Cheese and mushroom omelette for breakfast, got day off work as it is daughters birthday party this evening ,please think of me later as there will be seventy 13-14 year olds coming!!
About to go and pick up some disco lights that we have hired, then off to get last bits and pieces, think I might need a bottle or two for afterwards!

Hello all, well I survived, it was a wonderful night but don't think I will do it again, such a responsibility trying to keep an eye on everyone! They all seemed to enjoy it though , thank goodness !

Evening all
Hope everyone has had a good weekend, food a bit all over the place today, just no interest in thinking about meals or cooking so had prawn stir fry, bit of a strange Sunday dinner! Need to do a big food shop tomorrow after work and hopefully that will give me some motivation!
Getting ready for downtown abbey which I have to say is all a bit predictable but easy watching for a Sunday evening.

I can't believe you had 70 kids round!!

I hope you enjoyed downton abbey - I have never watched it but may download it on iTunes and watch it over Christmas as heard it is very good.

Hi Jane and all, I hired the church hall for party couldn't cope with 7 in my house yet alone 70!!
Downtown was ok ( maggie smith makes it!) but think I like The Paradise on Tuesday evenings more.
B 2 quorn rashers, 2 mushrooms, scrambled egg and dollop of mayo
Not sure about food for rest of the day, need to do good shop after work as the cupboards are looking very bare!

Oh I will check out Paradise on Catch up. Haven't heard of that.

I meant to say I made broccoli and cheddar soup yesterday and it was lush! I added some leftover cooked chicken too.
Plenty left for today too. Thanks for the idea x

I like The Paradise too - and agree Sandra, Downton is becoming very predictable - still good to watch though, like a comfy pair of slippers
