I love macaroni - what brand is free then?

Might have some and pretend I am following SW that day! Would that still work or not???? x

Marshalls Macaroni - the king of macaronis ;) They do a pack which is lovely, you boil the macaroni and add the sauce in the pack with milk and marg... gorgeous :)

Onto Day 5 of SW and still loving it. Jen was round yesterday and left with half the (WW) contents of my freezer lol She did read my SW books and if I have a good result at WI I wouldnt be surprised if she comes over to the dark side with me - stay tuned ;)

STILL cant get my head round how much Im eating BUT since I dont have a wi tomorrow I had a sneak at the scales today and Im already 3lbs down on last weeks wi :bliss:

Lets hope the enthusiasm lasts lol
 
Ha ha, it was when you had your plate of macaroni with extra cheese and tuna and I was eating a freaking WW bar! Thought there is something very wrong here, what am I doing! ha ha! 3lb down is amazing so far! I could easily live on macaroni!

Theres no other diet where you can have mac and cheese for free!!!!!! ive got speedy bangers and beans tonight - its bascially 3 quorn sausages mixed with onion, passata, red kidney beans and baked beans on a pile of mashed potato - all FFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
 
Theres no other diet where you can have mac and cheese for free!!!!!! ive got speedy bangers and beans tonight - its bascially 3 quorn sausages mixed with onion, passata, red kidney beans and baked beans on a pile of mashed potato - all FFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

This is all starting to sound very tempting indeed.

I need to stop snacking on sugary rubbish in a big way and I think SW steers you towards better snacking - fruit, yogurt and the like.

I think I might have Lydias tea tonight - not even that many WW points in it either.
 
Oh its really lovely, heres the offical recipe!
SPEEDY BANGERS AND BEANS
Serves 2
free on green / EE

6 Quorn Sausages
Fry Light
3 rashers quorn chilled bacon
1/8 Red Chilli
1/8 tsp Paprika
125ml Passata
Splash Soy Sauce
1/4 tsp Freshly Chopped Thyme
1 small can baked beans (the very small one from Heinz)
1 small ban red kidney beans

1. Place sausages in a pan sprayed with fry light and cook until golden. Deseed and finely slice the chilli. Add the bacon, chilli and paprika to the pan and cook for a couple of minutes.

2. Add the passata, soy sauce and thyme and stir well to make sure the sausages are well covered.

3. Finally add all the beans. Stir thoroughly and cook for a few minutes until the beans have warmed through. Serve with mash, jacket potato, rice or pasta.


I guess you could have meat sausages and bacon if you were having a EE day but they will never be as low in cals or fat as quorn!
 
mmm I remember my SW days ... I used to have a mac cheese pie ... (mac cheese with mashed potato on the top, sprinkled with cheese and baked in the oven ... YUM!

Still totally loving SW

I surprised myself yesterday, I had 3 meals, 3 good meals and that was it NO snacking or anything. Thats a first for me!! Core didnt work for me because I hated knowing once Id had my meals that was it, I couldnt snack. I think as soon as you tell me not to do something then I want to do it lol Yesterday I had my 3 meals and I knew there were loads I could snack on - IF I wanted to.

I think the time has come to move my diary to SW. Im going to maintain a diet diary, out in public, but keep my main one in the Members section.

PLEASE dont abandon me, do keep popping in to visit. It feels strange taking that last WW link away :cry:
