Morning diary. Eek, 1 week until Christmas today!! I am sooo excited :D

Really over the moon with my half lb loss last night. It wasn't expected at all. I'm 100% back on the wagon now though as I don't want to ruin things for myself before Christmas has even arrived. Plus I get weighed next Monday, which is a week short, so I need to be really good and do lots of damage limitation to make sure my naughties of last week don't catch up with me. Would love another loss to set me up for Christmas!

Got a busy day today, it's all go! It's our team Christmas lunch at work today, and as I said previously we're off to Pizza Express. Not a problem as I've already chosen to have a salad, and we're going back to work so can't have alcohol anyway. Diet Coke it is! And then I'm off to the cinema tonight with my family to see The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Will keep my second HExB for that and steer clear of the Pic'n'Mix. I'm determined that nothing is going to get in my way this week!!

Just back from Pizza Express. Wow, the salad was enormous!! It was really tasty though, and will keep me full up for the rest of the day. Handy to know in case anyone is eating out there at any point!

Morning diary, Happy Thursday. Only today and tomorrow left at work and then it's the Christmas Holidays. Woop woop!! :D

Was really proud of myself at the cinema last night. I took my BabyBels, HiFi and Freddo with me and a can of diet Irn Bru, and I stuck to it! Whilst my mam, dad and brother were all tucking into popcorn and Pic'n'Mix. My brother was eating some of those fizzy bubblegum bottles and I could smell them. I could have snatched one out of his bag but I resisted and stayed within my Syns! :giggle: Didn't think that much of the film though if I'm honest. I think they should have just made one film as there is really no need to have such a short book stretched out over three 3hour films. I think it's obviously been all about making money. It just felt as though in that time nothing much really happened. Will go back and see the final one next year though, as you cant see the first two parts and then not finish it off! I definitely prefer the LOTR films.

Got another busy day today. Lots of stuff going on at work - basically making sure I have everything done that needs to be done before I break up tomorrow. And then I'm going round to Warren's for an hour or two before he starts nightshift again. And once I'm done there I might pop to Tesco for a few bits and pieces. I want some of my wine for over Christmas and might just have a general look around, see if anything takes my fancy. SW friendly of course!!

I'd be a starvin' marvin' and my portions normally aren't very big! x

Oooh no, it's started again lol! :giggle: There was some debate not so long ago on my diary about my portions / meals. Honestly, I tend to go through phases where I can't physically eat a lot. I can never eat 3 meals a day anyway, but there are times when I am just not hungry at all. Especially with having Green / Red days, my HEx's always keep me full up or are there if I need a little something to keep me going. Also with being so busy, I find I'm not hungry. On quiet days where I don't have a lot to do I often think I am just eating "because I can" - something I don't see the point in. The whole point of SW is to eat to your appetite. I think everyone is different and our appetites all differ too. Mine changes from one day to the next. But trust me, I am not someone who could ever starve themselves. If I am hungry I will definitely eat! Don't worry :) x

I guess it just stuck out for me because I would always plan to have 3 meals a day with snacks in between but then sometimes when it comes round to it, I'm maybe just not hungry enough for dinner or too busy for lunch etc. I would never purposely only plan in the morning to have as little as that!

I didn't mean it in anyway that implied you were starving yourself, I know that you have a perfectly normal and healthy appetite from following your diary :) I just know that if it was me, I'd be fearful of being starving by 8-9pm at night and reaching for easy fast food or something naughty and wouldn't want you to feel crap tomorrow after doing so well so far this week! x

See, that's the thing with me. I'm not even a snacker either! I have usually two meals a day and then the only "snack" I have is usually a HiFi or something for supper. I have changed so much - even when I first started SW I could eat breakfast, a huge JP with beans and salad for lunch and then go home and still have a big tea like pasta or shepherds pie or something. Now even the thought is enough to make me feel sick, it's just too much for my. My stomach has definitely shrunk (yay!!!)

The good thing at the moment is that if I decided I am hungry, I have quite a lot of stuff in the freezer from when I did my batch cooking a little while ago. Chilli, shepherds pie base, Quorn meatballs in tomato sauce, etc. So should the worse come to worst at least I have some easy-grab options!

I agree, we're all different! I need three meals a day plus snacks, I just do. We all have a different 'normal' x

Anyway, turns out I was a little hungrier than I anticipated today. I had a bit of a funny tummy when I got in from work (am still battling with MN who seems to keep coming and going for the past two weeks) and wanted something really warm and stodgy, but still nice and sweet. So I mixed my HExB porridge oats with a Highlights sachet and a bit of sweetener, then added milk and heated up to make chocolate porridge. Then I added some mini marshmallows before eating. Oh my goodness, it was to die for!!! It definitely hit the spot and I am still full now. Just about to finish off the rest of my milk in a coffee before bed. Evening all x

I know only half an hour ago or so I said I was still full from my porridge, but I was just laid in bed and suddenly got a craving for something nice and savoury. I could have demolished multiple packets of crisps but instead I'm making a Syn free pasta'n'sauce and throwing in some extra superfree to help satisfy me. At bloody 9 o'clock at night lol!! I hate MN and her random cravings :giggle:
 
Morning diary. Happy Friday. And even better than that...Happy last day at work!! Woohooo. Just have today to get out of the way and then it's officially the Christmas Holidays - I have 16 full days to myself as I don't go back until the 6th of January :D

Having a really nice start to the day. I was stood at the bus stand this morning and saw the bus approaching, only to realise I didn't have enough money on me! So I turned to walk into the town so I could go to the bank for some money and then wait for he next bus. But the bus driver still pulled up beside me, asked if I was okay and why I was not getting on the bus this morning (I get the same bus everyday and usually the same driver). When I explained to him that I didn't have enough money to pay my fare, he told me not to worry about it and just to get on. I stood at the front of the bus counting my shrapnel and managed to scrape together £4 of my £4.10 fare. The majority of it was in 20p, 10p and 5p coins, but this wasn't a problem. Usually the drivers are really funny! They complain if you pay with notes, they complain if it is all loose change, you can't win. But not this driver, he really was fab. Anyway, he told me not to worry about the rest. He had 10p he would chuck in to make up my fare. Now I know it's only 10p, but for me that was such a great act of kindness. He could quite easily just have not let me on!! I mean, he didn't even have to stop the bus for me. I didn't have my hand out for him and I had stepped away from the stand. Awww, what a genuinely nice guy!! I have just sent an E-mail off to Arriva to tell them what a great person they have working for them and that he is a credit to their company. It really made me smile this morning, I was so grateful :D

And then I got into work and was given a lovely box of Guylian chocolates! You know those yummy little praline seashells? Yum!! They're from another team seperate from mine. I often help them out with mail merges and sending out letters, and earlier in the year they had an enormous job. There were 7,000+ letters that had to be printed and stuffed into envelopes along with a leaflet. Thankfully we had an envelope stuffing machine I could use, but you still have to stand there and feed the documents into it when it runs out etc. so it did still take a long time. Anyway the team leader, Valerie, popped over to my desk this morning with these box of Guylian chocolates to say thank you for all of my help this year. How nice!! Have just done a search on the SW website and they are 3 Syns each, so what I am going to do is take them round to Warrens with me tonight. Funnily enough they are his favourite!! I am going to let myself have two tonight and two tomorrow, and then I will let him finish the rest off. That way I can still enjoy my gift but not ruin my week :)
