Haha, i think you're both right, talking to yourself on this forum is certainly something i've done on many occasion. bloody great news about the bread...just dont know what to eat now. im starving...hmmmm.

ok for my evening meal i made a salad with the left over tuna with lots of spinach, cucumber, tomato, red pepper, celery, a bit of avocado, sweet corn and onion with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing - can't believe how many calories in olive oil!!

anyway i weighed and measured and calculated it as 347.8 cals. and very filling it was too.

im going to bring it up to 350 to account for any mistakes, that kind of thing.

looking good elle. what are you wanting to keep your daily totals to? careful you don't keep it too low or your body will hit starvation. did you say 1000 or 1200 or something?

thanks aaaaaaaaaaaaabz :) erm well yesterday i ended up eating 964.1 calories, which, as i said on tyn's thread, is a bit below what i was aiming for BUT it seems to have done the job as the scales have gone down already. and i wasn't hungry or overtired or anything. my plan is to careful watch my progress through out the week, perhaps keep it between 900-1100 cals for a kickstart and then move up to 1200 next week which, according to weightlossresources is where i should be to lose 2lb a week.

what do we think, am i being stupid? xx
 
ok, well so far today i've had 50g of cereal at 186.6 cals, an apple at 47 cals, a roasted roots and cranberries sandwich at 289 cals, a bag of carrot snacks at 28 cals and a coke zero at 1 cal.
altogether that's 551.6 cals...more than i'd had at this point yesterday. only thing is though, ive been more hungry today, possibly something to do with being at work lol.

ha. how about getting some cereal like special k? i lurve special k. especially the red berries one (and i don't usually like the dried fruit stuff in those things) which might have lower cals?? but you do have about half of your cals left for this evening remember :) and that looks about right to me. half cals on brekkie and lunch and other half for dinner and evening snack :)

lol abz...funnily enough it is red berry special k that i eat of a morning. I decided i fancied some soup & bread this evening so i have carrot & coriander or country vegetable to choose from - went and bought the nice fresh ones from sainsburys during my lunch break. so i reckon ill be able to keep it to round 1100 no problem :D x
 
right i've just added 35 cals worth of pineapple to my calorie intake. i'm absolutely starving, can't believe sitting in front of a comp all day and having an hour's break in a mall can make you need so much food!!

now on 586.6 cals for the day xxx
 
p.s. red sky at night, shepherd's delight... the sky is soooo pretty outside my window. x
 
right, i had carrot and coriander soup with 2 slices of bread and 4 gherkins hahaha and im eating a yoghurt.

so, the soup & bread were 278 plus the 4 gherkins at 7 cals each, that's 306. my yoghurt is 48 cals, making 354 cals tonight. oh yeh, 35 cals in the pineapple i ate. 389 cals...

so altogether 389+

Think i shall have a tasty options hot choc in a short while :) that should take me to around 1009.6 cals.

oops no, already added my pineapple. so take away 35 cals. 945.6, then add the 34 on haha 974.6 cals.
 
I had a tomato before i went to bed so i reckon yes, just about lol. x
 
ha. well at least you aren't struggling to keep your calories DOWN. hee. and it's probable that with home made things it isn't exactly accurate anyways so it's best to have a wee bit of leeway.

how are the scales behaving?
