Hey!
What did you think of the Evil Dead?? Honestly ;)

I love Teapigs!! I'm not a big fan of tea, but I treat myself to these every so often and they last me aaaaaages! Definitely my favourite tea :D

Well done on the run. I miss running so much :( Must really go back to my Dr's and find out the results of my hip and knee x-rays. I know there's 'something wrong' but I'm hoping maybe I could get knee supports or something for running. Fingers crossed!! x

I loved Evil Dead! It was so gory and gross but still a little bit lame at the same time. deffo go and see it if you can, it's worth it unless you've seen it already?!

There's another film coming out called "The Conjuring" which looks really scary too. I'm going to see that when it comes out :-D

I'd never heard of teapigs till my work colleague suggested I try them instead of the run of the mill herbal teas. I'm definitely a convert but they're quite expensive. That box of different flavours to try - which I chose- was £16 inc delivery :-/

I've got broken cartilage in my left knee but I strap it up and have specialist running shoes from "Runners World" as I over pronate when I run. Both of Those Things make a huge difference. I had a MRI recently and they suggested key hole surgery but I've least signed up, paid and promised to do the Bupa great south run in October with my friend so there's no way I can have the knee surgery yet!

I can't run too far yet but I'm building up my distance and pace at the moment in readiness for October. Plus hubby and I have joined the gym :)

Oh, erm, awkward ..... ;) I have seen The Evil Dead. Don't get me wrong, it has it's moments and I thought the claxon in the soundtrack was a really good touch. But overall, meh. I HATED the original though so I prob have all my feelings for that with this one. I did like the main character though, I really liker her tv show Suburgatory. But yeah, didn't rate with me as a horror. Even the inventive deaths didn't really do it for me. I really do think it's my feelings for the original tho.

I'll have to look up the trailer for The Conjuring. I love horror and have quite a collection. I do seem to prefer foreign stuff, particularly Spanish and Asian. But I will give anything a go. Like I really liked Piranha, but 3DD was awful!
I love going to see horror with my fake brother, coz he's a big wimp. I always sit next to him ;) Have you seen Dark Skies?

I really must go back to my Dr's for my results. Sounds like yours is really serious? Can understand your commitments though, definitely :) I've had hip and knee xrays, but they did think I had swinging patella's anyway. Even just some advice on exercising would be useful from them.

Ha ha I did say I loved it partly because it was so lame :). I haven't seen the original - may have to now tho so I have something to compare it to!

You should go to the docs! It won't get better by itself and take it from the voice of experience - it'll get worse till you really can't ignore it. Oops.

do you get a lot of muesli for the weight? i saw it today and wanted to buy it....but figured that it might not be that much for 35g? x

If I'm honest .... No! It's a tiny amount really but it does taste really nice and if I didn't have this I wouldn't have any breakfast. So for me it's the less of two evils.

it's probably about 3 big mouthfuls :-D

What are you having at the moment for brekkie?

i think i'd like it and i think it would be nice along with fruit salad and yog?

when i'm working i tend to have magic porridge...i love it and making it up in a yog the night before means its quick for me to grab and take it to work to have when i get there...that along with a banana. when i'm not working, i'll usually have a big fruit salad with yog or poached egg, beans etc.
the days i do EE, i'll have the same except maybe syn a low fat sausage or have bacon or whatever.

if i do an EE day and i'm working, i still take the porridge but then have to think more about lunch as the oats are my only HEb for that day

might try the Dorset's stuff...but wish i could see it in a smaller box....when i saw it today i thought..mmmm...but those raisins etc mean extra weight lol

when i first started i'd have weetabix with banana but i don't really have time in the morning so breakfast is always better when i'm off x

Oh the original is just so bad!! The 'special' effects appear to have been done with plasticine and the girl in /that/ scene seems to enjoy it  I don't think I even watched it all the way through!! But yeah, the new one is infinitely better by comparison! I did like some bits and it was pretty inventive. Watch the original for the comedy ;)

I've had my hips and knees x-rayed, just had more important things to talk about when I've been back since. They are pretty bad now :( Will book an appointment for when I next have a decent run of days off work. Old lady joints eh?!

Your food looks lovely btw! And I bet you can't wait to go away :D I'd love to go on holiday with my dogs. But Ellie has 'issues' and I have to keep her away from everyone and their dog (literally) so it would be far too stressful. Poor thing :( The other one, Dave, is the complete opposite and loves everyone and everything and is the happiest creature on earth lol!
What doggies do you have again?xx

The nutty one doesn't have raisins in - it has a ton of half Brazil nuts tho!

Not all of them have raisins - from memory most of them don't but it does say on the back of each box what's in it and it says if no raisins.

When I did EE before I really missed having the 2 Hex's so now I tend to only so green days as I'm a cheese addict!

You sound majorly organised with your magic porridge. I have enough trouble getting my lunch ready for the following day let alone breakfast too Ha ha ha.

You're doing really, really well from your stats. I hope I can do that well :-D

The original sounds erm epic :)
Deffo going to find that. I've told hubby to keep an eye out on Virgin for me only for him to tell me he's got Evil Dead 2 upstairs!! A gift from his ex-wife ha ha. I think she may have tried to tell him something with that present!!!

I'm really trying to vary my food this time but as I'm now only doing green it's a bit more difficult. I missed having two healthy extras with EE so at least with green I can have more luxurious meals eg cauliflower cheese and stuff.

Baxter and hattie are good puppies really. We are going away as Baxter is three on Sunday so it's his birthday present - yes I am serious and yes I am mental ha ha ha.

They're both black Labradors. Baxter has issues with bouncy dogs and he is a bit unpredictable then so he gets put immediately on the lead. Nine times out of ten the other dog will get the message when Baxter ignores him.

Hattie is the same as Dave. She's little miss everything in her stride, relax and love everybody and every dog, cat, person etc! she's textbook perfect puppy as in she will lay down when she sees another dog :-D.

Here's a recent pic of them in their favourite bog!!

aww thanks...and i'm sure you will...if you've done it before then you CAN again ;)
you look super slim in your pics...how much do you want to lose??

i need to be organised....i don't think SW would work otherwise! i cook all day on a monday for snacky things i can take to work (sw quiche, chickpea dahl muffins etc) and as soon as i'm in from work, i prepare all the lunches for the next day and try to think ahead....if i didn't, god knows what i'd end up eating!

the magic porridge is so easy...mix it in before bed and lift it on the way out the next morning....don't actually know what i ate in the mornings before work before i did this....probably rubbish! lol.

this is my 15th week on the plan....i've just done it, nothing any different (each week), just stuck to it so it shows you that you can lose more or less or even put on for no reason at all...after years of trying one thing or another, i've found that i don't think half as much about food doing this...maybe that's cos i don't feel deprived! before i would constantly think about what to have, what i wanted, what i wasn't allowed followed by the guilt...or that rage that i was so hungry but "being good"....it's been refreshing to only have thoughts of food relating to "what are we doing tomorrow so what will i cook" if you know what i mean?
the only time i've eaten over my syns was when i had some buffet at a wedding...i stayed the same that week but other than that, i've been 100%
i go to WI each week with no expectations which is a bonus i think....and the couple of times i've put on, haven't felt angry cos i'd starved all week to get a loss...and missed out on something...i just think aww well....at least i know i didn't do anything wrong (although of course we want 5lb off a week! hehe)

i like the lunches on green days (extra HEb) but sometimes struggle with dinners and love the dinners on EE but struggle with the lunches. until the other week, i just did one green, one EE and it was going ok...been doing more green days recently to see if it was better for days i was working and whilst it is....i need to get mixing the dinners up a wee bit x

It was nearly 4 yrs ago I got to target. I've got 2.5 stone to lose. My pic was taken about a year ago so it's a bit out of date - this is me now (brown hair too)

image-2444366561.jpg

Much chubbier face!!

This time round I'm actually exercising so I hope I can be toned and slim when I get to target.

I agree being organised is essential on SW - no planning = downfall!

My problem was I never ate breakfast before SW so I'd get to work, get my costa skinny vanilla latte from my assistant and then by 11 am have a starvation session and look for cakes in the kitchen which invariably there always is! Now I can happily ignore them completely whilst making my herbal tea or coffee with almond milk which is always left alone by colleagues as they say it smells and looks rank! ha ha ha.

I agree about the rock up to WI without expectation. That's exactly what I did last week which was first WI. Last time I did SW I only lost 3.5 lb in 3 weeks hence I fell off the wagon. That was doing EE whereas this time I'm doing green which is more flexible for me and I've already lost 3lb in one week. Hopefully I will have a loss tomorrow too at WI!
Next week will be the test of staying on track as we are camping with our dogs and its my birthday on Wednesday - I've already vowed to stay on track on Wednesday save for a massive costa skinny vanilla latte (I love them!) and may be a reasonable tasty meal out in the evening. I know how to live on the edge hey!!

Have you got a food diary chick? xxx

i don't...but i'm thinking about starting one...i lurk about on everyone else's and write down everything i eat so think i might....but then everyone else posts pics and it always looks scrummy....maybe i could start without the pics??

i think you look great just the way you are...you don't look like you need to lose weight at all and your face is hardly chubby!! but....i guess it doesn't matter what other people say...we need to feel happy or at least a little better about ourselves eh?!

it's not easy...this weigh problem malarky lol...i honestly believe until someone has had a weight issue, or been unhappy with their weight....then they can't relate properly, to how it is sometimes!

i'm sure you'll do great on your few days away....and you know what, if you end up off plan a wee bit...then you know you can come back and get right into the swing of it ;)

great news on the weight loss....you'll need to post how you get on this week :D x
