Skulldilocks' Slimming World Diary Part II

Wowzers, fab loss last night!! Well done lovely xx

Thanks guys! Was very happy, especially considering I didn't end up doing any body magic, and had 3 days on the sofa being ill. Its helped restored my faith in the true back to basics of the plan that's for sure! By that I mean that I started getting scared of carbs thanks to my previous problems with food, so having some supernoodles as a snack seemed blasphemous. This week I had a Nandos and then had that as my dinner later on and alas, a big loss still. I'm hoping for at least 2lbs next week so that I get my half stone award and I'm hoping that by starting the body magic I can achieve that. My only sabotage this week is star week which is likely to rear its ugly head between now and Monday! Not going to let this get in my head too much though and start avoiding things. So here's to another good week!

Well up in til now I have been 100% on plan but in a way I guess that's because I haven't had any particular barriers from doing so. I'm doing Dryathlon but I'm so skint that I physically can't afford to go out anyway, All the food in the house is either free food or syns are hidden from me so that I can't binge. However today the first challenge of the year has appeared.
Its Friday, which in our office means cake/doughnut day more often than not. And lo and behold, I walk in to a giant, mouth watering homemade chocolate cake! Even better, I bloody forgot my syn treats for the day so I haven't got anything to steer me clear. Going to have to have some serious willpower as I'll tell myself I'll have a slither and it'll turn into a chunk and I have no idea of the syn value. Pray for me Minimins haha!

In other news I actually went to the gym last night! Nothing major at all - 15 mins rowing, 15 mins cross trainer and a 30 min walk home. Going to do the same again tonight :)

NSV *proud face* The chocolate cake is no longer an issue for me I have just demolished the baked beast and am stuffed! I sense star week is here though and the choc cravings are still there, so I went out and bought a Fudge so I can enjoy some chocolate and be in control :)

Aww work is evil! Why can't everyone just be healthy eating? Lol there's roses and foxes biscuits at my work :(

well done for getting back to the gym! I noticed on IG :) you might think what you did wasn't major but everything counts! It's better than sitting on the couch watching tv isn't it x

yeah true :) Plus even though SW says any body magic is good (even like just lifting cans infront of the telly lol) at least at the gym I'm genuinely getting my heart racing, even if it is a short period of time. :)

Well done on your NSV over the chocolate cake! Oh & also going to the gym. It's soooo hard to resist office goodies, so just shows how motivated & determined you are :)

X

Happy weekend all! Unfortunately for me star week started yesterday so I'm feeling rubbish! Dosed up on pain killers and trying to drink as much fluid as poss to avoid the bloat. Gotta pop to Tesco in a bit and avoid the chocolate cravings I have, hopefully I can be as successful as yesterday! Aww, cute. So does he live in the house (rather than garden). My old neighbours had a tortoise, bit it always stayed in their garden.

X
Yeah he's far to small to go outside and because he's always lived indoors he can stay indoors now he's used to the climate. He's the size of my hand so he lives in a pen with heat lamps and everything. Literally such a great pet, quiet, easy to maintain and cant chew things up :p xx

Well after being excited.for my Yoo Moo all day I was.really disappointed. Didn't hit the choc fix I needed and tasted really chemically :( ah well hot choc later should do the trick

What's a Yoo Moo?? Shame it was a disappointment - hate it when that happens :(

It's a brand of frozen yoghurt that does tempting Flavours.they come in a small tub but after this I will use 10 syns on the same amount of nice ice cream lol, this one was choc and vanilla with brownie bits
