That should keep you happy all that zumba!!! I'm going to attempt level 2 of 30 Day Shred tonight. I'll have to do it as soon as I get in because I'm at work until 7. I just wish I had solid floors, I dread to think what my neighbours think when I'm jumping about, I sound like a baby elephant.

Edi last time I was the same even though my body had shrunk I couldn't see it because it stayed the same lumpy shape :( that's why I've taken these photos this time so I'm forced to see the change!!

Just watched embarrassing fat bodies. I feel very lucky! My excess skin, that I complain about, is no where near as bad as some of the people on the tv prog!

Here's Pauline's info.

I'm starting another class at the Friarage Hospital on Monday nights!

I've had a really horrible day at work today :( this afternoon I got so frustrated, I had to bite my tongue a few times to stop from flying off the handle at my colleagues. They were supposed to be helping me with my patients, each of them has certain tasks to do during the procedure and I ended up having to prompt them so many times it would've been easier to do it myself, I got so sick of saying "would you do this?" "will you get that ready?" etc it's so annoying when people are chatting instead of doing what they're supposed to!! Grrr rant over!!

I worked until 7pm then had to go and get petrol, it was gone 8pm when I got home and I really didn't feel like doing 30 Day Shred but I did it, level 2!!! :D I'm going to ache again in the morning but I like the ache, little masochist that I am lol. :D

I've still got another shake to get down me but I don't feel like it!! I've had a chicken breast for tea and feel full, think it was because I glugged a litre of water straight down after 30 DS! Oh well need to have it, might as well have one I'm not so keen on and down it lol.

BIG CREDIT -- Well done, you!
Okay, Sal you have inspired (shamed) me. I will that annoying little b^tch another go and restart my 30 Day Shred, today.

I like the new thread title, too.

And, the loose skin will tone up quite a bit. (The photos are a good idea -- I think that you do not see yourself as others do.) The loose skin improves over time.

When I was on LL I used a body scrub when I showered and the Firmanator after I dried off. I think rubbing alone helped -- and I am back at doing that again.

You Go Girl -- ignore those artery clogging foodstuffs in the staff room! CREDIT!

Helooooooo! Not feeling the Zumba love this week! 2 classes cancelled but my hayfever seems to be playing me up. Only think it's that and not a cold cause my throat is itching badly. Wanna writhe at it! Got 2nd Zumba class starting up 7th July! Wolviston village hall.

Morning Sal,

I hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend. And, do not forget it is Fathers' day on Sunday... your dad sounds like he deserves a good one!

I'm here, still plodding with CD and Shred. Not sure how much good it's doing me, think shred is slowing down my losses but as long as the inches are coming off and my clothes are fitting better that's what counts right?

that's right. :) got another course on 16th july. zumba gold for the older population.

how do u know this? u been on the scales then? x

No but usually by almost 3 weeks of 100% I'm starting to notice a difference in my clothes and I'm not seeing results at all. To be honest I'm completely p!ssed off this morning I decided to measure myself. It's day 11 of Shred so I thought it was time and I gained inches!!! I'm so gutted!!

I've gained 2 inches on my right arm and 1 inch on my left, thighs pretty much stayed the same, lost 1 inch from hips 3 from waist and 2 from chest!! I do not want to be gaining inches on my arms they're bloody huge as it is without gaining inches

I don't know whether to carry on with shred, seeing as it's not doing what it's meant to :( my waist losses I put down to the empty belly feeling from being on CD.

I read on and you measured and it showed you added inches. Is it possible you mis-measured at one time or another? It is very hard to measure yourself. It just does not seem likely, and you said in the post I quoted that your clothes are fitting better.

I am sure that you WILL show a drop soon... your body tend to retain water when you are working out. Be patient.

I don't know maybe, but 2 inches is a lot to mismeasure. I guess I'm going to stick with it and see what happens at the end.

Sal,

I am thinking that you don't sew. It is a lot to mismeasure, but it can be done (and then some). Hence the saying, "Measure twice and then cut once". Even measuring twice I have managed to mess up.

Urgh I'm nights tonight :( 14 hour shift. Boo!! I hate nights with a passion, I'm not meant to be up working while the rest of the population is tucked up in bed, it's wrong!!!

Sal,

Wow... 14 hours! That doesn't sound safe or healthy. I hope you manage okay.

Mel

It's better than my usual 21 hour shift that's a killer and not strictly legal either but because it's classed as "on call" even though we're at work for 21 hours they get away with it. All changes soon when we go to shifts, it'll be 12 hours!! Finally complying with the European Working Time Directive, but some people will lose up to £10,000 of their income. I don't do much over time because I can afford not to, but others rely heavily on it.
