Plenty of swimming pools!

....and lots of entertainment too - movies, production shows, interesting lectures about ports of call and ship operations, napkin folding, fruit carving, trivia contests, Zumba...........:D

Looks brilliant!

It is a second hand one, kindly donated by my friend - a Kettler Stratos

....I assembled it easily, just a few screws :)

She'd lost the instruction manual, but thanks to the power of the Internet I downloaded one for free just now :D

Can I ask a mega stupid question about the bike...how are you getting on with it being short? Back in the day when I still lived in a city with actual amenities, I used to go to the gym and they had different exercise bikes and I must say that some of them were almost borderline uncomfortable because of lack of leg length. (also known as triple L in the medical world).

I have the saddle on its lowest possible setting, and that seems just fine.

My friend must have stronger legs than me because I needed to loosen the tension - I'll work back up to that

I have that issue with exercise bikes end up peddling with my toes!! I mean I'm mega shirt anyway but all my height is in my body if I sit up straight I'm as tall as 6 foot people when sitting but my feet don't touch the floor lmao

Have a good day everyone - I'm just off to the station, going to Birmingham for work :(

.......back to reality today after my nice break last week

Have a good day today Darcy :)

Oh and I'm actually considering one of those little pedal things that you can use just sitting on a chair, coz my house is so miniature, a bike would seriously impact on space. Living and breathing space. I would be living on the bike.

Have a good day Darcy. Hope your 1st day back goes well x

Bee I have one of those. They are quite good. I use mine sitting on a high bar stool so that it doesn't keep slipping along the floor. It has a tendency to do that if the seat is too low. My favourite is my ministepper Really good for popping on & off . Works the muscles well too & burns calories at a decent amount.x

Oh thanks for mentioning that Susie, that's good feedback, I might actually get one. I'm really short on cash right now so they don't break the bank and in the meantime, I can do at least something. I love my walks but at the moment it's already dark when I get home and so I'm restricted to weekends, really want to do something every day now.

Sorry for hijack, Darcy

The mini bike also doubles up as you can put it on a worktop & use it to work your arms too. x
Sorry Darcy, all done x

Hi all - just back from a very long day in Birmingham

Going to watch a bit of TV before bed

A miniature house for a miniature person :D

......best not to live on the bike, less than comfortable

Well done Darcy on staying TS today x

Thank you :)

Did have a brain wobble when I got home - was really ravenous and almost picked up the phone to order pizza

.....didn't do it though :D

Very strange I should be so starving tonight, haven't thought about food for a while

Onwards and downwards!

Its one of those days today Darcy. No Pizza allowed. Good on you for resisting. Roll on tomorrow for a better day hopefully x

Thanks Susie :)

A big part is tiredness I think - didn't sleep brilliantly last night, worried about having to wake up early I think after my week off, then a very long day today on and off trains

.....I'm in the office tomorrow, so no travelling anywhere :D

We can do this thing, together we stand! :D
