Susie58- 2014 the year of my success

Thanks Ladies. Day 31/70 & back on it from today. Just hoping getting back into ketosis & the headache isn't going to be too bad as have a student with me for the next 2 weeks. Will have to ask her not to bring any lunch into the car that smells too yummy :eek:. Stuggling with the fluids today but that's normal for me until about day 2. Plan to start back on the bike & Orbitrex tomorrow as the exercise will help me stay on track. No if's & but's about it now as only 5 weeks till holiday & have to pull out all the stops if I want to get any decent loss under my belt by then. x

That's fighting talk mrs! In the zone :) x

Day 32/70 & been starving all day. Had a porridge with a few blueberries & its seems to have filled a bit of a gap. Still struggling with drinking the water at the moment. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier in that regard. No headache yet so fingers crossed in that regard.

Managed 4 miles on exercise bike but now my son & his girlfriend are back home so no more exercise for today.

Was tempted to get on the scales to see what damage has been done over the last 10 days but will resist till next Wednesday as planned. They have been put away on top of the wardrobe for the time being x
 
Hope the rest of the day went well for you Susie, hopefully you'll soon have ketosis heaven and the hunger will be gone...good luck for day three xx

Day 33/70 and head is banging like a goodun. Early night for me I think. Still have 2 packs to force down but stomach is feeling a bit queasy too. Hurry up ketosis x

Day 35/70 & still got the headache so its a gently, gently day I think. No signs of ketosis yet, seems to be taking a while to get here this time. x

Decided I needed to continue with some exercise so took some pain killers & ended up doing 10 miles altogether, 6 on the bike & 4 on the Orbitrek.

Been thinking things over regarding weighing & have decided not to weigh until the morning of holiday. My record has shown that I'm not good diet wise when I feel under pressure & with only 5 weeks to go I don't want to be distracted or ruled by the rate of loss. As long as I stay TSing & continue to exercise there is nothing else I will be able to do to speed up the loss anyway. I think it will be better to just go by how loose my clothes feel. Will aim for daily exercise & will do a minimum of 5 miles each day for the next 5 weeks as exercise tends to make or break things for me regarding staying on track.

So far had porridge & 3.5L fluid but headache is being very persistent x

Sounds like a good plan to me Susie, as you say looking at the scales won't help you lose any more weight - you do whatever works best for you, we're with you 100% xx

Thanks Katie, I feel much more comfortable with this plan. I always end up sabotaging myself when I get close to going on holiday & I think it is due to the frustration of the scales not moving quickly enough. Hopefully a different tactic will work.

I still need to have some record though of showing that I have stayed on track so will post the miles I have done each day to make sure that I do the at least the minimum mileage planned :fingerscrossed:

I once didn't weigh for months when I was doing a healthy eating plan (end of last year) and it turned out I'd lost 2 stone..... Found that much easier :) xx

Well done for the exercise. I'm like you. Exercise helps me to get in the zone.

Day 36/70 and a good diet day.

Managed 7 miles so far today. Will try for 3 more on the bike a little later but still got a headache so will see how it goes.

Had a student with me today who is on some kind of green coloured juice diet. Lets just say that out of the two of them I prefer the breath that ketosis gives you :eek: .
