Happy Friday my lovely friends
Have had a great week so far, and have been on plan 100%. But here comes the danger area again, the weekend. Well tonight I definitely can't go out because I've got to pick my dad up from Newcastle airport at 10:30pm. So that is Friday night conquered. And Saturday my mam and I are going shopping for the day in Middlesbrough - food should be okay through the day (and I'll be driving so won't be able to have a drink), it's just making sure I don't end up going out on the night! I am hoping that after a day trudging around the shops making a start on Christmas shopping, that I'll be too tired to want to go out! :giggle:

Like that you have plans to avoid the alcohol but you can't always put your life on hold. UGGGGG starting Christmas shopping already - mind you the lights are on in the village I live near. Have been on sionce monday when they were put up. Think the guys from the council forgot to flick the off switch as it's usually December before they come on even though they get put up in November usually. Have a good w/wnd.

I love shopping at middlesbrough, there's a lovely chinese buffet there called banana leaf, and they have plenty of options for food optimising friendly meal.
Is the oatly choc milk nice? A bit like nesquik choc milk? Really wanna buy some and have hot milk with it lol

Middlesbrough is fab isn't it? It's probably the best place to go shopping around here, unless you travel a bit further and go to the Metro Centre! Thanks for the heads up on the chinese! I love chinese food so that could definitely be an option
The Oatly chocolate drink is to die for!! It's sooo nice, it just tastes like proper chocolate milk! You get 200ml for an A choice, which gives you a nice little glass full. The only thing I'd say is that I have only tried it warm once, and never have since! I definitely prefer it straight from the fridge. But you should try it, it's really nice!

Morning everyone! Bet it's a bit of a shock seeing me online on a Saturday morning :giggle: I just wanted to post my diary for the day before I head off out. When it's actually written down somewhere it feels harder to stray off track.
Determined not to go off the rails whilst we're out shopping. One good thing is that I'm driving, so I won't be able to have a glass or two of wine. I'm going to take 2 HiFi Light's with me incase I get a sweet craving whilst shopping - I can reach for them instead of grabbing a bar of chocolate. And I will choose something wise for lunch - probably a jacket potato, as today is looking like another Green day (will update fully later).

Thank you lovely ladies!! Feeling particularly chuffed with myself for a couple of reasons today.
Firstly, when we went for lunch I stuck to the Jacket Potato. I asked for it with no butter, baked beans and cheese on the side. I asked for the side salad to come without dressing. Shock horror, they messed the whole thing up, even after we'd waited for about 30 minutes. They ended up bringing out a potato lathered in cheese with baked beans on the side, and the salad absolutely dripping in oil. I was starving, and it would have been so easy just to accept it, but I didn't..it got sent back and they brought me out fresh, this time how I'd asked for it! I reckon I saved some mega Syns there.
Another thing was that I've had my eye on a gorgeous gold sequin playsuit in Topshop for months and months. It was originally £75 though and I always begrudged paying that much. I've been watching it in the sale for ages, and I saw it in Middlesbrough last Sunday but they didn't have my size. Went back today and what do you know, there it is in a size 14. Tried it on expecting it to be a little tight, but hoping to slim into it. It fitted me perfectly!! And all just for £10 - what a bargain!! I love it, this is it:
Oh, and you will all be pleased to hear that at this very minute I'm snuggled up on the couch in my onesie watching "Come Dine With Me Down Under", with not even the slightest intentions of going out tonight
