Taking a diet sabbatical...

Starlit_Cazza

Restart 3/9/2013
This year I have lost 93lb/6st 9lb, 27% of my starting weight and knocked 15 points off my BMI and 15" off my waist. Nice. Taking a little sabbatical from Cambridge now due to surgery on Thursday... but I will not regain the weight I have lost and I will be back to finish this journey in the very near future :)

Good luck everyone, I will still be popping in when I manage to get back online. If I can do it, anyone can :)

Utterly amazing Cazza! You really a great example of determination! And someone who always has lots of wise and kind words for others! Good luck with your surgery my dear! Get well really quickly! :bighug:

Thanks GemJar - wow look how close you are to target now! AMAZING!

Thanks! I'm almost there! :) Maybe a few pounds more below my target weight so the water weight doesn't phase me lol! But then the real test of determination begins! Must say I am a tad scared going bk to eating 'normally'! Training wheels have to come off eventually!

You have done so well cazza - good luck with the surgery and come straight back here and let us know how you are!

Thanks. Surgery went ok. Needed more work and slightly different surgery than first planned so was under quite a long time! Ended up staying in overnight and still in hospital now... Should be released late afternoon once I have seen physio and got medication...

Going to be in plaster 3 weeks instead of 2 unfortunately, but overall healing should be about the same.

Very dehydrated today. Only had two slices of toast yesterday. Today had same plus chicken breast and rice for lunch. Not much appetite but need to eat! Not sure I can weigh myself accurately until plaster comes off as that is heavy! No doubt I will still weigh myself and focus more on the pounds going down and not up until I am plaster free!!!

Glad you are ok - even if it didnt go as expected. Hope you recover fast Ans are back to join us soon:)
