We had a roast chicken tonight (Mr tesco killed it for us!) or should I say ran it over with a truck? It was lovely amn he meat just fell off it without being dry but where ou would normally have to hack off the legs etc the bones were already broken and it was simple!

plucked, cleaned, looking like an approximation of what one buys in the supermarket....a bit more hacked than butchered lol!

going to freeze them for later use, got cheeseburger pie in the oven for tonight, and as working the next three days, won't be here for meals.

time to relax now! some tv, dinner, ah love sunday evenings

Bren I'm totally happy with things being killed for me to eat, yet also strangely happy with NOT having to be the one who does the actual killing, LOL. Well done Taz on putting your money where your mouth is pet.

Can't wait to see you and Steve next weekend - when will you arrive at your hotel Marty? Will you make it to where we are for a few drinks on the Friday? Is it far away?

well, i'm not sorry there in the freezer not the oven!
it's been difficult, but something we felt we had to do. i tell people they shouldn't be driving unless they can change a wheel, check the oil etc, and so i feel i have carried that kind of thought a step further.

i'm not sure i would be so fat if i had to personally kill everything i eat!!!!

ww, our friday hotel is about 2 hours away from you all, but it will be late when we get there but still, be better to be fresher for the saturday, can't wait to meet you too!!!

Lol, my parents initials were also M&S. My Dad had a ring with S&M on it as my Mum refused to have it the other way round. Hmm don't think S&M had quite the same meaning in the 50s lol.
