Starting my slim and save journey 1st jan 2014 if the pack arrives by then...

Kid! Stop hating on yourself so much! You look great. You have a lovely womanly figure and you def don't look lardy! I agree with Lou re buying size 8's. Something tells me you can be an impatient so and so sometimes ;) Just take it easy on yourself and stick to the plan. You'll be absolutely fine. Re the job. Go for it if you don't mind call centre. It'll be a great experience for you. And well done on hitting the 10's! Wooohooooo! So proud of you! :) M x

Morning Priya! Great loss this week! Well done! You will be in the 10's easily by next weigh in! Don't forget you are a shortie (like me) and you have lost 18lbs so far (12st 4 to 11 st and a bit) and that is a real chunk of weight almost a stone and half!! You have stuck to your diet even with your planned days off and therefore you have shown restraint and discipline which you need to focus on in the long term which will help you keep weight off. Try not to think of reaching goal and being a size 8 again as a magic which will keep you a size 8 and at goal weight forever. What will keep you there is the discipline and restraint you have shown from 2 January to date. If I had exerted bit more of the effort you have put in I would be 18lbs less than I am now! (Sorry am I sounding like your mum?!) I just don't want you to spend the rest of your life dieting and on and off diets like I have been over the years. Not so much in my early 20's but mostly from my 30's and I am sure others will get what I am saying. The point I am trying to make is that it is this crucial next 3-4 weeks that will make a big difference. The next 7-10 lbs will have people commenting. I don't mean to be harsh but for us shorties and with our small frames 11 st is still very overweight so the initial loss of 18lbs may not look like such a loss. However, the next 18lbs will make a big difference. Look ahead, and even further ahead beyond goal try and let that be your focus - maintenance so you can go have have fun and pull a few gorgeous hunks without even batting an eyelid! x


Lool naaww kira u dnt sound like me mum at all me mum wudv been ten times worse haha....bt yh hate being short sumtimes lol...11 stone is very overweight i agree wit u there lool...i am hopin will succesffully will lose the 18 lbs either wrde end of march or beginning of april lol n hpe to God its noticeable or else will sit down n cry haha....hmm dno abt the pullin kira lol dnt av much. Tht is a very very hard decision to mke bt i am going to have the bare minimum n ima prbz nt gna need lots down me to get me on a level tbh lol wt with nt havin drank proper in ages lol and havin lost bit of wieght lol so hpefully wont do much damage see wt apens nx subday xx
 
That's fantastic. Shows that the real basic stuff works well for you. If you don't weigh on Sunday but get back to it straight away you'll definitely be firmly in the tens next week. Like Kira said you will see a much bigger difference for every pound you lose now. Maybe measure now and after the weekend so you can see that you haven't actually gained inches. Meant to say about the job stuff. I would say go to the interview if you get one. Ask plenty of questions and make sure you really understand what the job is. Find out exactly what you'd have to pay back if you left the job now and then make an informed decision. And Irwin Mitchell support the charity I work for and they have offices country wide so maybe longer term opportunities.

So day 53 ended up having 25g salmon, one qurn saysage one bbybel n chilli n spag bol stuffed inside a pepper with the bbybel melted on top with handful of mushrooms n spinach n a few burnt swede chips lool witb a doollop of yogurt n had a hazelnut shake at the end too three litres of water n two mugs of green tea shud reli try n boost tht up a bit the green tea still gettin used to the taste lol tmp gna try n get up early nuf so tht i do have time to fit in one mug of green tea so then end of the day wen bk hme can js abt try n fit in two more mugs of green tea n try n boost up the amount tht way lol tdai forgot to add rivena to me water too so drinkin plain water all day was blurghh lol bt managed three litres loolz....mwhz

I make my green tea first thing in the morning before anything and while I sort myself out it cools down enough for me to gulp down. Also i didnt like green tea much either until i realised i was leaving the tea bag in too long as it says only 1-2 mins on the pack and since i have been timing it its a lot more pleasant x

ooh yeah green tea is a bit harsh if you leave the bag in too long...

Kira is sooo right, these next 18lbs are going to make the absolute world of difference - all of a sudden people are going to go 'wow you've lost weight!!' because as you get smaller each lb is a larger % of your remaining weight :) You're going to nail it :D

You've had a night off before on this plan and you got straight back on it, and look at you still going strong - you can do it again. Enjoy your night out have a great time, don't weigh on Sunday and by next Sunday you'll be back in those 10s I promise :D

Then by Easter you should be comfortably in the 9s

Day 54? Lol rite epic fail man arghh lolz...woke up early bt js dint cudnt get out bed soo annoying lool missed out on the green tea again grrr bt tis cuzinz bday tdai ladt one before she gets hitched so think she wnts to go out for a meal think chinese of all places nw i knw tdai is ment to b a off day due to drinkin tmo n sat bt still dnt reli wna throw it all out of the window tbh....soo ne suggestions even tho i knoe chinese aint exactly the healhiest at alll....grr soo gutted was js gna av a subway tdai n a chicken salad tmoo bt noooo its chnged nw lol bt then again im ryin to think if she dint do it tdai she wduv done it on another day so think its best to get her meal out of the way suppose so then can jump bk on plan first thing sunday mrning...gna tke me bar wit me sat nite so tht can av tht sunday mrning hehe :) goo meee woop woop preparation n tht hehe so think nr gna waste ne packs tdai bt will tke wit me rivena plus water tdai. To work to help with the water intake n wen get hme av a cup of tea before shower tnite after meal n then another one after shower n then one more before jumpin in bed for the nite wt u guys think? So it b a total of three off days bt gna try to do minimla damage as best as i can?


Nx week i reli gna ry n mke nore of a effort to fit the green tea in there as iv erd frm lots of ppl tht it has helped with water intake n losssses.....one litee dow alrdy even on a off day hehe x

Morning Priya. If you can't avoid having the Chinese at all my suggestion is have anything that isn't obviously carbs. Spring rolls, pancakes, prawn crackers, rice etc. Stick to the meat such as duck, ribs prawns and at worst if you have any carbs have only rice as it will be boiled not fried like spring rolls for example. There may well be hidden carbs even without the obviously carby foods hence my suggestion. You could also have a little of the veg too? If you can at all I would avoid the alcohol (sounding more like your mum in this post? Guess I'm getting there!) if you can.

I suggest this is because you are er! impatient. If you want to lose this weight really quickly you need to stick to it without any carbs at all as it will give you water weight gain and you will get down about it. I just want you to be careful and mindful about what you choose to eat because you have come so far. 53/54 days on SnS and in another few weeks you will be closer to goal. It is fine to go off plan if you can get right back on like you did last time but it can sometimes get harder so just be mentally prepared to overcome any wavers. You've done it before and can do it again. x

Lmaooo aww kkiraa ur soo sweet luvya for tht hehe....oooo sayin no to alcohol wil b a tricky one haha bt i have mentally prepared maslf for tht hence y in nt weighin this sunday and also guess waaatt ladiesss iv managed to fit into me second pair of size tens wooop woop yes with a tad bit of cheating all in one bodysuit wich is bit of a pain to tke off for the toilet bt wearin them at wrk as we speak n yes stil bit tight bt can zip them up and button them hehe yaaay....think another stone n half n mayb bit more willl get me there closer to two stone to b safe bt wil ser hw j feel like wen get into the niness hehe....bt once out of the tens never wna see tens on scales eva again....the sun is peekin out tooo lol well the last time i did drink kept it minimum n dint add lot of weight bk on tho do admit dint weigh masel for tht whole weeek lmaooo.....luv u guys for helpin me stay on track....:) :d herez to the nx stone nx step hehe on ma journey mwaaahz

You're sounding really positive. Have a great time and just keep the portions and the carbs under control. Just really enjoy the bits that you do have knowing that you are going to be back on plan next week. You won't be able to eat too much anyway. You're fitting in 10s when you started at 12-14s that is pretty good in two months.


Yh first time im seeing light at the end of the tunnel even tho got a while to go...tdai ended up going to a mexincan plce tather then a chinese plce so had a chicken quesidila bt ima well proud of maself coz dint finish it halved it so gt half for tmo for a drinkin day and asked for no sauce n believe me tht wud nva hace happened before i onli used a tiny bit of hot chilli sayce no chips no xtras at all :) n a salad on the side....as sed before eudv finishd the whole lot even if was feelin full. Bt gt lunch sorted for a drinkin day tmo so score on tht hehe....:) got full relii quickly hehe hopin wont have done too much damage and had one spoon teaspoon size of a brownie js for a taste bt before wudv finishdd a whole one to maself so had it in moderatoon n tried ma best to mke as much helathy choice as possible....:) i am aware tht will need to continue n keep ploddin along n stay 100 percent for the nx few weeks till 21st march :) mwaahz n tons of water hehe x
