Team ideal

Hi all, any room for one more in team ideal?? Today's my first day on Cambridge and have a long journey ahead of me!! I'm currently just over 22 stone but looking to get down to about 14 eventually then decide on a final goal weight from there!!

I've found myself on this site for the last 3 hours just reading people diaries and looking at the before and after pics, reading them has made me realise I can actually do this and I'm sure having the support from others in the same boat as me will help a lot (doesn't feel the same when its someone who hasnt got a pound of fat on them telling me I can do it lol)

Hope everyones having a good day!!

:D

Hello CD guy welcome :)

Hope not, I'd have trouble getting up, nothing is easy when your a fatty ;)
One thing I'm really bad at is water, I'm only drinking about half the amount I should. Going to get that flavoured water from tesco later xxx

Could always break the amount of water and the day down

Say aim for 1litre by midday another by 5pm etc?

:D thanks everyone!! Had a look back through the posts on here, really positive, being part of a team working towards the one goal can only be a good thing!! With between 8 to 10 stone to lose I reckon I might be here for a while haha ;) but I promise I won't get involved when you lovely ladies are bi***ing about us ****** guys lol, I'll just hide in a corner somewhere :D x

On the contrary, we could do with a fellers opinion! If ya brave enough? Lol

Hey everyone wee update about the flavoured water I spoke to my CDC today and she said to stay clear of it as it will contain hidden sugars even if it's citric acid free! She said she would rather I stick to the Cambridge flavouring and go over the one teaspoon a day rather than have flavoured water from tesco etc xx

I'm going by clothes size rather than weight 12/14 I wanna be in just so I can go shopping and buy what I want rather than what fits me

Did u eat a chip btw ??

Go put yourself in the bath, or make him eat it in the car lol . One chip will hurt, the carbs will kick you out of ketosis and you'll be bak to day one. It is soooooooooo not worth it. Ye you'll enjoy it for the second it's in your mouth but then you'll feel awful for doing it, awful about yourself. You're better than it. Step away from the chips and drink more water lol x

Lol to get him to eat it in the car!!! I've hidden in the bedroom, hopefully The smell won't reach in here! Ure right, just not worth it. He's just brought it (the offending item - food) in the house now so having a shake

Thank you

I've set a goal weight but also size is the most important thing to me. I just want to feel comfortable and think that will come at a size 12.

Listen willpower stand by your name now woman don't u dare touch that fat greasy 2lb on if u eat it chip :) my kids jus had chippy too I smelt it then had me leek and potato soup lol

Lol I consider myself told ;)

Heading to bed in a minute but something to think about. Do you, and if so what with, plan to reward yourself when you get to goal? I've always thought I'd like a little tattoo. I initially wanted one on my lower back but now I'm thinking I'd like something to represent the journey and maybe on my wrist or somewhere where I can see it to remind me of it and be proud of. What about you guys x

I think if u go by a weight u will become obsessed I just wanna be able to buy nice clothes instead of frumpy and black

Def stay away from the scales. No two pair are the same. There's a saying in rbs diary can't remember it exactly something like.... A man with one pair of scales knows what he weighs, a man with two pairs is just confused. Very true x

I have to say after initially finding it very difficult I am now liking not stepping on the scales! It's keeping me focused!

Also it's helping me to focus on the scanges to my body (essential to a fast weigh loss diet) instead of a number on the scales.

I agree bin em (or at least put them away for now) :)

Stay strong, you can get thru this. They'd probably be horrible anyway. If you're really worried about caving you could always make him eat them outside (I would even if I felt strong, just to teach him a lesson lol) xx

Lol bless him he asked me first tho he's such a sweetie I'd feel like a right Cow saying no!!! ESP after him being so supportive! (so much more than he has done in the past as he doesn't agree with diet - always been skinny doesn't get it!)

Plus it's raining - soggy chips do not a happy bf make! lol
