Thanks Clair....yeah I am totally relieved. I was worried it was gonna take me weeks to get back into the 13's again and I would have been so de-motivated!!

I reckon you are half woman, half sponge :p

Although, it does make me think, that you may have to go a bit lower than your goal, so that when you do start eating, it balances its self out, if you know what I mean :)

I rekon your right about the sponge bit Marge. And about going a bit lower in my goal so I can allow for that when I eat.

I have never known anything like it....first shocked at how much I gained then shocked at how much came off....I mean a stone in 4 DAYS!!!:eek: Only wish it would continue to come off that fast...I would be at goal in no time!! haha

I wonder if anyone else has had similar experiences or is it just me being abnormal...hmmm..x

I've never gained or lost quite that much but I do gain and lose about 7/9lbs.

It usually happens when I have lots of carbs or sugar.

Glad you managed to drop the squatters so quickly :)

I did gain that much when I did aamw then got it all back off the week after. That was mainly protein.
This time I was on holiday and have to admit I did have a lot of carbs.
I just seem to gain a lot no matter what I eat....its no wonder im fat!! haha:)

So Exante will help me to get it off but I currently have no idea how I am going to keep it off!! Still long way to go thill then so I will worry about it nearer the time I think...oh and always keep a supply of Exante in the cupboard!! lol..x

Yes Cybill, it has been very up and down. To be fair, I think from reading peoples stories on here, I seem to be an exception rather than the rule, but it just means I might find things more difficult than others maintaining when I get to goal. I will cross that bridge when I get there though...one step at a time!!

Fingers crossed for a good loss next week too..xx:)

This diet is is quick to reward but, will punish us all when we step out of line....as I know too well:rolleyes:

Today has been pretty uneventful thankfully. Not felt too hungry today which is great as past 2 mornings I have woke up starving!!

Not drank enough water but had plenty of coffee so suppose Im not doing too bad!!

Lets hope the rest of the week goes as well as today!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Ooohhhh we'll be able to compare loses now my wi is same as yours!! Can definitely see your thinking with doing it on a Sunday as it's my exact same reason too!!!! Can i ask what you weigh now (if you don't mind me asking??) I know what you were before you went but lost track with all the gaining and losing :D xxx

I know what you mean about losing track...I was 13st 11lb when I weighed on Sunday...I have put it as a new start weight in my signature as I feel like I have been messing around and not really getting anywhere for ages. So by my calculaions that makes us about the same give or take a pound eh?

Felt fine today until I have come in from work and now I am having food thoughts!!:rolleyes:

We were having a discussion today again about this diet and I kind of felt like I had to defend it to someone. She thinks it is bad for you to only eat 600 cals per day and that it must make your body eat away at its muscle! I tried to tell her that ketosis is only burning off the fat faster and because I am still consuming calories, my body is not eating away at itself!!
She is currently trying to follow slimfast but was starving hungry!! She was saying she dosent know how I can go all day without eating! The annoying thing is, I know that she was taking the fact that she cant last on 2 shakes out on me because I can cope all day without food very easily where as she was grumpy because she was hungry!! Thing is, she only wants to lose 10lb and she could lose that in a week on exante!! I explained I cant do a diet where I lose a pound a week as I would be so de-motivated but she still seems to think if it takes longer to come off you will manage to keep it off!! (tosh!!)

Anyway, my mini goal is to get to 13st or just under by 3rd july as its my friends wedding and I have a lovely new dress which will look much better if I am 12 st something!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:..xx
 
Naughty friends...why can they not support us instead of cast their own judgements on what we chose to do? I get it all the time babe- best thing is not to listen so you don't get their demons in your head. You're doing great guns and on for a whopper loss again this week me thinks xxx
 
Is slim fast not one of the worse shake type diets to follow, because of the sugar content ?
I am sure I read that somewhere on here.

I believe it was yourself Miss Mac, that said to me, that it was better to be on a VLCD, than be many stones overweight. I have been poised ready to say that to someone since you pointed it out to me, and not one single person has dissed VLCD to me since :rolleyes:. Typical eh ?

Get those food thoughts oot yer heid... get in the bath for a long soak and then moisturise yourself when you come out , whether you need it or not !! :D

Yeah I personally think slim fast is not the best diet in the world....it still encourages you to snack between meals for a start, but I would never diss anyone on it. Like I said to her today, everyone who needs to lose weight, needs to find a diet that works for them. If its not the right diet for you then you aint gonna stick to it. I cannot stick to a diet that gives small losses each week and I get bamboozled with food choices. I find exante simple and effective and do-able (when im in the zone!! hehe!):p

And yes it was me Marge that said about being obese is worse than being on a VLCD...Im sure it was on a medical show and it was a doctor that said the negative effects and complications of being obese far outweighed the negatives of a VLCD and infact, if an obese person manages to lose some of the weight on the VLCD, then the health benefits to that person are huge! I told her that, and my other colleague who has lost 8 stone on SW agreed with everything I was saying eventhough she lost her weight on a different diet!

Oh and I have to admit, I had to have a WS today.:eek: I have no idea what went wrong, I wanted food, I had a bath, I didnt want food, I lay on my bed, I wanted food, I drank some water, I didnt want food....in the end the demons won and I had a cheese salad!!:eek:

I will be better tomorrow!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:...xx
