Starting again for the last time! It's going to be a long journey!

what a day! finally my bedroom is spotless, and I spent 2 hours fixing holes in dressing up clothes and soft toys, then went on a walk with the kids round the woods, and to a playpark, where they well and truly wore me out! i think an early night is on the cards (to make up for not going to bed til gone midnight last night cos of cleaning, and then not being able to sleep past 6!) knackered is not the word! Found out today our big money payout is in the bank, so my OH has bought me a new laptop. Somehow Sunday night just can't seem to get here quick enough now!

:D Good morning! Half term is over, and kids are back to school. My OH finally got home last night :D:D:D:D so good to see him again! Got a ton of unpacking & laundry to do now cos of it, but catching up slowly. I somehow don't think I will have lost any weight when I WI on weds, but never mind. Not going to get bogged down. Trying to plan my christmas shopping trip for Saturday...so excited already!:D

Good luck for WI!xx

Not going to SECC. Just getting familiar with my nice shiny new laptop! :D:D:D so nice to have one that works quickly, and doesn't turn off randomly when you're using it! Feeling very tired today - didn't sleep well because of indigestion, nausea and toothache. Also got some exciting news, which will have an impact on tomorrows WI - I'm pregnant! 5 weeks+ :) so I'm going to try gong back to slimming world so I'm eating healthily, and try to not gain too much weight!

Thanks hun. It's ok, I don't really miss the cider that much, but I mustn't go and replace it with a ton of chocolate! So excited already. It's gonna be a LONG 8 months!:D

Been another busy time of late. Let's just say that over the last month things with school and my son have not gone at all smoothly. He's only manages to attend 4 half day sessions, and 3 quarter day sessions in the last month, and been excluded the rest of the time, with only the most recent time being set any work at all. At the moment I am waiting to hear what will happen next, as he is not to return to school until further notice, and may not even return to that school at all. Feeling very anxious about the whole situation, but I have no faith that whatever 'solution' they come up with will work. If they keep him where he is, he will just continue to get excluded, and if they move him, then I have even further to travel when things inevitably go wrong. I am thinking of home schooling to relieve the pressure off of my mother-in-law for having to transport me whenever I'm called in - it's a 44 mile round trip for her, and of late its been every day that my son has been present at school we have had to attend!

On a more positive note, I am feeling fine in myself, and am off to the doctor's this afternoon to get referred to the midwifery team. Feeling excited, and nervous all at the same time!

I started dieting properly in January for the first time in my life. I have always struggled with my weight and I managed to lose a stone and a half. Then I stopped. The weight wasn't coming off and I got into a rut of eating what I wanted again. I cant bare the thought of the weight going back on. Im getting married in 4 months and I really need to shift some more weight. I think my problem is I love food and I get bored of eating the same boring foods when I diet. If anyone has any helpful tips or tasty recipe ideas that could help me please let me know. Help and advice is always appreciated :)

Oh dear. I had hoped the new meds might have calmed him down a bit, How will you be able to home school him with a new baby to look after too? You must really be superwoman. Good to see you back "farming". :D

This is partly my worry too, but homeschooling can be more flexible on times, and my OH wants to help out when he can, and even my mother-in-law wants to pitch in! Will just wait and see what this meeting at school (that as his parents we are not invited to attend!) throws up, and take it from there. Also, we have a appointment with the paediatrician on Thursday, so I will be discussing the medicine, and see what his thoughts are.

First of all, well done on losing a stone and a half! That's a really great achievement. Secondly, eating what we want is part of our nature, hence why we all struggle so much to lose weight! I have to recommend Carol Vorderman's detox diet - it's full of loads of tasty recipes, and really helps you get back on track. You're supposed to follow it for 28 days, but I only managed 2 weeks, and lost 15lbs. It'll give you a real boost, and relight your determination. I also have to recommend warming meals, eg. porridge for breakfast, pasta or omelette for lunch, and then another main meal at dinner time, especially at this time of year when it's cold, as it will help keep you full. Good luck to you though :

In agony this morning again with my tooth, but have phoned the dentist and it's getting pulled out tomorrow. I'm kind of nervous but it needs done. I need to be able to sleep at night, and as I can only take paracetamol, and they're not helping, this is the only way forward.

And as for the outcome of the school meeting... well, my dear boy is no longer permitted to be attending the school. They want to move him to another primary school, which I have looked up online, and I'm not impressed, but we will go to see it in around 3 weeks time. In the meantime, we are home educating, at least until after Christmas, but probably for the rest of school life.

Apart from that, I'm doing ok, apart from morning sickness (just nausea though) and this wretched toothache! I had a lovely weekend celebrating my 11th wedding anniversary, and feel well and truly spoilt rotten!

I think I said before but no harm in repeating. :D I've only had one extraction but loads of fillings and the extraction was much easier and quicker AND less painful. :D Hope it goes Ok for you. :D

Shame about your lad but to me it sounds as though home schooling is the way to go. Would it mean you would need to give up your OU course. But if it give your boy a better start in life it would be worth it.

Hope he morning sickness eases a bit soon.
