and off with our heads if we dont do it! How much would a head weigh do you reckon? Mine must be very very heavy as its full of very useful information xxx

Average Weight of Human Head

I couldn't find any references for this online, so I asked around my workplace (the Department of Anatomy & Histology, University of Sydney). The most convincing response came from the service room where the technical officers actually cut up the bodies:
"An adult human cadaver head cut off around vertebra C3, with no hair, weighs somewhere between 4.5 and 5 kg, constituting around 8% of the whole body mass."


............... so prob bout 10/11 pounds ish x

lol...think you have even more info in your head now, it's probably a lb heavier.

Anyway i am aiming for a good weight loss next week, gonna try success express for half of week.

Ok all...WI this morning....lost 1.5 lbs....would have been more i am sure, but yesterday we had to get lunch when we were out ( from a petrol station) an it wasn't until I was done that I realised the pasta salad I had was 85g of FAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! what a freak out. Now normally I look at those things and know they aren't the best...but that is taking the mick if I ever heard it. But I still managed to lose weight...so I am a happy girl.

A grand total of 4 pound in week two! - we had a lot of STS's!

Dont think its looking very promising, although no batteries in the scales at the moment (Will buy some today) hows yours looking? x
 
Well as I didn't go to WI last week cus I'd put on 3lb by my scales technically a STS at WI will be the 3lb but I don't want a STS, I want to lose!
