The Check-in Point

Hey, did you go to see that film in the end? I want to see it too! I've been busy for the past couple of days making my anniversary present for the beau. It isn't until 6th September but once I get an idea in my head I get too excited and need to finish it. I will have it done tomorrow at this rate. I've made him a box that flaps open into a photo album with a photo for every month of the last two years, with 110 things I love about him in there, then it has a sound module that plays part of a song when it opens, and I've bought a kilo, more than a kilo in fact, of love themed/pink sweets that will sit inside. I'm a soppy git at heart, so you can see why I'm so excited. :D

Diet wise, I'm well on track. I have felt a bit bloated in the past day or so, and noticed I haven't lost anything in my midweek check up. I'm sure it'll all be good in the end though! Just sticking to it. I haven't been the the gym in a couple of weeks now, with being so busy, but I'm hoping to get back to it next week, and give it a good go until my membership runs out. I really shouldn't waste it so much now, I should get what I can out of it!
 
Aww, it sounds lovely, really thoughtful :). It'd be totally unappreciated by my hubby but I'd love it. It's so cool that you've put music in it too! Lucky fella.

I did see the film, it was really funny. The hubby had seen it last week so we've been quoting it :) definitely worth a watch.

You do need to gets yourself off too the gym. It's so hard when you're working so much you've no time for anything else isn't it? Are you planning not too renew your membership after it expires? What will you do then?

I'm pleased that you're still going strong honey. I'm doing okay, foods been a bit odd this weekend but still on track programme wise. I need to go off for a run tomorrow, I've not been since Friday and I can't leave more than 2 days gap between runs. I've also got my friend coming for lunch tomorrow, hmm might mean I've not got time for a run in that case, so will have too be tues, pah! At least she likes to eat healthily so I should be okay there.
 
Morning! I'm nearly out of bed and need to go for a run this morning, though I'm trying to think of all the reasons why it would be okay not to go (I'm feeling all snuggly and sleepy - don't feel like exercising). I should go though as not been since Friday and I've been over eating a bit the last couple of days.

Just stopping by to say hello. I will be starting on the Old WW points shortly. Until then im gathering as much information as i can about it. I did it years ago and it worked. The new pro points has never worked for me or slimming world as i can never tell when im full. I'm either still hungry or over full.
I'm 36, recently married and have no children yet although we are working on that!
At my lowest i weighed 7.10 ibs and at my heaviest i weighed 12 stone. I'm only 5 ft. I was 8.8 for my wedding in May and felt good there so that is my aim although if i got back to 9 stone i would be happy.
 
Hiya! I was the slimmest I have been since I was a teenager when I got married - loved it! Mind you looking back at some of the pics of that time I looked a little scrawny around my face and boobs, so don't plan to get that low again. Feel free to hang around though, whatever plan you're doing! xx How's VLCD going?
 
Going OK so far. I'm on day 6. I had a sneaky step on the scales today and shows a 10 ibs drop. I was 10.7.8 last Thursday morning and this morning i was 9.11.8.
I know when i eat real food again i will gain all the water etc but for now i just want to look good in a dress for my brothers wedding.
 
Blimey, 10 lbs! That's a drop and a half! What a first week!
 
Very low calorie diet. I'm doing the new you plan. A bit like slim and save. Its just shakes, soups, meals and bars. A quick fix.
 
Well I thought it was very low calorie diet, but not certain as never done it myself, don't know ins and outs either.

*sigh* so it appears that I have put a pound on this week. I have been feeling a bit bloated and like I could eat a house but it's still a bit disappointing. Hopefully it's just a blip, I'll check tomorrow.

What's everyone up to? I think I might get the sewing machine down today (saw a cool little tutorial for a mini wallet) and were off to a free council play day this afternoon. I think I need to fill my day and think less about what I'm eating!
 
Don't worry, Hules! 1lb isn't the worst thing that could happen! I've already said in the 6 week thread that I have eaten all day. I've made myself ill with all this eating.
 
I had fish and chips last night. They were nice, and I think I need deed a bit of a blow out, but I still feel full this morning so not much chance of changing my result.

That behind me I now need to get back to it. We're off to the farm today (in the rain :S) so a nice day out hopefully with a packed lunch so not to much food (fingers crossed).
 
You'll be fine! I think once you have a blow out you can get straight back on it. I'm 3lbs heavier this morning than yesterday, through the sheer amount of food I ate. I'll have to be on my best behaviour for the rest of the week. With that huge loss last week, and being 3lbs heavier today, I'm probably looking at an STS, but that still equals to 2.5lbs a week, which is good!
 
Thanks ladies! The farm was great though not long spent with the creatures as there wad go carts to be ridden, big slides to be sledged down and sand to be buried in. However the lizards went down well ds now wants a bearded dragon!

I ate well all day, then came home and nibbled ALL evening :( I must get back on it now, I can feel myself wobbling (in more ways than one). I'm off camping next week for a few days so won't be able to get on here, I really don't want to lose it yet. Oh and got TOTM yesterday so there you go!

Must go and plan my meals, have a nice day peeps x
 
Oh no, Hules! I admit, I caved again last night after work and had a massive portion of chips from the chippy. I don't feel myself wobbling so much, but I'm on slippery turf and I could easily still fall back into old habits. We need to nip this in the bud for certain!

I bought a load of new foody things, like Chinese curry and chow mein sauce to feel like I'm eating luxuriously all the time, but I have no veg so this can end badly with overeating on points. I'll give those a miss for now, though even my pasta is high points cuz it's egg pasta, and always has more calories than the cheap stuff.

How is everyone else doing?
 
That's what I'm feeling too! You def need to get some veggies in! We have veggies a plenty, it's just that I want other naughtier things!

Anyway I had my cereal and managed to resist a piece of toast which is positive. I'm going to distract myself with other stuff as far as possible today. I made a cover for my ww note book yesterday. I'm thinking the sewing machine may be the way to go!
 
I've not been terribly good on the diet front this week. I haven't exactly gone over my points, but I've been eating all the wrong things. I've also been finding it really hard to stick to, which could be down to my weight being 2lbs heavier than when I weighed last week. Keep feeling as though I needn't bother since I'm not losing anything this week. I don't have TOTM so I'm not entirely sure how my weight has gone up.

Ho hum...
