Splash's Countdown

Yeah Splash...come out to play! We miss you on this forum!

Hi all, you lot make me laugh. Have been absolutely shattered this past week...new job very physically and mentally tiring...will not need a gym to keep fit.
Anyway back on CD from Monday!!!!!

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

So guess I'd better cut down on the old carbs.....changed from Atkins on Monday due to severe constipation! Nothing a couple of bowls of All-Bran couldn't sort out! Funny I didn't have any problems while on CD.

Bought a lovely Next dress on ebay this week....size 16 and it looks tiny! I'm hoping to get into an 18 by Christmas.....so that's my next goal!

Sussex Girl I don't know how you sat through that meal without eating! I lose all control in a restaurant! Dreading the Christmas meals! You are doing so well.

Bea, hope you continue to pop into Minis....I almost wish I could have another so I could join the pregnancy forums!!! Didn't have the internet with my last one! I'm so excited for you. Hope you're feeling ok.

And to the beautiful DQ....I'm so happy and excited to be seeing you on Monday. Is your hair still blue?:D:D:D:D:D

One thing I forgot to mention, my hair has been falling out in handfalls for the last month! Pony tail is now half as thick as it used to be! Anyone else having trouble?

HI Splash...thanks for your kind note! Yes so excited too...and my hair is falling out in clumps...combinaton of the end of LT, pregnancy and winter moulting I think........not happy but ignoring it!!!!

Great you are getting back on CD - you will be in that Size 18 by Chrimbo!

Hey honey, the blue hair is going this weekend :( but it means you'll be one of the first to see the new hair ;)

Re: your hair falling out, often it happens when you lose weight quickly, and also when you stop a programme like CD suddenly. It's similar to hair loss after pregnancy - you don't tend to lose hair whilst pregnant, so kinda moult when you've given birth. Please don't worry :hug99:

Splash!!!!!!

I'm so glad you're back. If you stick to the diet you will be looking lovely and slinky in your size 18's at Christmas, no trouble :D

I have a wedding reception to go to tomorrow night. I haven't actually been out to a 'do' for over a year, so I'm nervous about it.

Going to drink lots of water and ignore all the lovely food they are having there, but I don't care.

I'm so glad you're coming back to CD. We are going to help spur each other on and make DQ proud :D:D:D

Hope you have a great time at the wedding. I've been invited out next week for my ex MIL's birthday. We're going to a Chinese all you can eat restaurant, I'm wondering what choices I can have as I'll be doing the 790 plan. Probably best to eat before we go but as I said I don't have much willpower when faced with a menu!

I lost a lot of hair after my last 2 pregnancies and it recovered. Just aswell I've got hair to spare!

Eating low carb this weekend to minimise the discomfort of getting into ketosis. And of course drinking loads of water. That's one habit I've kept up since stopping CD. Before I could go months without having a glass of water...was a coffee and tea addict....now I prefer to have a couple of black coffees a day and drink 3-4 litres of water. Never thought I'd actually enjoy drinking water and have to say my skin definately looks fresher and I don't get sore, cracked lips anymore. Only took me 41 years and tons of vaseline to work out I was always dehydrated! (hmm and I'm a nurse!).

I totally adore chinese food - that would be a tough one for me. I'm sure you'll be a good girl though and choose sensible options :D

Well we just got home from the girls karate grading and they both passed - they are now brown belts. I'm so proud of them both and we've just rushed home to get ready for the wedding reception, so a busy day for me today.

Hope the weekend carries on being a nice, healthy one for you Splash.

xxx

mmmm chinese when good is great!! When i am good.. I go for steamed prawns and chicken skewers (without the satay)......

Oh Bea but Chiken Satay is my favourite! Lol.

Congratulations SG on your girls becoming brown belts. I don't know how they remember all the moves. How old are your girls?

:)
