Goodness me. It sometimes happens that we loose someone so close to a birthday. Hope its not been too difficult for you Darcy.

My mum passed the day after my husbands birthday.

Nice lay in on Friday then. I'm working Friday & Monday . xx

I like to think he waited until after my birthday

The day was fine really - strange to think that it's been a year already though

Morning everyone

Waiting in for a parcel delivery - red shoes to go with my dress

Hope to make a start on spring cleaning then - so much easier now that the whole house is clutter free!

The sun is shining, but it doesn't feel especially warm so not sure if I'll go out anywhere

Decided to go out for a bit after all - took some flowers to the memorial garden at the crematorium

......a very peaceful place, and I just sat there for a few minutes remembering my parents

Hi Darcy. I'm pleased you were able to go and find some peace. My Dad died many years ago when he (and my sister and I) were relatively young on Christmas eve. My mum goes to the crematorium every Christmas eve and gets a lot of comfort from this.

Not long home

...spent the day with family at my elder brothers house

Nice to see everybody together - hard thing to organise as we are dotted around the country

The weather didn't play ball - torrential rain all the way home - but never mind

I did eat lunch - but stuck to meat and vegetables, so hopefully little harm done

Back to TS tomorrow - all the way to my holiday, 3 weeks today
