I've never had Matzo, but they look really nice. What's the closest thing to their taste?

The play sounds really weird, but quite interesting. I'm reading The One Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out Of A Window And Disappeared. I'd recommend it to everyone! From the very first page it's had me chuckling. Really enjoying it! And it's set in Sweden, so it's helping my Scandinavian withdrawal ;)

Hope today isn't too difficult or stressful food wise. And you get some nice shots of the little girl :)

Glad you had lolz at my SW munchies :p would you believe I actually thought the carrot stick dipped into yoghurt idea was actually a good one at the time? "Yeah... This isn't bad!" but it really, really was.

Matzo is unleavened bread that people have at passover (have never celebrated/experienced passover myself though!)
It's sort of like a cracker but thinner and drier- crunchier. I love making sandwiches with it because it comes in big square sheets (like 4x the size of normal Jacobs crackers) and it a really nice crunchy texture to have with cheese and pickle :p it's less sort of powdery than crackers as it's so thin. Tesco are selling boxes for 50p at the moment if you want to try them out, they're a nice equivalent to bread :D especially if can be used as a HexB as they hold more filling than a wholemeal roll- so you can have more stuff in your sandwich :p

Today I was ratty because I wasn't ready to wake up/not enough sleep because we forgot the clocks changed. Spent the day holding the baby so didn't get many pics of her- her mum (G's sis) is so jealous of me because apparently I'm very naturally maternal and she always smiles/giggles with me, which is really weird- not used to people being jealous of ME :p especially not skinny successful women who have rich husbands with sports cars- lol!

I was nervous about today as I my period has had me really hungry this week, so I packed some pasta and salad cream for the journey home as last time the hour drive had me starving, and I didn't want to be eating chocolate/sandwiches etc at his parent's house because I was hungry- so was prepared with the pasta and very grateful with it!

B: Banana, yoghurt

L: Roast beef (quite dry/not fatty) with gravy (2), one roast spud (1), broccoli and cauliflower. Left the yorkshire pud as it was a bit soggy and the other roast potatoes to avoid more syns- also skipped out on desert (raspberry roulade or something) and had some fruit salad instead for extra super free.
BUT THEN CAME THE CHOCOLATE. I didn't resist. 2 or 3 Thorntons (honestly can't remember if I had a 3rd or not but think I did) which are a whopping 3-3.5 syns each!! CRAP! Thought maybe 2 syns each! Well, will count that as 9 as not sure if I had the third... THEN I had about 1/4 of an easter egg- 6 syns! Crud. Thought I was being good but obvs not!!

D: Banana followed by pasta with salad cream light (1.5 for the amount) and 2 activia 0%. Later I had a muller light and Matzo (hexB) with cheese (hexA) and pickle (.5)

Syns for the day: 20! 15 on chocolate, eek. But yesterday I had less that 5 so will say that balances out. Haven't been doing weekly syns this week as each time I had a bit of a splurge (like that crazy desert I ate loads of on set earlier in the week) I felt like it was balancing out the 'saved' ones, but I'd say I've definitely stuck within 105 syns.

* week is slowing down but still definitely present so am betting I won't have lost anything by tomorrow's WI (except maybe some of what I gained for the * week in the first place) as it's been a bit of a crazy one this week. We'll see!

-1 on the scales today; which isn't great after +3 on Thurs but my * week is still present, so hopefully the scales will even out by mid-week WI on thurs!

Got really productive last night and started working towards my next Cinematography showreel!
The last (well, first) one I did took MONTHS; I had so much footage to go through and cut down. My next one is going to be very different, the shots in that are too quick. But anyway- the fact that I've put my mind to starting it is a huge deal, this is now my current project which will probably have me suicidally frustrated in months to come I'm sure :p lol.

I slept until 2pm today- WTF?! The cat was so desperate to be fed his pouch that he was hugging me while I slept! G took a pic:

Silly cat, he always has dry food to eat but he goes ape sh*t for his pouch every morning :p
Anyway- it's 5pm and I feel like I've barely started my day :S but have been doing productive stuff with website so far and watching biggest loser, have a feeling this will be a productive pyjama day :p

B: Banana + Cheesy (1/2 HexA1) Scrambled eggs on wholemeal roll (HexB) with ketchup (1 syn)

L: Steaks! Mmm... With caramelised onions, carrots and spinach. I made a sauce with the onions and quark, beef stock and balsamic vinegar (and a pinch of sweetner) which was yummy and creamy- G really liked it and was surprised that it was syn free!

D: Hex Sandwich: Matzo (HexB2), cheese (HexA1) and pickle (1)

Drinks: 2x green tea with splenda (tried one without splenda- HELL NO)! Lilt Zero, 1/2 HexA1 of Oatly choc milk (100ml)

Snacks: 2x Cheesecake muller lights (2), activia 0%, small milkyway bar (5), 100ml tinned lychees (6)

Syns for the day: 15

I think tomorrow we'll go to the cinema and thus the fruit/veg market, then I'll make a big soup and boost my super free/speed food as I felt like I was under portioning super free last week.

My cat is the same about his pouch of wet food. He comes into the bedroom and because it's always me who feeds him he whacks me gently but firmly on the nose with his paw - not the greatest way to be woken in the morning!:mad: :D

hope your ok. You always have such great ideas in your food diary! Definitely going to buy some Matzo and try that. What is G like with eating diet food? Chris is ok but not always great, and he always snacks way more than me.

Your sleep patterns are funny, but if its more productive, it makes sense.
Fingers crossed for you that things even themselves out weight wise before Thursday for you. Xx

LOL that's kinda cute :D my cat used to always shove his whiskers in my nose when he was little and make me really itchy! I started blowing on his face when he did it and he soon stopped. He meows desperate for a pouch as soon as it gets light and I spray him with a small water pistol I keep by the bed to shut him up LOL. He doesnt learn :S :p (*hides cat from Cheekychinchilla so she doesnt take him away*) he clearly still loves me ;D

I'm strangely not too bothered about weight this week- I felt ljke I had so many luxuries last week and the -5lbs was insane, so I'm not feeling like I've really put the effort in for a loss- even though I've been like 95% on plan! If you know what I mean? I dont feel deprived at all which is great. Would be a bonus to have a good loss but am unfussed for once, phew :) you'd be surprised how calm I was to see the +3! It's the most I've gained since joining sw... But this period has been INSANE after the no show, so yeah- expected! :D

G doesnt feel deprived at all, he eats so much chocolate and pizza :p I dont cook for him as often but usually 5 times a week or something- used to make him 2 meald a day though! But we still have spag bol and pasta and steaks and stuff so it's not really a compromise for him which is good. He has lost half a stone too since I've been on it- by eating friggin pizza and microwave meals haha! He is a good weight now where before the moobs were starting to show a bit, so it's been good for both of us! He is a skinny thing though so doesnt have another 5st to go lol.

Made G a full fat bolognase with some leftover standard mince I found in the freezer, put sugar an olive.oil in it and it taste sooo good but I'm not synning the tastes as they were just quality checks!! ;)

so glad your not stewing on the gain, it's soo easy to do. I really feel for you, I have comparatively easy periods but still get frustrated at having them, find them
sn inconvenience. Lol. So feel bad for you with difficult ones, hope yours calm down like that other lady with pco on here.

Chris has lost a stone since I've been dieting, must be good for them too! Lol. Mostly a cook what I want, but if its bread and stuff hell eat way more than me. He'll eat what he wants when we're out. And we got a joint Easter egg, I'm pretty sure it's gone and I ate half a snickers, so he ate the other half, a twix, a mars and the egg. Ha ha. It does amaze me that he's to gaining. Lol.

And you've got just over 4 and 1/2 to lose now not 5 :-D makes a big difference. You'll be there in no time! :) xx

Period had slowed down yesterday to what it USUALLY is, lol. Am still in bed so havent checked yet today- but basicaly has been a week of heavy horrible period. I used to get these like twice a year and then barely any period in between. When I came off the pill in the summer I had a few of them like this then they regulated! Anyway, not sure why the hiccup but I was still grateful to have a period after a month of stressing and pregnancy tests!

I'm thinking (forever thinking...) of joining the gym next week that is a cycleable distance with a pool and the machines but crap classes. Hopefully we've seen the last of the snow so I can bike there- 15 min warm up! There is a bit of a hill though that might put me off once I try it. :p
I would like to aim high for the summer so maybe I can be another 2.5-3 stone down by florida mid july, which I can only make happen with some serious exercise! I'll be happy with 2st though which is probably doable in 3 months. A few more -5's would be good ;)
I think I should make some more speed soup!

Yeah, funny that the guys have lost- lol! G still eats loads of bagels, sugary cereal etc but he was too thin when I met him- he just ate normal portions! I fattened him up with plates that could feed a family of 4 and he hated to waste so would eat the lot. I cant believe I would cook us half a 500g pack of pasta to share WITH bolognase- now we have about a quarter and it still feels loads!
 
Just having one of those days where all I want to do is nosh :( so much for all that jazz about not feeling deprived yesterday! I caved and had pasta for lunch as I REALLY wanted it. I've already used up both of my HexB's and one HexA AND I'm now tucking into a small milkyway! Can't blame my period as it's finished today- doh! Not sure why this is happening :( full of cravings today! I did have a banana and a side salad but they obvs weren't much help :p

Just found out an early call time tomorrow means waking up at 8am- which sucks because last night even once I put my phone away I was tossing and turning until 4am just not feeling tired. Crap! So got up past noon and am going to feel craaaap tomorrow. LE SIGH!
Am making some progress cutting through clips for my showreel though- have been through nearly 4 hours of pre-selected clips and cut out the best moments, but still have another hour of stuff to sieve through! Looooong process!

Ok, I literally made that Milkyway last 15 minutes by picking all the chocolate off of it and then nibbling the nougat :p lol- love doing that.

Hey Soph, just checking in to say hi. You are doing so so well!
Florida is awesome, you will love it-I would'nt even consider the plan on holiday, might be just me and my weak wills but you should just enjoy it because you will walk and swim loads out there.
I wanted to go and see side effects tonight but hubby has decided orange weds+school holidays will be too much like hell!
