Stay strong today Stevie x
Hey Stevie, I hope today went as well as could be expected.
I was holed up in a little village in Somerset with dodgy internet last week so I've just been catching up with your past 2 WIs! What a turnaround, lovely! I completely get what you mean about losing sight of the bigger picture and how well you've done overall. Congratulations on your fabulous loss this week - what a boost! I've been loving your positives and really focusing on what you're doing right.
I'm glad you're loving the exercise! I started Spinning classes before I rejoined SW and it really changed my shape, even though I didn't lose any weight. I've decided to mix it up a bit again so I bought Just Dance 4 and have been doing the workouts on that - my goodness do I hurt! I feel heaps better for it though and so much more positive. Long may it continue!
Hope today went ok x
i remember you went to the oven in Darlington a while back Stevie, us lot from work are going there next Friday for tea is it nice? A girl who used to work with us works there so we're going to go and have some tea. Looked online at their website and their meals sound fab and not even expensive which I got the impression it would be (don't know why cos I havnt even seen it lol) I'm planning on just having the night off and eating what main I want and a dessert if everyone else gets one! X
it says on the tea time menu £7.95 for two courses! Bargain lol really don't know what ill get but I know it's gonna be what I fancy. Really looking forward to it. Tickets for boogie nights at the civic is £30 though! Thought that was pretty expensive for that little theatre lol xThank you everyone! Today was a great send off for Stan. He had a lovely service, and although there were tears there were plenty of giggles too - which is exactly what he would have wanted! I think we did him proud.
Hello lovely! Have missed you on here, nice to see you back
Ahh, thank you so much! I am really pleased with myself for turning things around this week. The gain last week was definitely the kick up the backside I needed.
Tell me more about spinning? Is it literally like torture? I've never dared try it because I just think it would kill me! But I think the gym I go to are / have been in discussions about holding a spinning class in the future. I love the Just Dance games! I don't have number 4 yet, but I bet it's really good fun!! Glad to see you're feeling better for it too, it's nice when these things start paying off.
Hope you have a fantastic week xx
Ooh lovely, I am jealous!! The food there is so so nice. It doesn't seem like massive portions when they are served, but they really fill you up! Really quite reasonable too.
When I went last August for my mams 50th I think I had the Pâté to start and then chicken in Diane sauce for my main. I was planning on having dessert too but I literally couldn't eat anymore, I was stuffed to the brim! My mam and dad used to go quite regularly and would quite often get the black pudding starter and the shin of beef for main course - which they said was devine!
It's not at all SW friendly but hey, it's a special occasion. You do right in taking the night off and enjoying yourself! Let me know what you think of it!! xx
stevie how many exercise classes do you do in a week and how many rest days?
you are doing amazing!! are you still getting thins cracketbread from tesco? still struggling to get any lol
the chicken from tesco at two syns sounds lovely...are they just from the fresh section?
Oh no I thought Monster Zero was synfree?! I mean its not that big a deal but I turn to it in times of need! haha x
I'm really not sure you know! It's 3 calories per 100ml, and there are 500ml in a can. So that would be 15 calories, which I'd count as 1 Syn. I may be wrong though? But I just like to be on the safe side xx
I like the odd can of the Relentless Sugar Free which is the same kinda thing and I always count it as 1 syn to be on the safe side. I'm sure I read it on here somewhere x
Hello lovely! I'm currently doing around 8 classes a week, with Tuesday and Sunday being my rest days. Simply because Tuesday is Slimming World and I like to have a lazy day on a Sunday before I get back to work on the Monday :giggle: The class timetable changes every now and then though, so it will be changing soon. In fact, our new timetable starts next Monday, following "Super Saturday" tomorrow when all of the new routines (and a couple of brand new classes!) start. So I'll have to sit down and work out which classes I can do on which nights
I haven't been able to get the Finn Crisp from Tesco for months now! The only place I can get them from is the Health Food Warehouse, where they are slightly more expensive but I really don't mind paying the extra. They are so worth it, I love them!
The chicken is really nice! It's just in the fresh section with all of the other Tesco Light Choice ready meals. It's basically two chicken breasts in a really nice tomato sauce. You just pop it in the microwave for a few minutes and it's done! Really quick and easy for when you're at work or need something in a hurry. Not bad at all for 2 Syns
