The 100k step challenge!

Hi all! I have my pedometer on daily for the past year now as I was curious to see how active I was at work (and useful to tell me the time!) When I'm at work the numbers can vary day to day but there is some movement- it's the weekends that the numbers are really low! :(

This is a really good challenge for me to do, especially upping the steps on those long lazy weekends :)

I finally hit 100,000 plus!

I am not sure if I recorded Saturday's steps -- but Sunday's were 6,327. I was out shopping all day, but we were able to park right in front of most of the shops.

Found Saturday's steps written down as I was leaving yesterday and reset the pedo: a pathetic 3,934.

I am now on Day 13 and have still not reached the 10,000! If I do 11,522 today... I could end my misery and start over trying to do the 100,000 in ten days (which is the very least one should do IMHO).

Day 13: 13,234!!! I did it! I did it!
101,712!

(And, all from doing housework, I never left the house yesterday... I must have walked those several thousand steps moving dishes from the kitchen to the diningroom and office -- then the reverse.)

Now to try and do 100,000 in ten days or less. (At the very least improve on this effort.)

Day 4 total = 20929... went for a 6 mile walk before work and walked a lot during work!!

Total after 4 days = 44738 :)

I was kind of impresses with my total until I saw Curlz and Nem's! Still a good number for me:

Day 1 on Round 2: 13,091!


Your total is still impressive!!

I went too far and my foot is sore today so ill be pulling back today and probably have a low total today... it all balances out in the end!

thought about back to the wii for just dance but also thought about the 30 day shred :eek: everytime i attempt it though i get injured so it's sort of made me a bit wary, we'll see :D

Its the lady trainer from biggest loser,Gillian Michael she has a fitness DVD (see picci)it has 3,20 min workouts which progress by level of intensity...:)

Hmm bloody painful does not sell it for me!!! Think i will definitely pass it by at this point of my life :D
 
Your right, 20 minutes is not long but i can find more fun things to do! I have the Zumba dvds, think id rather dance like a nutter and smile than do a workout where i may grimace in pain!! :)
 
Day 5 total is pretty poor but i did little moving about. Total is 2324
