SS+ or Step 2

Hi,

I'm no stranger to CWP but have always followed Sole Source. However I have come to realise that this may not be the way forward for me. I tend to go straight back to normal eating after I have lost the weight and end up putting it straight back on again.

I am going to try a different approach and give either SS+ of Step 2 a go. The problem is, I don't know how to do it. I dont know what I can eat, or how much etc.

I should imagine there are loads of threads about this somewhere but can't find them at the moment. Could someone please advise or point me in the right direction? Thanks :)

sole source plus programme you will either eat 4 Cambridge products plus 200ml skimmied milk or three cambridge products plus a 200kcal meal compiled from the food list , a sole source plus meal is a meal of no morethan 200kcal , one ingredient from the list
170g chicken or turkey skinless
180g tinned tuna
225g cottage cheese plain , red fat less than 2% fat
230g cod, haddock, or white fish
185g re cooked prawns
250g steamed tofu
2 large eggs
plus 80g any cooked or raw veg or salad from list broccoli, asparagus, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, chinese leaf greens , courgette, cucumber, fennel, green peppers, green salad, lettuce , leeks, marrow, red radishes, spring onion , watercress , spinach
.how you doing , i'm still on exante had break away but returned and today been good ..... i'm off to spain in 8 weeks , so any loss will help , you do the hard bit of the diet , then go back to your old ways , maybe think ok how about the diet where its 5.2 ? you've done wellyou before , i guess we will alway be watchibg your weight . whats happening these days ?

Sorry its taken me so long to reply, after posting and receiving no replies I just stopped looking in. Soooooo, thank you so much for responding to me :)

I piled the weight back on :( - haven't even weighed myself because I am too scared. I am so big and uncomfortable. Had a surprise holiday last month (ie. paid for and flew out to Egypt 8 days later :D) and I have never felts so uncomfortable on holiday. Never again.

I was ill over the Bank Holiday, I actually drove myself to hospital at 7.30 a.m. on BH Monday. Today I have been diagnosed with having 'a' gallstone - just the one I think lol. So, even thought I was thinking of doing SS+, I have decided that's the route I am definitely going to take. Starting Monday.

Wish I was going to Spain. I know I had a week lying in the sun doing nowt but I think I need another holiday already lol.

I am so depressed Jackie, you are right, I do do all the hard work then put it on again, its a question I ask myself constantly - why oh why????

wow sounds dream holiday and paid for too , I know you thought you were not going away this year , think that's the key with you , if you know your going away you do keep it off and then come back and go back to eating , but you know you can do it , its thinking on the holiday how good you will feel , yes i'm going away big , i'm 235 today have lost but its nothing near where i'd like have 8 weeks well just under .
I think since the site changed things don't get seen on here like before , people say this .
The Gallstones , did they say it was todo with weight loss of vlcd ?
My mia gone back to school today , its been a long school holiday i'm about to visit the secondary schools this month .... as shes in her last year .
aww sorry to hear your feeling down , life can have its ups and downs , think maybe when we feel down we stop caring about ourselves and weight goes on , think of it as tempory only and life will get better ....
So the ss plus your going to have a go at , yes put yourself on a plan and if you do have a day that's strays .... theres always another to make it 100% .
So have you started ss plus Miriam ? i'm on exante , just going with each day as it comes , with me I find the scales tend to play a huge part in me giving up when ive been good and the scales show no loss also I mentaly miss food after few weeks , I really am hoping to be able to make a dent in this 8 weeks .
