Surfhunny's Countdown to Florida

I feel like this right now in fact :( I can't maintain after being on and off cd/exante since 2009:( it's getting to me if I'm honest. I'm telling myself slow and steady is the way forward now I had my change back in 2009 to maintain and I blew it, it's my own fault isn't it.!

But the fact I am not losing enough weight each week, gaining weight rapidly, and not maintaining I can't but help how much I've screwed up my metabolism I feel so sad !!

But Sally, Melissa is right you are losing the weight :) even if it isn't as fast as you may want it to be, keep strong

I'm still trying again on exante weighing at 12.6 my boyfriend is supporting me

Sorry for thread butting but I've been reading diaries on here and LL it's so hard at times but don't give up Sally

No problem Danii it's actually good to hear that it's not just me. I guess I'm lucky that I never gained it all back on and more. Although I can see how it's easily done! I wish I hadn't ignored my original cut off weight, I should've gone back to see my CDC well before I went to the States last year and then I again immediately after Christmas.

I managed to maintain for 2 years more or less, but spent most of last year try to get back down to goal from the stone I'd gained in the beginning. I'm much more aware now about my eating. I'm lazy and hate cooking for just me so end up with convenience food which is always bad food!

So I'm back to my no exercise until goal plan, as much as it kills me. There is no way I could do the level of exercise I'd need to in order to maintain (not enough hours in the day) so cut back now then when I need to maintain I'll be exercising to burn the extra cals. The logic is there but whether it'll work who knows.

I still have those digestive enzymes in the cupboard Kerry, if they're still in date I might give them another go, they might kick start the whole process.

I know I'm being greedy wanting big losses, it's just that I have so much to lose again, I want it faster. It's depressing when my SIL loses the same as me doing WW and eating pretty much what she wants in moderation. Mind you I know if I did WW I wouldn't lose 2lbs a week consistently like she does, because the potential for cheating with a bit extra here and there is huge.

In the light of day and with a little bit of perspective from my lovely minis family my head is back in the game. I'm looking beyond Christmas to my next US holiday, I won't be making the same mistakes as last year!!

I want out of the 15's!!! They're like a psychological wall!!! Every diet I ever did before CD (SW & WW) I managed to make it into the 15's but never out the other side, it would take me so long to lose that 2 -3 stone that by the time I made it to the lower end of the 15's I'd be so disheartened and feel like I was never going to get to 12st that I'd give up and pile it back on.

So I'm setting a mini goal to be completed ASAP and that's to get into the 14's, away from my psychological brick wall!!!

And this is what's keeping me going.

I look at these two photos every day to remind me!!

Phew I'm for every reading diaries but never sure if to comment. I'm back on exante myself just can't help myself.
You sound very positive :) and keep at it especially as you have the USA to look forward to.
Best of luck and I shall keep reading :) x

You can butt in any time you like in my diary Danii, I appreciate other people's perspectives because it's all too easy to get locked into your own battles and worries, so having outside opinions helps massively!!

I think that like Nikki I'll always turn to a VLCD to shift my weight but I think (at least I'd like to think) that this struggle has taught me a lesson!! When the old habits come back so does the fat! I need to be more in control all the time! I can't allow myself to say 'ah what the heck it doesn't matter'. I always have to have a plan.

Good luck with Exante!! I'm always around for moral support.

Omg wow, that's le two different people! I can't see sigs as on phone but my sis had a couple of low loss weeks and turns out she was constipated, dose of fibre and a successful loo trip later she was back on track lol. Sorry too much info. Are you ss then? Some on here do have a few low weeks but stick to it and it can't not come off.try and look at the monthly loss rather than weekly xxxx

sally what do you weigh hun? how far is it to just under the 15st range?

 15st 4lbs eek there I've said it  About 2-3 weeks away from the 14's at this current rate of losses.

I'm not giving up, I can't stay this weight, I've got works uniforms to fit into, a point to prove and a big fat US holiday to slim down to!

On the plus size my fat jeans feel looser (these arent my fattest of fat jeans, they were a 24, these are a 16). Actually am going to try my US12's on. Be right back!

A Tale of 3 Jeans!!

Goal jeans, can get them on, fasten the button, but the zip won't do up and breathing is impossible!! (US 10)

These fit but give me a muffin top :) (US 12)

Just another couple of minor victories, my rings are loose again, and my birthstone ring fits me again. I need these minor victories to keep me going!!'

Brill! I tell you what my body shape is very odd. Next jeans are a nightmare for me, well their trousers in general. Even at 11st 7lbs I had to wear a 16, it was belted but the 14s gave me a muffin top too. As for tops! If they have a boob place then my boobs don't fit in the gaps provided. I'm a d to dd. Guess they make them for A or B cups!

The only thing I can wear from Next is skirts. I'm the same with the tops, the boob thing is way to high, but I'm a D or DD too. I've given up with Next a long time ago.

Evening Sal --

*Sigh* the only D I ever had was in folk dancing class!

I am glad to see that you are determined to stick with it. You'll do this!

I am wearing mostly US 10s in the low 11 stones (but I am only 5'4") and carry my weight in my hips, bum and bit on the waist. I wear a small top if it is sleeveless and a medium with sleeves (broad shoulders, small bust 34B). But, I am okay with this... as two pregnancies, time and gravity have not effected my bustline all that much. ;)

yep mel, gravity and breastfeeding with me! :D

Hi Sal,

Anyway i just wanted to wish you well and lots of success :Dx

Aw thank you! Good luck with your weight losses, looking forward to seeing how you get on. X

i just like next things though but i'm picky. coats mostly are a no go too. just leggings, jumpers and tops with a bit of stretch that have no boob bits. like it for the kids too.
