Sophie's Slimming World and Cinema critiques!

-2lbs?!? Whaaat?! :D so the wii fit said -1 but am at 14st11 now! Maybe 1.5 off but whatever... HELLO 5.5st AWARD! :D OMGGG.

This feels as awesome as a -5 used to as I was jut so expecting a gain from the sushi/booze and after an sts last week... I guess my half soup day helped! PSYCHED.

On the wii fit I can set mini weight goals and finally I can set one that gets into the 'ideal' BMI... OMG! 1.5st away! Fjfjddkfkdl

So I have set myself 2 months to get this (xmas ish) but I know things are slow so am not expecting 2lbs a week at this stage... Still, so happy to have a shift again!

5.5st sticker is sooo purty :D purple!

P.S. Have now hit the 75% of weight loss journey mark!

Wow mate! Congrats on your new sticky :D Really proud of you!!

Even though you drank a fair bit the other day, you didn't also pile on party food/cake/chocolate etc, so it didn't have as much of an affect as it could have done. Think you did really well and it just shows that you can still have some kinda off plan days and still get losses.
So excited for you being so close to target :D

And 75% done is incredible!!

Also, Chewie is a good name ;) xx

Glad you like Chewie- I think it's cute and we are both star was nerds too hehe!

First time I've had a decent loss on a week where I had a bender I think!!

Quick food update, only half a syn today :|
Red:
______

B- fruit (kiwi, banana) and ff yoghurt

L- SF soup with grilled low fat mozzerella on wholemeal roll (hexa1+b1)

D- extra lean beef strips with onions and peppers cooked in fanta zero (thanks for the idea, Summer! Was yum! Will use two cans next time for two of us though) added some maggi, balsamic and a small squirt of sweet chilli (1/2 a syn for half he portion) to kick it up a notch. Shredded iceburg lettuce on the side.
Snacks: bowl of choc orange shreddies (hexa2+b2) for desert.

Felt like I could have done a soup dinner today too and made it a sort of fast day, but had the beef to use up

Sister (11) is coming over tomorrow as her school broke up mega early for half term, staying over and we're going to head to Thorpe park on Weds if the weather is OK! Have been meaning to go since schools went back in sept but forgot... Hopefully we will beat the half term rush as my other sister who is also in private school doesnt break up until Thurs!

Despite all my editing being done yesterday, I spent ALL DAY trying to get the files to convert and upload right- all sorts of complications with two different projects- gah! Left stuff uploading tonight so fingers crossed it'll all be sorted by the morning so I can chill out with my sister. Has been so slow, like watching paint dry, but very trial and error with 30 min pauses for things to convert etc, so dull! Over now, hipefully

Still over the moon about my loss today. Funny how if I'd gotten a -2 a couple of months ago I'd have been like "meh", but this really made my day! Just ten more -2's and I'll be at goal! Whiiiii! Shame they are quite far between at the mo

I seriously need to re-watch the Star Wars films. I've seen them a number of times, but haven't had a re-watch for aaaages! Chewie's a good name :) Don't go with Gizmo ..... ;)

You know it's really good to see you happy over a -2lb loss. I'm really pleased for you!! There's be big losses to come, you'll probably get one every so often. But these slow and hopefully steady losses make the difference. Sounds silly, but when you first start SW the losses are amazing while your body adjusts. Now it's used to it and is used to not dealing with high fat or calories so your metabolism has probably gone "f*ck it" Which is why I think, no matter what anyone says :p, that it's actually good to have a meal or a day off plan every so often. Gets things moving again :) Our bodies are so, so used to low fat/low calorie foods now - I'm in my 4th year of SW! So it does help to keep things interesting and challenge our bodies - and our minds!

I'll stop waffling now ;)

The work stuff sounds mega, super boring! But well done for getting through it.

So jealous of you going to Thorpe Park. When I was 19 (11 years ago ) me and my friend visited her Dad, who lived in London, and he took us there. I absolutely loved it! So much fun :D Hope the weather isn't crappy and that you do beat the horrible kids half term ;)

xx

Haha, I think there is actually some twisted logic there, Cheeky ;) that some off plan every now and again in moderation can shake things up with the metabolism, etc.
It feels like ages since I went to Thorpe Park but it was probably just the summer before last :D do you ever go to Alton Towers? That's like my fave place ever! Thorpe Park is awesome too though! Apparently it'll be dry tomorrow but hoping there aren't too many early half term private school kids there causing big queues  G might not be up for it if he's feeling unwell tomorrow though as he felt crap this morning and thinks he's coming down with something. It is a fair bit of driving for him (considering he hates driving) so fingers crossed he is up for it.

Watching South Park with Lucy at the mo, she's 11, I remember LOVING South Park when I was that age but my dad wouldn't let us watch it :p *cool sister award* LOL.

Had SF soup (with nothing else!) for lunch and was starving by tea, but we had dinner at grandma's and they ordered fish and chips so I wanted a low syn lunch. I ended up going for a chargrilled chicken option- it was really nice! And a big side salad, so relatively good syn wise AND really yummy :D didn't have one chip ;) but did nibble at some of Lucy's chocolate orange

Red:
_____

B- Natt ff yoghurt, banana, kiwi

L- Homemade vegetable soup

D- Chargrilled chicken with salad. +5 for any oil and added ketchup.

S- Punnet of grapes, a hard boiled egg with salad cream light (1), satsuma, double bowl of choc orange shreddies in evening (hexa1+2, hexb1+2), 1.5 pieces of Terry's Chocolate Orange (3 syns I think?)

Syns: 8

Have had a couple of good days now so am not going to pack a lunch for tomorrow as I know it'll just get squished and be gross anyway :p I have some fruit and pre-cooked chicken thighs that I'll bring though as it'll be a really long day and I'm sure I'll want some hefty snacks to keep me going :p

I make sense. Honestly ;) I totally do...

I went to Alton Towers last year for the first time in 10 years! I went with my sister, her boyf, and his brother. his brother was my gay date for the day. We even skipped at one point :p I absolutely loved it, and we all came home exhausted with stress headaches lol. They went again last weekend for someone's birthday, but there's no way I could cope with it at the moment. And it's a bit expensive to go and be the bag holder ;)
Hopefully next year will go with a few friends. Once I'm feeling better and stuff I wouldn't mind driving us. Could be cool to stay in a b&b nearby tho. Slumber party ;)
I'd forgotten how much I liked rides!

Hey, maybe some time we could co-ordinate a meet up and we can scream like girls together :p

Hope G's feeling ok by tomorrow. How come he doesn't like driving? When I'm not feeling sh*t I love driving. When i got my car back after it being at the garage for over a week i was so happy to drive it again! Going up to Bradford this weekend to visit my friend and do a sort of surprise birthday party :)

Yup, you'll definitely need some big-ass snacks! And well done on the super low takeaway tea :D

Hope you get to go tomorrow and have an awesome day.xx

ps. South Park rocks and so do you for letting your little sister watch it!!!

Summer- LOL amazing puppy names!! Hulk... Hahaha, so cite!

Cheeky- LOL as I was reading your Alton Tower story I was thinkig- hey! We should totally go together one day when you are better! Haha :D

I actually ate amazingly at thorpe park WTF?! I had my eyes set on the kebab store when we got there and ended up having a chicken salad at a bbq place instead  I imediately regretted it though :p i wanted something filling to power myself but ordered without thinking! Anyway, glad I did now as WI tomorrow should benefit- am expecting a good loss actually despite the -2 on mon :p hopeully the more exercise than usual of walkig around the park for 6hrs wont cause water retention (Lol suh a feeble excuse, "sts? Must have been from that hardcore work out of... Walkig around a theme park...")
But am excited to WI! :D

So we got up at 7am which is about 5hrs before my usual wake up time so that was hard :p got to the park at 10am on the dot and was one of the first 50 or so in (we were there when the gates were just opening!) and managed the big three rides in the first hour! Saw, Nemisis Inferno and Stealth! By 10.50am we were already in the queue for The Swarm which was the only time wr queued all day really (half an hour) most things had about a 5 min queue! Amazing!
I was raining a bit after that but decided to poncho up and go on Tidal Wave anyway LOL. My knees got soaked from where the poncho flew up a bit but the rest of me was dry :p the twat running the ride poured water over us when we got stationed using a dustpan- ew! Didnt get me though :p

We then went for lunch and headed over to X no way out- it doesnt go backwards anymore :S what!? They pimped it out with lasers, dry ice and loud dance music was playing, not the old spooky total darkness thing... Was an interestig twist but was more thrilling backwards
We then did a few thrill rides as we had covered all of the coasters; cant remember the names but one was like a swiging ship vut where you stated at a flat angle vut were spun up and over the thing, round.and round. Was fun but felt sick after- there was no queue so G and Lucy stayed on for a second go!! Then Lucy wanted to go on this claw shape where you are spun and rocked back and forth high in the air really fast, I was hesitant as i had been on similar a few times and knew as I felt quite queasy it wasnt a great idea, but went anyway  didnt enjoy it much as felt reeaaally queasy. I never actually vomit from rides, just feel a lot of naseaus (never from coasters though!) and after that I lost a lot of energy :(
Went on X again and then Lucy played some expensive fair ground games, won a fun octopus hat :p then 2hr traffic jam home!
Got back and felt so ill and tired that I nearly fell asleep at 7pm! It is 8.20 now though and am probably going to bed after this post!

So food: Red:
______

B- fruit and yoghurt

L- piri piri chicken salad (+3 for marinade and dressing), picked at a couple of Lucy's potato chip things and had about quarter of her leftover burger meat and some.kethup (+5 for that)

D- nada

Snacks- a chicken thigh (skin removed), banana, grapes, apple, soft cornetto (didnt like mine so swapped with G's half eaten one, will knock off a couple of syns for what he consumed and call it 7 rather than 9. Not impressed with them :s which they has whippy's there!)

Drinks- 2L squash, a diet coke, a tea (with 1 sugar as they had no sweetner :'( wasnt even sweet enough!)

Syns: 16
_____

Went over a syn but no dinner and a salad for lunch- defintely a low calorie day! Shocking really. I feel like I have a new grasp on things now that I am considerig carbs and calories as the enemy rather than syns... Like, snacking on a 'free' 250cal mugshot would do way more damage to me than a 150cal '7 syn' chocolate bar.

As I said- looking forward to WI though quite nervous too. Monday's -2 gave me such a confidence boost, and I fancy a treat tomorrow after being so good today ;)
x

Really glad you had such a good day! WTF at No Way Out not going backwards anymore?! Surely that was what made it 'special'?!
Yes, when I'm less likely to pass out we should totally go to Alton Towers :D Would be SO cool!

Well done on such a good day food wise. 1 syn over is amazing considering where you were and what you were doing. Wise choices indeed! Can understand you not eating dinner and wanting to go to bed. After we'd been to Alton Towers we picked Mum up and one of Rachelle's friends came to meet us for a carvery. The 4 of us just sat there absolutely exhausted! Doesn't half take it out of you doesn't it? All the walking and the adrenaline!!

I agree with you on how to use your syns and Hex's and stuff. I would never use a mug shot or Pasta N Sauce or Supernoodles as a 'free' snack! I'd rather use up a Hex or some syns. Can't imagine how much damage stuff like that can do to your diet! I think either snack on super free or use up some syns/Hex. Makes you think about it more too and make better choices :)

Anyway, hope you have a really good sleep and a nice day tomorrow.x

HOLY ABSOLUTE F*CK!!! -3 today! Added to mid week WI that means -5 total this week!!! WTFFFFFFF!! :D :D :D AND that is after a massively over synning weekend of unlimited Sushi and 10hrs of drinking wine! OMG!!!
I am mow down to 14st 8! Well into the 14's :D and just 1st 4lbs from target/4lbs from 6st award! Ahhhh!!!
So this week I kost more weight than the total of past month+ I think it must be partly how extreme thigs were- loads of sushi and japanese food- LOADS- painfully full :)rolleyes:) followed by no eating and pure booze fest followed by 3 days of replacing a meal with superfree 100cal soup. Omg! I need to have unlimited sushi and get wasted more often LOL.
Sosososo in awe right now.

I do know at this point that my weight loss is utter fluke as I can be 100% on plan one week and lose nothing, it must really be about catching the golden week or two between *week prep/arrival/ending.
Holy crap. This is surreal...!

So I've now lost 80lbs = 80% to my first goal! I'm also at 204lbs now so reaaally close to getting under 200lbs and being in 'onderland' hehe :D golly.

Really glad you had such a good day! WTF at No Way Out not going backwards anymore?! Surely that was what made it 'special'?!

Yeah- I was totally knackered by 4pm! We didn't even stay until it closed at 5 because we'd already done all the rides and I felt so exhausted! Can't believe I managed a 13hr day of rides in Florida, 7 hours of rides was PLENTY yesterday haha!

I think I've had a new understanding of food and calories recently... a few MFP entries has helped as well as just looking on packets of things... All diets/food plans boil down to calories in vs calories out, MFP recons to lose 2lbs a week I need to be under 1350 calories, and recently I input my SW food and it was hitting 1500 on days I thought were good! It's so easy to think you're being good when you're low syn, but really... the amount of calories in fruit, eggs, pasta, meat... If you're having huge portions it just adds up! I thought I had a really healthy salad recently and the eggs, chicken, feta and olives made it add up to like 700 calories!! Would have been less to have a burger LOL.
So I think it's good to look at things differently... SW was a great way to get me to understand what is good and what is bad for me, especially now that I'm eliminating carbs other than on treat days, but if I could live every week like this past one (food wise) I'd be a happy bunny! Two crazy days of calories and two very low days with soups- more fun than 7 days of in the middle :p

I'm going to download an ebook or two on the 5:2/JUDDD/Fast diet. Are they all the same?? lol... My cousin at the party was doing 5:2, she was eating crisps and wraps and munching next to the food table the WHOLE time... She said she eats whatever on the up days (lots of sweet stuff/chocolate) and sticks meticulously to the 500cal on the down days and always loses 1/2 a pound but has learnt to be happy with that... Bet if she didn't munch quite as much on the up days she'd probably get better losses  I think it is kinda a bad way to look at dieting as you're not learning about foods and training yourself etc, but I've heard that it is very healthy to fast as in caveman times we'd only eat a big meal every other day, so it prolongs our lives and stuff to do so! Definitely want to look into that. OK I'll shut up now, time to get on with some editing!
Yesterday a finished project had the thumbs up so I am SO RELIEVED as that was really tricky and we had to reshoot due to a hard drive malfunction, really been a crappy project but it's all over now pheewwww. Time to start the artist one I shot last week!

Here are a few pics (nabbed from instgram, hence stupid square format) from yesterday with my Sister and G in Thorpe Park; I wore my new £5 size 14 hoodie ;) hehe. The last one is the splash from 'Tidal Wave'.

Massive sushi cravings, really want to go to that unlimited japanese food place! G said maybe but he isnt hungry yet... I'm starving!!

Had a chinese instead, a reward for the -5 :D had grilled dumplimgs, half a s&s chicken and some noodles... Mmm! Recon I went over syns by about 2 but not fussed, was a treat and had soup amd a hard boiled egg (yolk removed) for lunch so that was v low cal.

Tomorrow might go to Voodoo for their halloween clubbing night but no idea what to dress up in/as! I want to look hot as this guy I dated asked if I was going and I really want to be able to dance about feeling all confident for once. I dated him when I was 18 and insanely insecure about my body! He isnt an ex as we were never together, just some dating and clubbing together, but I did have a huge thing for him :p last year I saw him at the same halloween club and he grabbed G by the balls.to demonstrate this thing that happened LOL? Poor G looked so shell shocked by that- hahahaha.

Not sure if we will end up going or not but if so I'm going to drink lots and dance my socks off. Basically if I do the same as last week I can lose another 5lbs despite drinking and the take away right? :p *snigger* yeah riiight.

Mmm Chinese food :D

Why on earth would you remove the yolk from the boiled egg?! It's GOOD for you ;)

Looks/sounds like you had an epic day yesterday. I know I text you but I want everyone else to see.... You looked absolutely awesome! And your sister's really cute and you & G look so relaxed and happy :D

Poor G and his balls!!! What are you like?! Lol I hope you do get to go and have a really good dance like a loon night ;)

Also, don't push your bloody luck with the weight loss. Pfffft :p xx

Looool!!
Thanks babe :D (again!)

The yolk makes me gassy LOL i can get away with more eggs if I remove the yolk... I keep a but of it but remove like 2/3rds (dont like it that much anyway and it harbours all the calories!)

G is a bit poorly (man cold) so not sure he'll be up for it tomorrow but we'll see. X

Went out looking for a red outfit to wear as a devil to this halloween club tonight; had a red skirt and tights so a top would have done, but couldnt find one that matched and the skirt was pale red with polkadots so not very scary/sexy :p
Found a dress in a cheap store but they only had size 8... It was super stretchy though so I tried it on and it FIT! LOL¡¡ on what planet can U get into a size 8?! ROFL.

My tiny boobs were too big for it so decided against but will post a pic just for the lolz. It was they type of dress I'd never be able to wear again, too :p

Ended up buying a devil lingerie piece from primark- a bra and bodice piece and then bough a skirt to go over the ridiculously short built in one :p I am literally going to wear lingerie to a club LOL. I know that most of the girls there will be in even less though :p metal clubs are full of women wearing fishnet dresses etc.
Am excited now!

Mum randomly decided to come visit, she lives 2hrs away, so am on bus now hoping to beat her home! She will stay at her parents' tonight and then come over tomorrow afternoon for a bit more time together. I dont see her often so am excited! She hasnt met Chewie yet either.

Food today has been Red:
______

B- apple and banana chopped into bat ff yoghurt
L- subway chicken salad (3 syns for dressing) and an alpen light.
D- N/A. Maybe some soup but will be drinking and tend to feel sick if I mix drink and food so will keep to the booze :p will drink as much as I like tonight then soup it up low syn the rest of the weekend like last week.

My boosted loss this week couldnt have come at a better time- will give me such a confidence boost dancing tonight! And with that guy I dated there too (Adam), will feel great to know I look so much better now!
