Morning all. :)
Im quite upbeat today so just going to see how the day pans out. Last work day for me this week. I could get used to these 3 day weeks!
My 'diet' aim is to have 3 full meals a day. Yesterday worked really well as i was so full up i didnt pick in between. Lets see how i go...

Hope you all have a lovely day. X

I think the 3 meals a day idea is a winner - I got to my heaviest weight by snacking in between meals (which were small and didn't fill me cos I was trying to lose weight!) I've learnt now to have lots of fruit and veg and trying to make interesting meals - but of course, ur already doing that aren't u??

Morning.
I had a horrible awakening this morning. Car wrapped around a tree hysterical crying, ambulances, air ambulance, fire engines. Now i can see a bit theres a car roof been thrown in churchyard. I hate things like this. My kids are all excited wish they understood what this could potentially mean. :(

Judging by the emergency presence here im thinking fatallity! Its been going on since 530.

Todays agenda quite boring really. C25k run, housework washing ironing. When hubby home later we going to go see his mum. Shes in a home has severe dimentia doesnt know who we are most times heartbreaking but we can't not visit! I always walk out extremely sad for the life she has now. :(

Hi Minniemouse (i love minnie!)

Dimentia is cretainly not campaigned about enough, we really struggled with the whole thing its now coming up to 5 years and although we've come to terms with it, its been a horrible journey. We've already grieved and tbh it would be a release if she we're to go now. Why do i always feel so bad thinking that?

Just police left now, road still closed looks from my bedroom like 1 car only. No doubt waiting for breakdown truck and some sort of investigation going on measuring photographing etc.

Cheesecake is very simple - its sugar free jelly (i use morrisons own no syns)
Mix with only half the water it states and let it cool down, then whisk with quark and let it set on crushed alpen lights. I normally microwave 4 bars for 30 sec flatten and leave to harden up again before pouring mixture ontop. I have done it with fruit inside but prefer it cut fresh on top. Any flavours work lemon with lemon drizzle alpen lights, orange with double choc slpen lights, i have tried toffee mullerlight quark and gelatine cut bananas which is a little like banofee pie but the gelatine can taste quite bitter so just trial and error with that.

Oh no, what a thing to be woken by. No doubt driving too fast and lost control, that so just me being cynical, people drive so fast these days without considering the possible consequences. I have no personal experience of dementia but I know it us a very cruel disease. In my opinion, it is harder on the families as I assume those suffering don't know any different so don't a ppreciate what they have lost? Anyway, hope your day is ok and you don't get too upset.

Im cynical too, young kids showing off driving too fast got quite a sharp bend there too. We could be completely wrong but...

Anyway confession no.1 looking out the window have consumed a bag of thorntons dark chocolate marzipans.
Were bought for car ride to centreparcs now need to buy more!

Oo what a scary start to the day! Hope everyone involved is ok.

as for Thornton-gate, accept and move on. Try not to let it dictate the rest of the day (easier said than done I know).

dementia is awful! My nan had it for around 12 years and my mum looked after her, it was so sad. I hope your MIL is having a good day and that you enjoy your visit.

what munching a do you have planned for today?
