a pound (wtf!? Was slow for me though as I'd been losing 2-3lbs a week) but was eating junk and walking LOTS- when I got back on plan at home I dropped half a stone in 10 days because my body was shocked back into it and the bloating and water weight from junk came off- So don't lose hope! Get that soup rolling, don't restrict yourself or it'll be harder- just get on the superfree again! Target by xmas is still doable :) give yourself a couple of weeks and I'm sure most of what you gained will fall right off. Most of it is probably bloating etc anyway.
On the other diaries I've followed on here, people have gained 7 lbs in a week and lost in by the next, so fingers are crossed that you can have such luck! But first thing's first- get into the right mentality. Don't scrap your xmas goal, it IS doable- don't let this gain get you down as it'll be gone sooner than you think if you can be brave and stick to plan! And get your fine ass to curves, take out all your anger on the work out, you'll feel way better!

P.S well done for not drinking- think about how many calories you saved there!

x

Chin up and keep smiling! There's no point beating yourself up about it, it's done now. I think the couple of weeks where you really tried and didn't get big results, had made you rebel against it all. But I have faith in you! Plan yourself some lovely food and get yourself to curves. It'll make you feel loads better x

Thanks lovely. Seeing your progress pictures was such an inspiration! Just found mine from a few months ago and I'd kill to be back at where I'd got to, so annoying! lol x

You will get back to it though! You do so well when on plan. And I'm pretty sure the couple of weeks you were disappointed with were probably your body getting used to exercise again. You need to give it a few weeks chance xx

Hey hun,

Sorry to hear you're feeling so rubbish :( I echo what Rochelle & Tetris say - you can & will get back on plan, & you'll repeat the sucesses you've had in the past. I know it can be so frustrating when you're so good yet seem to get nowhere, or when you just get so fed up & think what's the point? I've been there more times than I can remember! But I know you can pick yourself up & start from where you left. It's annoying when the journey takes forever & is roundabout, but in a way I think it'll make it much more of an achievement when you do reach goal.

Best of luck, you certainly deserve some at the minute.

X

Thanks everyone.
I posted this to my SW group's FB page as well and got some good responses. I'm glad I did as now I have to go to group tomorrow and I was seriously planning on bailing. I think I'm going to ask someone to cover the shop so I can sit in on the new member's group. I bought a 12 week countdown last week so maybe I can see this 12 weeks to Xmas as if I'm starting again.
I'm not going to say I'm back on the wagon and jinx it but I've planned for today rather than waiting til weigh in to try.

Despite starting the morning badly by covering myself and the kitchen with burning hot soup, I walked to work in the rain, something I'd got lazy with and had started getting the bus. Its a 1.5 mile walk so to and from work is 3 miles. Breakfast and lunch are prepped and the OH will be prepping dinner. I'm going to go to Curves, as I didn't make it there yesterday. I went to Lidl last night instead and wow! Why haven't I been there before?!Such good bargains.

Anyway going to keep it simple this week, have done a food plan and hopefully I can stick to it.

Tuesday EE day:

Breakfast:
Banana (SF)
Mullerlight cranberry and raspberry
1x Tea with dash of SS milk (1) and sweetener

Lunch:
Vegetable soup - Swede (S/SF), Potato, Carrot (SF/S), Red onion (SF/S), Chilli (SF/S)
2x slices wholemeal bread (HEX B)
Apple (SF/S)

Satsuma (SF/S)

Dinner:
WW Wrap (5.5) pizza with cheese (HEX A), tom puree (SF/S), onions (SF/S), peppers (SF/S), mushrooms (SF/S), jalapenos (SF/S)
Roasted red pepper (SF/S)
Salad leaves (SF/S)
2 tbsp. Lighter than Light Mayo (1)

Total syns: 7.5

Food looking lovely Lil - glad you're feeling better about the whole thing. It's rubbish when you feel down and horrible about yourself and the plan but you are where you are and you can only take it one mouthful, meal and day at a time.

I think going to group and sitting in on the new member talk is a great idea too. If I can do anything to help at all, let me know :) I know sometimes when I feel demotivated I just need someone to put the meal ideas in my head or give me a kick up the bum! x
