evening! it's been 'sunshine and showers' all day. went into town to get some bits n bobs, called by my parents for a cuppa, then home for steak with cauli cheese and mushrooms, and now on 2nd glass of wine.....ah time to relax!

Glad you got a quietish night Marty - nice bonus for being so good and working again after your mega-busy week.

Hope you're really really enjoying the wine - you deserve it.

mmm loved the wine, managed 2 glasses before the crash out came!

worked it out again, did 10 shifts in 11 days!! 3shifts, 1 off then 7in a row, goodness!
and i had terrific news last night too.... i have a flat which i used to live in, is now for sale (over a year on the market) and i have tenants in it meantime, they are moving out next week, but last night arranged a new one, friend of my son, so i know he will be fine, so, that is a major ease in the finances, paying for 2 houses is hard going at times!
and this time i am getting the full rent, have only being getting half for the last 6 months, but it was better to have good tenants than more money and have house wreckers.

Great news on the flat. It's really tough when properties are empty both income and worries about maintenance, insurance etc.

lovely day yesterday, long lie, nice brekkie, then pottering around outside. got all the horsey stuff organised and stored out near the stable, so no more messy back porch and trekking across the garden to get it. cleaned out the chicken/goose houses lit the bonfire and got all the shrubbery cut offs burned, been lying in the field all winter drying. my friend and her wee lass came round, had a good old chinwag. steve cut some firewood and put the final strip off roofing felt on the shed, hurrah, no more blue strip! i love a day like that.
then off to our neighbours/friends for the evening, copious wine and lovely snacky food.
she does weightwatchers, and so when together we do buffet style stuff, it's surprising how well it works for us both to enjoy while keeping on track with our diets.
we went to watch come dine with me with them...seeing as she was starring in it last night!

today....will get up soon, going to give my car a good mucking out this morning, inside and out, not been done since it's last offroad expedition, it's really bogging.
then back to bed for a rest before nightshift tonight.
