16.5/32 oh dear!!! I haven't done as well as i'd hoped!

Might might might drag my sorry ass out at 3pm today to see what I can do. I'm 99% sure it won't be like last tues doing nearly 10k but I will try to do something at least!

I'm going for a 7.5k 6am tomorrow, hope I can drag myself out of the bed!

Thanks. Blisters are all gone thankfully. Haven't been running since- husband is Away with work so have no one to watch the kids. May try a 50k month challenge but he's not back til end of June so may have to wait! X

That's good the blisters are gone! Don't blame you not running since but hope you're able to get out for one soon!

Ok maybe a little harsh on myself, it absolutely chucked it down from 2.30-4 here and I just didn't go :(
 
Completed my first run today in ages. Needless to say I struggled to complete the full 30 mins but that was to be expected. Completed 4.1km in 31 mins. Tomorrow will be a rest day for me :) Might go for a walk tomorrow if I have time.

Don't beat yourself up too much. We all have times when we don't get out, whatever the reason. If you get angry with yourself then not going becomes huge and it becomes harder to head out again.

Put it in the past and start afresh tomorrow

Aww bless you you didn't fail and you're not a loser! I wouldn't have gone either in the rain! Just dust yourself down and try and nip out for a quick one if you get a chance over the next few days :)

I've not been running for a whole week?! I'm going to set myself a few targets this week.
 
Managed a 5k this morning at 6am, was planning on going further but felt really tired and my legs were sore so happy with that for today! May attempt another run tomorrow we'll see!

70K so far!

I wouldn't go either if it was chucking it down!! The few times I've ran in the rain it's because it started raining when I was already out and nowhere near home so I had to continue... I cried each time!

I have a dentist appointment in the morning and then a meeting at 11am so not sure if I will get out for a 5k run but I'm going to try a good 20 min run instead. Unless it's raining!

Also managed to wangle another Parkrun session not this week but the one after. Hoping Mr Fittie is there again!!
 
Hi :) is it ok for a complete beginner to join? I am only on week 3 of c25k and am signed up for race for life in July. Also just want to get generally fitter as well as losing weight with sw. I can only dream of doing some of the distances on here! ;-) x

Welcome bobcat! We all started somewhere :) C25K is the absolute best way to get going so you're doing great if you're on week 3! Best of luck :)

I started with a C25K in January and I'm running the Race for Life in June... it's an excellent motivator and means you can't skip out so easily on training. Have you heard of Parkrun? Another great motivator and runs weekly at parks all over the UK
 
Does anyone on here have a Fitbit?
