8It was! And it was knew of those nights where you don't really feel like going out, you plan on being home early, etc, but then it turns out everyone's on great form and you all just eat and drink and laugh and laugh... man, I totally needed that!

Ok, this morning I came to a decision after reviewing my last weeks worth of food. I need more fresh fruit and veg in my life. Therefore, will be aiming for 5-10/day from this point on.
Just thought I'd mention it.
Right, just settling down for some mushy pea curry and chips and broccoli, but too hot to eat, so will get today's diary down..
Breakfast; coffee, milk, sugar(2 syns)
Sparkle juice
Bites of orange, banana
Lunch, SW pulled pork with rice, spinach and lettuce salad with grated apple and Hellmans fat-free dressing, 1/4 bread bread roll again, that my son wasn't eating. Cuppa tea, milk, sugar (2 syns)
Nibbles; 2 squares dark choc (2 syns), seafood sticks... is that it? Could've sworn I'd munched more, but now honestly can't think if what it would have been. Or when I would have fit it in!
Supper; head of broccoli - eaten in two sittings - SW chips, SW mushy pea curry with chicken breast slices.
Not ready to total yet, but not far off!
Small(ish) red wine

5 a Day; 5. Meh. Thought I had more, with my double broccoli feast and whatnot. This might be a bigger challenge than I realised.
I used to get my ten a day by having smoothies in the morning, but I'd have to syn that bigtime, so don't want to go the smoothie route this time round.
